    Use Central Dispatch and check COD/COP option. I stay away from those 5 to 15 day check locations. I want my money as soon as I deliver a car.

    Pull your camera up on your phone. Scan the QR code to the right. Lot vision comes right up. Second, as soon as you see your car in yellow theres a good possibility your battery is dead. Says at the bottom of lot vision "vehicle battery" and also pop your hood while waiting for a jump start so they see you.

    i've been in business here in hawaii for 3 years. selling my semi here. moving to the mainland xmas. will be buying me 1 semi upfornt and another once i get rolling. not sure how will work out as far as brokers not working with me. no need for factoring. plan to move my dot from active in hawaii to active in virginia. your videos are informative thanks

      @EprofitdetroitTheProcess  7 месяцев назад

      thanks. You should be good with your dot# if it was active in Hawaii for 3 years , that's still the U.S so the same FMCSA laws apply I believe. you may need a MC # to operate interstate and that's the only thing that may affect your authority status but good luck

    Didnt know you could use semi trucks to haul cars if doing hot shot. Most use pick ups.

    • @EprofitdetroitTheProcess
      @EprofitdetroitTheProcess  7 месяцев назад

      No not for hotshot but yes some people use semi's. most of those guys in this video worked for big shippers. thats how majority of cars are shipped but I have seen people running semi and have been getting comments suggesting I look into a semi as a transporter.

    I have a question that may be hard to answer but would love an input from you as you have been doing it for a few months now.
    What vehicle would you recommend starting with along with the trailer? Year range makes and models for both if it’s possible?

    • @EprofitdetroitTheProcess
      @EprofitdetroitTheProcess  7 месяцев назад

      yeah that is hard to answer, because it truly depends on your budget. If I had to start over I would say I would invest in a Dodge ram 3500 or bigger (4500-5500) cummins engines. I see a lot of haulers running those and I haven't heard no complaints about those trucks but when you're Hauling and pulling 20,000 Plus pounds daily, I don't think it matters you're gonna run into breakdowns and issues but I would Go with something 2010-2015 or newer. Dually, diesel and a Dodge ,Gm or Ford. notice the order is put that in . As far as trailers again that's up to what you can afford . The more cars you can haul the more you can earn. but keep in mind starting out , you wont be able to book loads how you would like, so starting out small and affordable is key. Remember you'll have to maintain your insurance and pay your expenses so don't go to Big starting out .

      @@EprofitdetroitTheProcess Alright a couple things,
      Firstly: I’ve been around GM/Chevy all my life so I’d probably keep that theme going, I’ve got a 2010 Chevy with the 6.0 gas and a 6 speed auto transmission would that be a good starting point for a truck in your opinion?
      Secondly: is there a specific brand or length that you would recommend if you were starting out on a say 20K budget for both vehicles (say 14K for truck and 6K) for trailer?

      I see guys making money with a single car trailer but I would say save your money get a 3500 ford or ram and a 3 car trailer or just run your truck with a single or 2 car for a bit until you got money for the upgrade kinda up to you

    • @Ramblin_Cyclops
      @Ramblin_Cyclops 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@user-wv2zj3gs8n is there a trailer brand you’d recommend? Along with do you say older and replace everything or go with brand new and front the upfront cost?

  • @timphillipsoutdoors924
    @timphillipsoutdoors924 2 дня назад

    those 9 car haulers haul cheap rates. I've seen guys in Miami take $200 to move a car 500 miles, just to fill up their truck to get out of south Florida.

    Wouldn't it be great if our government actually helped the working man(someone like yourself) instead of allowing these companies to basically steal your money with hidden fees and the thousand other ways they get in your pocket.It's getting harder and harder to make a living in our country by working hard,the old fashioned way.That's my two cents at least,sorry for the rant.

      @EprofitdetroitTheProcess  7 месяцев назад +1

      No need to apologize , that was well spoken and I 100% agree with you .. You almost have to be a crook yourself to survive in this country but then you'll still be Persecuted.
