My favorite was a scene when C.C joined the family for breakfast and Niles places a plate in front of her. C.C: "Niles, my eggs are all dried up." Niles: "The gene pool is saved!"
Or the one before it when she was whining about how she wants to die. *Niles puts a big kitchen knife into her bag* Niles: "Now, now, don't do anything rash"
"Someone refers to CC as a woman" CC: *looks at Niles* "What? Are you not gonna say anything?" Niles: "Why, because someone said you're a woman? That is beneath me, *sir*!"
Also, at one point, Max is mad at Fran for almost marrying his brother Nigel (before he, Max, committed). So CC says, "Max has a roving eye too. I've caught him checking me out." Then immediately says, "Shut up," to Niles, who has not said anything.
One of my favourites was when CC went to the looney bin and mr. Shelfield got a replacement who looked just like her. Niles said smt along the lines of "Don't try and act like miss Babcock, you're not half the man she is."
Don't forget the one where she entered a room holding a Chihuahua. CC: "What do we have here?" Niles: "An annoying yapping mutt..... holding a Chihuahua."
He's so hilarious, no one throws shade quite like Niles, i just love it when he says "well truth be told my life was a little empty but now i have a hobby".
CC: Maxwell I can't believe you won't let me read your first novel. I've never been so insulted in my life. Niles: Never been so insulted? Well now I'M insulted
If I were wealthy and went looking to hire a butler, I'd want someone with Niles’ sass, lol. You gotta love how he always had Nanny Fine's back against C.C. Pure gold!
There was actually an episode in Season 5 where Niles threw a fit about Max favoring Fran over him (while Fran was still the nanny, trying to get Max to propose), and Niles joined forces with CC to do some mean things to Fran. He made up with Fran, and I think kind of dropped CC. Hard to believe Fran would take him back as a friend. But also, if he really "wanted" CC, it would make sense that he would want Max to be happy with someone else. He felt like a loser compared to Max, and wouldn't want to have to win a woman over who could have had Max.
natedeanmaan61 C.C., running into the room - "Niles, it's your worst nightmare!" Niles- "Ms. Babcock, please stop introducing yourself; I'll be out of a job."
my favorite one... after niles sprays Maxwell's leather couch.... Maxwell: can you stop spraying that, the fumes are horrible Niles: I couldn't resist the infomercial, sir. "Unwanted dirt just slides right off!" "C.C. slips off the couch" Niles: And voila! 😂😂😂😂
I love when he finally admits to Fran that he actually loves C.C., and Fran asks him if he was actually flirting all those years when he was throwing shade. His reaction then: "What? Not good?!" One of the best scenes too!
there is another right..the one that niles said to CC that Niles: " i will be keeping it somewhere you'll never came" CC : Your's side of bed? Niles: POINTING AT MAXWELL & said no, his..😂😂😂
You also forgot another one. CC: "I feel like I have died and gone to heaven." Niles: "I had that dream too, but you go in the other direction." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Niles flamed her ass every single time, like I got 2nd hand burns from just listening to all that. He was definitely my favourite besides Fran, he will always be in my heart.
My favorite was when they were running auditions for Showgirls, CC looked at Fran and said "Don't look at me! I wanted to do Twelve Angry Men!" And Niles says "Yes, but they didn't want to do you."
ALL the instances where he made fun of her sex life were brilliant! CC: "I paid $1.000 for that stallion!" Niles: "Gee, I hope he at least paid the room..."
I heard they wanted to lessen CC on the show but Fran, as well as a few others fought to keep her part of the main cast, it was definitely a smart move. Even after hearing his lines multiple lines they still crack me up.
it would have been such a mistake to do that, i know when i was younger their interactions were the main reason i watched. bet its the same for many others.
Daniel Davis as Niles is an absolute killer with his devilery, but we can't forget how C.C. PERFECTLY sets them up. Lauren Lane is underappreciated in playing such an amazing comedic punching bag for what really is a comedic _Duo._ You gotta set it up and then sell the hit.
This one is my top favorite you left out... CC: ...I'm being taken out tonight (on a date). Niles: ...I'll pull back the curtain, so the gunman can get a cleaner shot.
I always wondered why she always got picked up for dates at the Sheffield mansion. But speaking of dates, in Season 4, she asks Niles to be her date when someone dumps her right before something formal...it doesn't seem like a desperate last-resort kind of thing, either. You'd have to see the scene, but she jumps to asking Niles way too quickly after being dumped. And they dance together, in private at the Sheffield house, after. And it's not even awkward or reluctant. If she just needed to be seen in public with someone to save face, they didn't need to do that.
Unfortunately I was too young to grow up with the Golden Girls, so The Nanny was my Golden Girls (worry not, I came to love Golden Girls too). #1 is the absolute best. Another good one: "Where the devil is CeCe?" "Well it is raining outside, perhaps she melted."
The "Here, hop on," at about :55 as Niles holds out a broom has the same implication: She's a witch, perhaps even THE witch of the west. I suspect that some of the women who are in the news today talking about gender roles would say that was complimentary in a twisted way, because it's (unfortunately) often used about women who advance in male-dominated fields - including one who almost became President of the United States. And CC did, in fact become a business partner to Max, and a producer who handled the money side. And she seems maybe amused, maybe annoyed by that remark, but not hurt. In fanfics where they are in a relationship, Niles always calls CC "my witch" in the sense of, "You've put a spell on me." But when they got together in Season 6, it was more like HE had a put a spell on HER.
This show is nothing like the Golden Girls. I don't understand the comparison. Fran and C.C. do not look like Golden girls. They both had babies when the show ended, so that should tell you something. This video has nothing to do with that show anway. This show was about a woman in the prime of her life who was ready to get married and have kids. The other woman as well as the men on the show had the same goals in mind. very weird comparison. Trying to compare these shows to one another makes as much sense as comparing a steak to a bowl of grapes.
Niles said, "Somewhere you'll never get near," and CC said, "You mean your mattress." Which kind of sounds like she was saying, "You'd really love me to sleep with you, but it's not going to happen."
Formal Protest #1 is clearly CC: Maxwell and Nanny are on the outs and there is nothing you can say to ruin this glorious feeling I have Niles: Wanna Bet? Grandma Yetta, Aged 80, living in a home, got a heap o' good loving last night. And you? CC: (HANGS HEAD AND WALKS OUT OF KITCHEN) Hate My Life Niles: (STAGE BOW) THANK YOU!!!!!!!
They actually seem to be more alike in personality than Fran and Max are. And, eventually, you can see that Niles and CC have regard for things about each other beyond looks. Sometimes I feel like Fran and Max's attraction is purely physical and THEY really don't like each other a lot.
"Cluck like a chicken" totally made this series! That dress CC had on was a piece of fashion perfection with her body. Her sex appeal was always overlooked on here. The follow up, "So Rochester..." was great!
There are some references in the final few episodes, where they are together, about how great their sex life is...and some references to...adventurous...things they did...Fran and Max were obviously very attracted to each other but Max always remained a little...uptight, even when he had been married to Fran a while, and in some ways they didn't seem as compatible.

