Go back and get The Sak purse. Some of those can go for decent money. You can put a dollar on a bunch of those purses at the yard sale. I also agree with bundling up the yarn.
The bean bag chair cover is sold without the stuffing. They offer many different kinds of beans, fluff, fiberfill, etc. You buy the fill you want. That cover goes for about $35-$50
Thats what I was thinking! I'd buy a lot of the stuff he was saying to donate! haha Also, if you want to just MOVE items you still have at the end of the yard sale, my mother for the last hour would make EVERYTHING (no matter how big or small) 25 cents, and people just grabbed handfulls of stuff. Reduced the amount we then had to take to goodwill! :)
Hi, it's me Clare from Lauderhill. Watching your vlog yesterday saw the blocks...as soon as you said they were going to your e-bay store I went there to see many interested...so the rest is history... Got a project for them... Thanks for your interesting vlogs...I enjoy them very much.
He missed it here. All of the yarn and even a brown plastic box to put them in. Not only do crafters lives it, this is and cloth is perfect for scout troops, 4 H, and of course vacation bible school and Sunday school. 👍🏻👍🏻💲
@@HairyTornado Yes Sir, Great surprise in there. T-Tech Presidio Kobbe Tri-Fold Garment Bag, T Tech moves slower than The main Tumi line(like the Alpha), but still probably in the $60-$80 range used, just might be a little longtail- Remove the id tag and sell seperate, prob get ballpark $15 just for tag. I have done it with every Tumi.
Don't overlook those ribbed glass dome shades on your old chandelier have resale value all day. Just pack them well and ship cheaply with cubic priority mail. I sell those exact ones all the time. You could additionally sell the brass fixture skeleton, too!
That chandelier looks beautiful in your dining room. Something like that at Lowe's would cost at least $150.00. I've scored so many really nice light fixtures at Goodwill.
I agree. It made the dining area look new again. The old one looked like 80's and may have been some bulk stock the contractor purchased before building the house you live in. Oh yeah...flip through your book pages before you discard them. I know there are more people other than myself who hide money in-between the pages just in case. If something were to happen to me then no one would ever know.
I wish we had these type of stores in England, I'd definitely do what your doing, I try doing something similar with items from charity shops but it's so hard to find anything worth while.
Typically 5-10% of what I get in pallets or thrift stores I end up getting for myself or girlfriend. Funny to see you upgrading your chandelier in this video because it's similar to me replacing some stuff in my house as well.
Those Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheet packs are worth $20-$30 each on Ebay that you threw In your donate box. I seen two packs in your pallet. They are discontinued. Thanks for the video. Very interesting. Wish we had pallets at our Goodwills.
Young lad tryingever so hard .proud off him .exsperance and may follow your foot steps .a d paying him to help .well done to you also Donateing some of the pallets
You threw donate stuff in your yard sale box and yard sale stuff in your keep box. At least you called the boxes different at the start haha. You should get into recycling. The centers take all plastic, paper. aluminum, bottles, plastic bags, cardboard, etc.
Bread machines are great hidden gems! Almost all thrift stores have them and not many people buy them so I usually find them half off. I buy them just to sell for parts though. Easy dough....
Aww seems like a sweet kid that's helping you out there 😊 (nice that you can help each other out) and your teaching him the tricks of the trade, you never know he might be your competition one day!!! Still theres plenty for every one 😉 Keep up the good work, anything that can be reused, repurposed, upcycled and saved from the land fill is Awesome in my book 😊 the pi ture is a copy of a kandinski (not sure of the spelling) Sorry but "I love that picture" have a copy in my kitchen xXx
Laughing because I have 2 of your old chandeliers and we’re in the process of changing ours too. I bought a chandelier just like the one you put up. It’s hilarious particularly since it’s a year later !! Glad you checked the bags for money but should have put them out for yard sale.
Heads-up on not having climate control. Fabric (like furniture and clothing) will start to mildew due to the high humidity here. I use my garage for my items, but don't sell clothes. You're probably ok, if things are turning quickly enough. But, fabric items that sit in a long time could mildew. Possibly consider running a dehumidifier, if not an AC.
I looked up comps on all. Ask had 10 listed for as low as 10 bucks plus shipping and no solds. Vera was older pattern maybe worth 10 plus shipping. Didnt check the shoes.
I pick up bread makers all the time the pans and paddles make good money. I part them out completely and average a hundred dollars each. It's a lot of work and long tail but it's fun for me
I hope those Xmas shoes were Michael Simon. Those are $$$. 😀 Also, I hope you are going to record your yard sale. Love to see a video on that and how much you end up making, esp from these pallets. Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing!
yard sale first then donate, ones junk is others treasure..I would want to make every penny I could off those pallets. I wish I had the opportunity to get my hands on a few.
I know you said your friend Anderson was just looking for some summer work, but I heard him ask some questions about eBay. Does he have some interest in reselling or just curious about what you do? Would be pretty cool if he was thinking he was just doing some summer help job, but ended up getting paid to learn about reselling. Maybe let him pick a few things from your donate pile. He could have his own yard sale. Great video!
Nice video missed this one yesterday cos I was super busy but hey I’m here now better late than never. I gotta say this is a great unboxing video also IMO you should have this yard sale and throw out all the boxes you wanna donate in along with it, you might find that some of the things your willing to donate and not yard sale someone might give you $1 or $2 on some of those items. Just a heads up might be something you want to consider doing, then whatever doesn’t sell donate it all 🙏🏻
you should always check the bags online, the 31 bag, very popular, Vera Bradley just got one yesterday, love them, and the Louie v would sell even if fake at your yardsale. Every little sale adds up and pays for what you spend on the pallets, storage, or shipping costs on eBay 🤗😉 Good luck, I wish our goodwill did pallets, and I had a place to put everything. By the way, check Wal-Mart, they have some pretty good and cheap air conditioner 's around $100.
The nerve stim is also called a Tens unit it give an electrical shock type stimulation that makes your nerves and muscles be 'exercised' pain management tool.
i went to a car boot sale in uk about month ago and some one had left a lot of things ,so i picked up some hand bags and when i checked one there was 60 pounds in cash in a small pocket on the back i was well pleased .
Those shoes that you didn't know are Air max uptempo 95's. They look like they might be an OG pair. Probably could get 50 for em as is but, if you take a blow dryer to the air bubble you should be able to get the fogging out.
It’s interesting to see people fearlessly thrifting and sifting thru random Items that could have come from anywhere during a global pandemic - I love thrifting and I miss it.
Hairy Tornado (canned audience laughter) that’s true maybe cover your eyes - they are a point of entry for the virus I wear clear shop glasses at work when I have to go along with a n95 if I have a clean one it looks a little silly but I’d rather look silly than - - - . Happy thrifting friend
I like the idea of doing live pallet unboxings. That way, you might get helpful feedback from your audience. Might take longer but might mean more money.
It's been fun watching you buy and unbox goodwill pallets. Not sure if you already listed the mary kay items you got but beware. You can get introuble for selling Mary Kay on ebay. So I've heard don't actually know from experience. Great video.
Josh - found a similar pair of Hokas at my local thrift here in CT I believe the model you showed are Clifton 3s? Except I paid $25! It's so hard to get good margins here in CT, they price everything through the roof! Within a year or two however I will be joining you down in SC. Excited for reasonable prices and reasonable taxes! Lol.
Josh anything that says your my person you should list on ebay. This is a saying off of grey's anatomy and will sale great with the huge fan base for the show. ;) I would have bought it
Do a free box of small toys for the kids- or charge them 1c so they get to know how to purchase things :) A good fake knock off purse is still worth a little bit of cash! Le Sac purses are worth bit of cash! There is a place you can send pics of your purse and get an estimate if it real or they will tell you it is fake. The service costs $5 and well worth it. I would have to look it up as to where it is at on the web. Cards are ephemera and it can be worth money too. Yarn will sell too! People pay $6- $25 a skeen new! Ladies like candle holders, lamp shades with jewels, (I bought one like that for $30 new) and luggage with flowers, garden flags ... suggestion- please have your wife help you! lol You need a woman's eye while going through things... but that chandiler is a LOT nicer than the old one! Looks great! The stained glass window is awesome! That is worth some $$$! Take care and keep it rollin!
Josh, could you possibly do a comparison one day, when you have an item like those blocks, where you show what they'd cost the ship through the eBay shipping system vs Pirate Ship? I've NEVER in all my items of all weights and sizes found an item to be cheaper to ship on Pirate. It's always cheaper on eBay. Would so appreciate it. I feel like I'm missing something. 🙏
Pirate ship should never be more expensive that Ebay. Worst case scenario, it's exactly the same price as ebay. The only exception would be if you are a top rated plus seller and you get a shipping discount from ebay. Pirate ship works best for small, heavy items. I made an entire video on pirate ship, the cubic rate method and what packages work best.
Go back and get The Sak purse. Some of those can go for decent money. You can put a dollar on a bunch of those purses at the yard sale. I also agree with bundling up the yarn.
Awwww sweet of you to switch it out before she got home...major hubby props right there!!!!💜
The bean bag chair cover is sold without the stuffing. They offer many different kinds of beans, fluff, fiberfill, etc. You buy the fill you want. That cover goes for about $35-$50
The kitchen light was very cool. Your wife should be happy with the upgrade and in my book, that a “win.”
Yardsale everything!!! Donate whats left over... You would be surprised at what people buy at yardsales lol.
Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too josh 😂
That’s a good idea
Haha wtf 100 to 200 for wii more like 50 to 80 bucks
Yeah, I figure he threw about $100 worth of yard sale stuff in the donate pile - then whatever the fake purses would have brought.
Great Pallet! Impressed with Anderson's catch on that fake LV!
Hi, it's me Clare from Lauderhill. Watching your vlog yesterday saw the blocks...as soon as you said they were going to your e-bay store I went there to see many interested...so the rest is history... Got a project for them... Thanks for your interesting vlogs...I enjoy them very much.
Hey Clare! Thanks for the support!
Ok these mystery box videos are my favorite you’ve ever done!!! I’m living vicariously through you! Lol
Thanks! New one is premiering at 9!
I’m just impressed that you got on that light fixture project so quickly!! Wife’s gonna love that.
Yard sale the yarn as a bundle. It’s expensive new and crafters love picking them up! Oh, and The Sak bag is actually worth ebaying 🙂
Yes I am a knitter so I know how expensive yarn is, it always sells fast
He missed it here. All of the yarn and even a brown plastic box to put them in. Not only do crafters lives it, this is and cloth is perfect for scout troops, 4 H, and of course vacation bible school and Sunday school. 👍🏻👍🏻💲
@HairyTornado The Sak purses are very expensive starting at $50 up to $200+
Nerve stimulator are called "Tens" units, some are good $. Dont forget to fan/flip thru all books .. some people put $ in books
Did you see my tumi bag? Thought of you :)

