Use a chalk to mark where you put your load at the start of your trip and then check it out after you stop to see if it shifted
Thanks
Congratulations bro, love the channel. For future reference, try and keep your binders on the right side of the trailer, that way if you do have to stop in mid transit to tighten down the chains, you dont have to be exposed to the traffic on the highway.
Hows it going Chris! Just some tips on your ELD (you prolly know it already). Be sure that when your in the yard, put yourself into On Duty - Not Driving (so you can save your drive time). An if they will have you wait longer then 25m, just go ahead an put yourself into Off Duty to save your 3hr clock. Then when they are ready, go back into On Duty - Not driving, then when you leave the yard, go ahead an go back into On Duty - Driving. Gotta save that drive time when you can! Also, be sure you include in your Pre Trip that one of your lights are out, so if you get pulled over you can let them know that you are aware, just to save your own ass lol. Man, that truck set up looks amazing! Drive Safe.
Great Tips! I really appreciate this! Literally just screenshots this and put it in my notes! 🔥🔥
Just screenshot this too🙏🏼
Thanks learning a lot of tips here.
@@ChrisTV1
Do I need CDL to pull a trailer?
Heard I didn't depending on length and weight.
@@ChrisTV1 me too
Keep going brother , u are doing great
RAIN HIGH WIND SNOW ROAD OR JUST HOT DAYS UNDERSTAND TRUCKING YOU SLEEP IN DEC. AND GET UP MARCH
Your channel was recommended but appreciate the video showing your travels with the first load, its been informative. Looking to make a move into hot shot before long so will continue to follow along. Keep moving forward and be safe out there!!!
Glad you got a good first load homie💯 stay safe out there💯💰
Chain straps is always good with trailers
I’m looking forward to starting my business very soon thanks for great info you provide for hotshot trucking 🤙🏽
Them drone shots was fire af too bro
Congratulations 👏 bro on everything your doing man it's good to see someone out getting it frfr keep doing what ur doing bro stay safe out there
Congratulations. Great trip 💪💯❤
I found you about a week ago while attempting to learn this new business my friend put me on to. Im so serious about it I went and passed my forhire endorsement license 3 days ago. I can't wait to put it to use and move on to cdl hopefully. Thanks for the motivation!
Nice tie down, be sure to check again after driving about 50miles
I love your truck and trailer setup clean af!
good job. the load is delivered.
I learned from being a loader and working with a lot of drivers you should pluck your straps and listen for singing noises, that will tell you if the straps are tighten enough ,depending on the material you’re hauling because some material you can’t tighten as much because it will damage
Congrats on the first load! Few tips tho, those chains gotta get checked the most. They will always loosen up. Took a rubber tire back hoe to az from Dallas(17k lbs). At least two chains got loose every hour because the tires would bounce. second tip, go on Amazon n get those window shades for the ram at night time. I have them on my 3500 but I’m sure the windows are close in size. They make a huge difference But everything else looks good. N you picked the same size tarp from everything tie down as I did when pro haul told me to go there.
great job brother, keep going
The new authority broker list you attached is very helpful. Thank you brother
Good video my guy . Keep up the good work and stay safe . Salute .
Your channel is very inspirational man . Currently getting all my eggs in the basket to do hotshot successfully and the videos you put out have been nothing but GREAT! Very informative man keep up the good work my guy❗️❗️❗️❗️
Great content man this is a good one
Love your versatility 🤞
I.. like.. ur willingness to help others learn @ the truck driver business.. young homie.. keep the good work.. & remember keep on truckin..
Chris! I'm so very proud of you for way too many reason to list. Please keep pushing my brother you can't be anything but very successful. Great job with the videos also, It won't be long before you're looking at 50K subscribers in the rear view. Please stop playing with DOT Police. I know you're going to buy an air compressor too keep in your tool box and get as much use out of the tires you have before buying new ones. Thank You
Yeah Chris I see you have the chains anchored to the rub rails, need to be through the pockets, under the frame or around the chain tubes.
you'll be fine just keep Kool.
New subscriber! Liking the videos so far and there giving me more motivation to start my doing hotshot. Hope to see you one day im also from Texas. 👍🏼🤠
Mississippi FatBoi right here. Congrats on your first load. Our roads are horrible I can definitely agree with you there.
Also when possible I'd throw dunnage down to protect the deck. So it the beating will be less from the receivers. . . Congrats on new beginnings
Good going young man and I Subed to your channel and good luck in your adventures!
That thang clean as hell man sweet rig
Happy 31st Birthday Christopher. May you have many more for years to come!
Thats a gd idea wit the beer. More content‼️ Dot officer reaction video sounds funny to me
That is a good idea for entertaining content, this dude lowkey pretty funny
Keep going homie!
using straps in the wind: twist and tighten. this helps reduce wind related problems. be sure to twist such that hardware matches as if not with twisted straps.
Congrats man , I drive a simi truck an been thinking about going the route your taking , tired of working for little money..
Man I was just driving though there and said the same thing. The roads are HOR-RI-BLE!!!
Oh, I see you strapped your ramps. I just watched your video where you bought the trailer and i commented about how much the ramps bang.
Good Job for the first time your truck is badass
I work for carvana and when it comes to delivering cars and i highly suggest to strap down the wheels on the dolly both side just in case if the chain gets loose
GOOD JOB!