His reaction to CC is typical of British humour. The number one choice here is also my favourite scene with CC, especially Niles' delicious expression as he ponders what to ask CC to do.
Another good one: Cece says, "Maxwell, I'm on the patch. If I smoke a cigarette, my heart will stop." Niles just ignites a lighter next to her, without a word.
CC: "Why doesn't that place deliver!" *Slams the door* Niles: "Oh look... they do. Oh dear, I wonder if I can still catch her?" *Opens the door* (Quietly) "Oh, Ms Babcock... Miss Baa--"
also a personal favorite: CC: Well, I couldn't be happier that Nanny Fine finally found a man. And what are you looking so smug about? Niles: Oh, just an incident in Miss Fine's room last night. CC: With her and Kurt? Niles: No. CC: With her and another man. Oh, I love it. Tell me, tell me. Niles: Oh, no, I couldn't possibly. I swore I wouldn't say a word. Read this. CC: Why!? I want to die... Niles: There, there. Now don't do anything rash.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Nanny. . . always have!! Watched her shows when I was just a teenager and now even in my 30's it makes me laugh so hard! So grateful for this show!
Cece: Good night Niles. Niles: It is now. Cece: Oh Niles. Maxwell and Nanny Fine are on the outs, and there isn't a thing you can say to bring down my mood. Niles: You wanna bet? ... Grandma Yeta-- aged 80-- got a whole heap of good lovin' last night. ... And you? Cece:... I HATE MY LIFE!
C.C.: I couldn't put a foot out of bed this morning. Niles: Did someone put a rock on your coffin again? C.C.: [to Niles] Don't you have something to dust? Niles: How about the left side of your bed? Max: Accidents happen, you know. Niles: [points at C.C] Exhibit A. C.C.: I find I can catch more flies with honey. Niles: I always thought your tongue darted out.
Niles is the best bulter on television period. He is funny and don't take no nonsense from anyone. I record and watch it everyday. Hehehehehehe😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
well not individually ... the complete series is now available but just as a complete series ... I'm planning on giving it to mom (also a gift for me too ^-^)
Actually, Max did go almost 10 years (if you take the years of the series and how long it already been when Fran showed up) to really get together with Fran.
My favorite ones are- CC: If you're not going to lay attention to me, then I might as well go home. Niles: *walks to the patio door and whistles* TAXI!! and Fran: Niles, do we have old nipples laying around? CC: *walks in* Hello, hello! Niles: *bites the coat* 😂😂😂
Hey there, I really enjoyed this video, Niles is my favourite character from the Nanny. 😊 😊 I've even met the actor himself at a convention years ago, he was so lovely and funny.
omg , after all these years , they still made me laugh , one of the top 10 shows ( in my opinion ) of all time , the chemistry between the cast is amazing
Niles: Grandma Yetta age 80, living in a home, had a heap o' good loving last night. And you? CC: (walks slowly to the swinging door) I hate my LIFE!!!! Niles: (bows) THANK YOU!!!!
+sexcilli only seasons 1-3 are available so maybe the uploader didn't have access some of the other great moments, not sure if that particular moment is in the later seasons though but it was just a thought. :) Shame, I really wish they'd release 4-6. Such a great show. I have 1-3 and I'd buy the rest in a heartbeat
Or what about when they finally got the news paper with the article about Maxwell's play that Niles sent in for them and it said CeCe Boobcock instead of CeCe Babcock? XD
Right? My favorite shade towards Max was when Niles threw a party while Max was gone! Max came home and Niles sucked up some helium from a balloon and said in a high and squeaky voice "What are you doing home?" XD That will forever be my all time favorite Niles moment! XD
My favorite was a scene when C.C joined the family for breakfast and Niles places a plate in front of her.
C.C: "Niles, my eggs are all dried up."
Niles: "The gene pool is saved!"
LOL. I remember that.
Judas Me too! Those remarks are as comical as ever!
Lmao 😂🤣
My favorite scene was when he snuck up behind her and told her to cluck like a chicken
Niles stole every scene he was in. I just love him!
Laura Kenney
Not quite- only together with CC. Without her Niles role would have never worked out as well.
Celisar1 ...yes, he was hilarious with CC, but imo, he was the reason to watch!!
CC was absolutely amazing, too
@@cheneethompson5121 Exactly! Though, Will and Carlton had a somewhat similar dynamic.
I love how the Nanny has the brightest smile after some of the insults
hhaha
😂😂😂
@Jamesa - you mean, Fran has the biggest smile?
The "You'd have to be dead 6 months to fit into it", is a good example.
Hahahahaha
My Favorite: Cici: "Oh, I could just DIE!" Niles: "You say it, but you don't MEAN it!"
Joseph A. Hancharik 😂
Or the one before it when she was whining about how she wants to die.
*Niles puts a big kitchen knife into her bag*
Niles: "Now, now, don't do anything rash"
Kai Mango 😂😂😂😂😂
Kai Mango what episode was this???
Season 2, Episode 23 - "A Kiss Is Just a Kiss" (Joseph A Hancharik quote) and Season 2, Episode 19 - "A Fine Friendship" (Kai Mango quote)
i love how he was the meanest yet always so classy.
yes. i dont have to be rich...just witty like him and her and I WILL BE RICH...
"Someone refers to CC as a woman"
CC: *looks at Niles* "What? Are you not gonna say anything?"