Sometimes you find money in the small bag pockets as well. Once found $20 bill there, it was glorious.
Don't need a tens unit watching you. LOL
Fun interesting videos. Keep up the awesome finds
LOL “Grandma Church shoes” 😂
Wow, that Tumi! 😳
Good stuff! 👍🏻
I can't believe you tossed aside the VERA BRADLEY quilted purse!
You find the cleanest shoes Ive ever seen in a thrift 😂😂😂
I'm blessed!
My daughter and i were just talking about this!!!
A fun watch! You’re brave to go through all that!
There ya go. Makin' the wife happy! Good man! :)
"I'm trying to be a better person" lol Same.
Anderson just made me feel so old. He thought a VCR was a computer... 😂
I had to stop midway and purchase those drumsticks haha awesome finds! Thank you so much for the great deals! 👍
Thanks for the support!
So now you're also a decorator/electrician too - great find! I bet Haley was happy when she got home. Nice score!
yarn sells for a LOT sometimes, especially bundled. good finds!!
So happy to hear you're donating now instead of tossing the stuff :D
Thanks for watching again:)
that vera bradley at 19:00 is a good brand and sells on ebay frequently. just an fyi!
I love Vera Bradley.
You are the reason I find autographed/ signed books ! Always check for Autographs some can be big money.
Anderson's rocking the Crocs with socks 😁
Great find on the light fixture!
Great score with that chandelier for your kitchen. Always a nice bonus to find something you needed but weren't really looking for.
I like the new light fixtures!
Please film your yardsale this weekend! Cincinnati picker did last week and it was awesome
Wow best husband ever for replacing the light fixture so Haley could see it when she got home and you love Jesus and Thrifting 😊
Laughing as you told us all what the boxes were and then kept changing it. Anderson had it down though. Loved it