Good video fam, bout time you got some real shoes lol
When I used to drive truck, we used new tire cut offs. 18" long × 5" wide. They work mutch better than your plastic protectors. Fyi... keep up the good work.
I’ve been watching your journey and I congratulate your blessings I’m very interested in getting into the owner operator trucking business but I have 0 experience. Where do you learn your knowledge from because you are doing an amazing job as a first time solo everything you do lol I’ll appreciate some kinda feed back from one southern brother to another
Make it it happen King good luck and stay safe, Like the way up pass the knowledge
Straight motivation🔥🔥🔥
The front facing cam could give you discount depending on your insurance also it could save you if need footage for insurance claim. . Just heads up
Always separate my guns too … i carry 2 pistol in my box truck … i make sure i got two lock box that TSA approved
Your right on those roads. I drove a new (empty) dump truck from Atlanta to California and I was bouncing up and down with those roads. Spend some of those new federal infrastructure dollars on your roads Louisiana and Mississippi!
what a trailer... very good!
Thinking of doing this or the box truck 🔥💯 congrats
#RoadTo50k Elevating to the next level up is good keep up the good work 💪🏽
I did that one time separating everything and it took me way too long to get everything when things were happening. So keep every Thing together until you get pulled over and then separate everything.
You learn as you go.. cdl style.. strap every 10 ft.. but 2 straps to be on the safe side.. Always check your play after you start rolling
The way u threw that strap u get killed dodgeball
buy a portable air pump...comes in hella handy
make sure all tires are good.
Depending on state and depending on if you have a CPL.
typed in "hotshot trucking" and you're the second video down didn't disappoint
Won’t you just in a box truck my boi be moving 💪🏾
Just ran a cross it tonight and it's very informative.
What do u think about renting a box?
Your light probably unplugged. Flathead screw driver pop it out and check. You load was tied down good.
Make sure they when they load your trailer they put the heavy objects towards the front of your trailer that way your trailer won’t wobble in the future
Thanks for all the info. Stumbled across your page and now I’m hooked. Only question is if your non CDL, why do you need an ELD? Just wondering. Happy Holidays.
That is worth more than a Hundred. I like the Hustle dough. A lot of people don't know how much a follow is worth in your pocket!🤣🤣🤣
Quick binders are nice
Hey Chris, Love the Channel, I'm learning alot, In Desoto, Tx about to hit the road with Black Roots Trucking LLC. Hey just so you know, you don't have to separate your ammo from your firearm. if You're license to Carry in Texas You can carry concealed in you car , at truck stops in Louisiana . I'm a firearms instructor. #Staystraped!
Thanks for the heads up.
HI there from NY Good star and good luck the best for you...
😂😂 Louisiana checking in y’all roads are bad too in Dallas and you already know lol hell Houston too that’s my second home…
I love ya ambition bro and I am going for my permit and soon going to be otr
Just watching this 2yrs later. Dayum i hope i can get in and make money here in 2023 going into 2024 bro! Been watching you and a couple people the last 2/3months. Salute.
Been waiting😏
Them roads are ridiculous!! Damn near made my phone vibrate lol
get that conceal carry permit, you can go to lots of states without removing the clip from the gun
I think he does already, the state he went through probably doesn’t honor his permit.
This is why I don’t do loads to Democrats state
@@GPROMOTIONS It's Louisiana 😒
take care.
Crocks -to-boots. Love that Chris!!!
Great video
Great video bro
No BS I had my Cdl class A for a lil over two years now seeing you wear crocs only real drivers understand how much I hate wearing anything good other the slides or crocs driving 😂😂 I’m looking into getting my own 18wheeler they are over charging so I’m look at other options
You remind me of Martin Lawrence on bad boys "call the wife tell her I'm on THE WAY" 1:43
east Texas here bro. and we have terrible roads here too.
Welcome to GA brother
Mississippi, roads so bad because they don’t pave it right the first time. The state goes the cheap route. Currently researching hot shot trucking, looks like a good business to get in.
I drove through there a month ago coming back from Tennessee. The roads through Shreveport SUCK!!! I was hauling my 20' enclosed trailer, and I'm glad it was empty.
This is my favorite
Aye man, we been trying to get these roads in Shreveport fixed, I been here all my life and still ain’t got no better, I’m a local driver and every time I hit a bump coming back in town I know I’m home. Gotta get a new alignment every 6 months, if you just passing through town though you should take I-220 it’s a smoother ride
A lil longer but smoother
Way smoother!
get some air. get to location then fix the tire after
I’m stationed in Shreveport, man these roads raggedy. I’m from Houma💪🏾
Those orange things have chocks for tying down with up top.
Why don't you hook onto those?
use flashers when pulled over on the highway.
box truck loads vs hot shot. which may be better, which do you prefer and which have more money potential.
you got a drone? that's awesome.
Road to 50k 🤟🏽
Job yes sir started up my business
Bro when you mentioned Shreveport, i said he bout to go through hell before you even mentioned the roads 🤣🤣🤣 we hate how bad the roads are too!
#RoadTo50k congratulations $Troythaplug definitely put my brother on he drives box trucks now
Get u a twin mattress and take them back seats out build u a lil stand and bamm dont have to buy rooms all the time!!!!
Shereport and Jackson is messed up on 20