EnchantedNuns lol don't remember that one but I'll be looking for it now.
EnchantedNuns which episode was this? I wanna watch it 😂
Lmfaoooo
It’s not the looney bin it’s “the place” 😉
😂😂😂
You forgot a really good one.
CC: I intend to get as far away from this place as possible.
Niles: Oh, Santa got my letter!
LMFAO
"I had a dream that Santa Claus had his way with me"
Hohohoho
What episode 0:34 moment?
Don't forget the one where she entered a room holding a Chihuahua.
CC: "What do we have here?"
Niles: "An annoying yapping mutt..... holding a Chihuahua."
how about the one when he has CC take Mr shefild his breakfast only to find miss fine in there with him
He's so hilarious, no one throws shade quite like Niles, i just love it when he says "well truth be told my life was a little empty but now i have a hobby".
The 90's, showing everyone that British Butler's are the Kings of the shade throwing.
Alfred, Niles, Mr. Belvedere... are there any others?
I mean, who doesn't love a wise-cracking British butler? Hahaa!
And Daniel Davis isn't even British, he's from Arkansas.
Alfred? I guess I've seen mostly the animated Batman. I know he can be snarky but he's also fiercely loyal.
Definitely true.
CC: Maxwell I can't believe you won't let me read your first novel. I've never been so insulted in my life.
Niles: Never been so insulted? Well now I'M insulted