Fun Pallet for sure Josh! Lots of work.

Watching from Calgary AB Canada. Love your videos
Great job on the light fixture!!
Love the stain glass window.
Love the chandelier
Me: yeah that new light looks lovely really brings the roo - DOG!!!!!
I had that exact portable cd player. It skipped when you walked so I just hooked it up to my old ghetto blaster at home lol
You need to unzip and check all those purses for money. I have found purses with cash in them many times. Great video!
That chandler looks tons better! That is pretty awesome ! 😀

That Sak purse would have for between $15-$100, the Vera Bradley $10-$100, black Bandolino flats shoes (if in nice condition - hard to tell in video)
I looked up comps on all. Ask had 10 listed for as low as 10 bucks plus shipping and no solds. Vera was older pattern maybe worth 10 plus shipping. Didnt check the shoes.
People buy empty bean bag seats a good bit (from places like Best Bath and Beyond) I bought an empty one as storage for my kids stuffed animals.

Man, wash that Baby Bjorn and eBay it! Or $10 as-is yard sale
You crack me up donating all the purses. That is exactly what I would be excited about putting in a yard sale. Women buy purses.
I see huge piles of purses at the bins every single time i go and I've never seen anyone buy any.

You should teach Anderson how to photograph and or list the hugh pile of items on your table. Keep the number of listings up.
So, the "hideous" light fixture you replaced is just like the one we have in our kitchen. Guess it's time to look for another one. lol
😂
Bean bag chair covers are a good thing since they can buy cover from you and then order the refill beans from Walmart
Newberry goodwill also has pallets if you are willing to travel a short bit, I was there last week.

Mayhaps There are ones now in pharmacy stores like the one Shaq shills for but the one like you have is a lot stronger.

Anderson knows his designer bags!
He called that fake louie off the bat! Haha

" oooh Maxi Pads! ". Lol

I've always heard that too but I've sold dozens of MK products without issue. Who knows
Those white wire shelves I would have bought at a yard sale!

should be checking pockets and compartments on purses and luggage, you might fine something
