      I have heard that dry van is even tougher then the cars have been this year. Not only are the loads few and far between but their also extremely cheap. I feel for ya

    I work for a small company, and I differently been feeling the struggle right now. Pretty rough. I run fl to Co BK and forth, this time last year on 8 cars was making 4800 to 5300 round trip (9 days) and this year I'm lucky to make 3800 a run. Sometimes sitting down for a day or 2, to even find the work even from ks, mo, to fl is tight right now.

      Man I hate to hear that. I hope with the strikes being over that we can get back to at least standard work rates. My pay hasn’t changed much if at all but I will say it seemed like last year getting loads was easy and this year I’m getting the back hauls but it’s starting to feel like they are coming through at the last second.

    Yeah that Lawrenceville yard(Dacula) definitely has it fair share of damages and also units missing or misplaced in bays. When you can’t find a unit in the bay always check the fence line or the end of the row of lane around the 95 bays. And on the double letter side load on the right two lanes cause the fuel tanker complain that they can’t get by to get loaded so now we have to leave the left lane open for them. That yard is my old stomping grounds , I use to run 7 Silverado out of there daily. I just pick up from there to get to the house.

    • @CarcarrierTv
      @CarcarrierTv  6 месяцев назад

      It didn’t seem like a bad yard to load out of I was pretty happy with it. Now I have to ask you I reached out to Virginia to see about coming over but they told me all they offer is 18/3 or 24/5. How in the world do you handle being home 14-16 times a year? I asked them if they paid over 300k a year because that would be the only way I’d ever consider doing a run like that. They didn’t seem all that happy with that comment but damn lol.

      Hello how are you, great videos! How do the bonuses work, I understand that there monthly.. how much in product has to be delivered to achieve the first bonus.. and how do you know how much in product that your delivering is there a invoice that you receive

      Ok so the monthly is a simple bonus program it’s every 3 cars on the ground is worth a point and every 55 miles driven is worth a point. You start getting a bonus one you surpass 130 points a month.
      Then you get a quarterly bonuses which is your longevity and that’s 1-10% of what you make in that quarter. Each year it goes up.
      Lastly is your safety bonus and that’s 1% off every the truck makes and you get that every 6 months.

    • @seenplay79
      @seenplay79 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@CarcarrierTv okay thank you for the information, that helps me understand, also 1to10% what do you start out at percentage wise, and do you gain each year percentage wise and how much..thanks
