Im enjoying your content. I have one recommendation for you though if you’ll receive it. On the large lots after you find your first pick, use it to drive around the lot to find your other picks. It’ll save you 30-45 minutes on your pickups.

I just started following you and I like your videos. I have a couple recommendations for you. Check out Copart and IA. If they’re in your area, try to haul for them. They load you with a forklift and you’re in and out quickly. I drove truck for 22 years and I wish I would’ve got into this car Hollyn sooner. I sold my truck and trailers and never look back. I think I’m the only person in South Carolina that halls with a Toyota tundra and a two car hauler trailer. I clear between 1502 grand a week and I’m home every night. It’s all about planning your route and a secret to this is getting to know the people in these offices. They will let you know when certain units are coming in before they hit the load board. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep watching.

Do you gotta have all the same trucking stuff like ifta and commercial insurance and llc ? I’m in South Carolina too and was thinking about doing this but doing it non Cdl. Is your tundra a heavy duty truck like say a f250 or 2500 ? I have a 95 Tahoe & a 78 Chevy pickup and was thinking of doing a single car trailer to get started?

I think you have the right idea staying local until you Are sure of the reliability your truck.. The 6.0 Ford are notorious for blowing head gaskets if your truck has been updated and studded, then you could put a tuner on it and it would make a lot more power.. I have an older 2001 with a 7.3 with an 80 hp tune, it gets better fuel mileage, and runs a lot faster..

    • @EprofitdetroitTheProcess

I can tell you all from my experience, I completely went away from Central Dispatch and haul exclusively freight on my 40’ flatbed. It pays way better and I have more to choose from. That might just be the West Coast, but I can average $2.85 per mile and run roughly 8,000 miles a month.

How much is the insurance right now.

I can't answer that for you because it depends on what you're insuring , what your coverages are, plus your driving history so that solely depends on you and the insurance company you choose

They have a driver to pay, company has to make money, and owner wants a price of the pie to. With auto transport it’s different in a bad way but again it’s what you decide and what you make of it!
