The 43x is good in the hands of an experienced shooter. Smaller gun means fundamentals matter. Fix you stance , bend your knees, engage the pull and pull method and make sure you are pulling the trigger correctly. Every time you shoot your gun goes below where you had it originally. Also if you did not have the dot your shots would be worse. Your malfunctions are from user error. Keep doing what you’re doing and hopefully this helps you out.
I like the G48 better then the 43 and 43x, I also own the 19x but I'm going to buy a g45 but a custom g45 don't know yet, maybe just a plain one with Ameriglo sights
Had similar extractor issues. Wound up being my optic screws being too long and interfering with my extractor. Filed a few threads down and all was good.
I learned this when I had to get a screw extracted on my g19 mos. Gunsmith told me the shorter screw if supplied goes on the extractor side of the gun. Being to long will catch or hang the slide.
25 yards is a great distance to zero a carry pistol. Great video and glad to see a real one that shows a Glock malfunction. Throw a radian ramjet on the front of that bish, and add the Antimatter Industries wing tue the TLR-7 sud to make sure your thumb isn’t riding the slide and causing feeding or ejection issues 🫡
Yeah, I got to agree, once I got mine dialed in there ain’t nothing that comes close to that 43X feeling in the hand now, putting more videos out about it on our channel here “Savior of the 2nd”
Question for ya. If you feel that the 43x is TOO small, have you considered putting the 48 slide on it? Both share the same "single stack" frame (though you can still run 15rds) but the 48 will make it feel more like a Glock 19 rather than a small 43x. I own both slides and train with both but I swap out the sides depending on my attire.
I have a slr magwell ,it says it fits a g23 gen 5 but when I put it on I have to pull the mag out, so I just took it off,I have the same slr magwell on my g45 and it fits perfect, guess ima have to get a 43x just not to waste the slr😂😂😂
Been looking to get a g43x or a 19 but just haven’t made my mind up on it. I’m in Florida so it’s hot but you should drop a pt2 video with the g43x vs g19. Love the content bro💯💯
I own a 43x and 19 GEN 5 MOS. They are both great guns, but the 43x is definitely snappier to shoot like @user-nw3xh1nq2d said. The recoil is absolutely manageable though. I would suggest going to a local gun range and renting both to see which one you like better.
@@HiltonIsland I don’t print in the summer. Wear mostly basketball jerseys, and have always worn a size up. I also have a pouch holster, which I use when wearing athletic type shorts. And I use sticky holsters.

If your mags aren’t releasing freely, try loosening your mag well. I initially had my mag well too tight on my 43X but once I loosened the screw, my mags now drop freely.
@normankenny9632 yeah man it's a steel mag but it has a polymer strip along the front side so you don't have to worry about changing the original glock mag release like you do with the Shield mags. I have never had one malfunction with it either and i have ran about 500 rounds through it
nah get a 19x or 45 if you want a real range glock, this is just for carry purposes imo, i have a 19 and 43x, shot both, 19 is less snappier and easier to mag dump fast and still be on point
I carry a Shadow system CR920. It’s basically a 43x. I’m still getting used to it but I love carrying it. It’s light, don’t pull my sweats or shorts down and it’s comfortable.
My 43x with PMM micro comp and antimatter wing has like no recoil. Got a johnny glock trigger shoe cause the oem trigger safety gets annoying after a while. Shot 800 rounds in a 6 hour session and didnt feel any pain on my hands whatsoever
It looks like the slide is cycling too fast. A slight recoil spring change and you’ll probably be good. It could ammo too. I had some of that with cheap range ammo when I put a dot on my G19. Went to a 15lb recoil spring and haven’t had a malfunction with anything in well over 2k rounds.
You might make sure that your right side optics screw isn't too long and interfering with the extractor function. I've seen it several times. Also, I've seen alot of 43X mags not drop free when empty. Typical issue which is why the "John Wick sling" is a thing. Could also be the magwell. Enjoy your videos.
Love the vids, new subscriber. Just an FYI, you are reinforcing a bad habit by dropping the mag into your support-hand after each drill when the mag is still gassed.

That was the exact difference for me, barrel and slide length. It gave me a better purchase on the gun and felt like a slimmer G19. My left hand rides high on the frame and the 48 felt more comfortable vs the 43x. I also feel when I shoot both of them the slide length of the 48 helps with the muzzle rise. Also thank you, I appreciate that brotha! Stay safe out there!