Niles was the best!!
One of my favorite Niles lines to C.C. was, "Mirror mirror on the wall. Why must I look like Charles de Gaulle?"
lmao
natedeanmaan61 C.C., running into the room - "Niles, it's your worst nightmare!"
Niles- "Ms. Babcock, please stop introducing yourself; I'll be out of a job."
my favorite one was when niles told CC o what are you doing out of your coffin the sun is up...
She was actually saying that to Maxwell, but still, same result.
my favorite one... after niles sprays Maxwell's leather couch....
Maxwell: can you stop spraying that, the fumes are horrible
Niles: I couldn't resist the infomercial, sir. "Unwanted dirt just slides right off!"
"C.C. slips off the couch"
Niles: And voila!
😂😂😂😂
I REMEMBER THAT ONE LMAO
"WAAAAAAAAUUUUGH!!"...*crash!*

Niles: " i will be keeping it somewhere you'll never came"

Daekwon Da Prophet 😂😂😂😂
Daekwon Da Prophet This video is waaaay to short!
Niles is a King haha 😂
LMFAO 😂😂😂😂 Niles is so damn hilarious!!! HAHAH!! 👏
Fran then wrote "Good 1"
How about:
C.C.: I'm planning the ultimate revival... me!
NILES: Nobody wanted to see the original, who'd want to bring it back?
Niles dancing to Old time rock and roll and CC catching him will always be my favorite Niles scene .
They "I'm going to have to kill you" line isn't really an insult directed at her. He's saying he doesn't want anyone else to find out.
Shirley D TOTALLY
That scene makes always makes me smile, he did it so well! When CC caught him, great facial expression.
"Just plain tomato juice? Don't you have anything hard?"
"Not for you" DAYYYYYUUUUUUM GET IT NILES ROAST HER
And you begin to realize after a while when he said something like that he meant the opposite...
Not in that season, at least. 😉
niles was always a fucking savage 😂
Pz Yes. Every single time
Savage in gloves
Pz video art Honestly, I was hoping that that would be his last name
Niles flamed her ass every single time, like I got 2nd hand burns from just listening to all that. He was definitely my favourite besides Fran, he will always be in my heart.
That cracked me the hell up! 😭😭😭
I almost forgot how much Niles made me laugh during his banter with Cece!
Thanks for the memories!
She wasn't as witty as he was. You always felt like he "won" - not like with other couples who banter and pretend not to like each other.
That's like number 1!!
Only FOB fans will get this.....even tho they weren't so great....sorry, had too
My favorite was when they were running auditions for Showgirls, CC looked at Fran and said "Don't look at me! I wanted to do Twelve Angry Men!" And Niles says "Yes, but they didn't want to do you."
LMAOOOOO!!! I don't even remember that one!!!!
Zachary Matthew James i love that one
ALL the instances where he made fun of her sex life were brilliant!
CC: "I paid $1.000 for that stallion!"
Niles: "Gee, I hope he at least paid the room..."
I heard they wanted to lessen CC on the show but Fran, as well as a few others fought to keep her part of the main cast, it was definitely a smart move. Even after hearing his lines multiple lines they still crack me up.
Till Redner are you kidding! She and Niles were comedy gold.
it would have been such a mistake to do that, i know when i was younger their interactions were the main reason i watched. bet its the same for many others.
A true mistake!
Niles and CC are comedy gold together
Daniel Davis as Niles is an absolute killer with his devilery, but we can't forget how C.C. PERFECTLY sets them up. Lauren Lane is underappreciated in playing such an amazing comedic punching bag for what really is a comedic _Duo._ You gotta set it up and then sell the hit.
Niles and Geoffory from "The Fresh Prince" stay throwing shade!
Zachary Chestnutt Epic Butler Battles of History
And then Alfred comes in to school both of them.
thebeav Percabeth the world would implode into a snarky singularity.
Niles was always the better of the two. Both were smart-alecks and worked crappy jobs, but at least Niles wasn't self-loathing.
Niles was funny, Geoffrey was a smart ass.
Cici: “I wouldn’t be caught dead in that dress.”
Niles: “You’d have to be dead six months to fit into it!”
Damn, that’s savage!
Please do more Niles moments!! Daniel Davis (Niles) was one of the major reasons that show was a hit.
CeCe (walking through the door): Maxwell, it's your worst nightmare!
Niles: Oh will you you stop announcing yourself?! I'll be out of a job!
thisisnotatest my favorite scene😍😂

Yasssssss. He's friend goals 100%!
My favorite one was...
Niles: I'm gonna put this money where you'll never get it
CC:where? Your pants

It was actually Bed
Niles said, "Somewhere you'll never get near," and CC said, "You mean your mattress." Which kind of sounds like she was saying, "You'd really love me to sleep with you, but it's not going to happen."

this is why i love 90s shows cause they were so hilarious, cleverly written and original unlike today's crap

shelley ann I think if Niles and Geoffrey saw each other in a room they would just both stand still and nod to each other in respect.
shelley ann always thought there'd be some sort of crossover
Nirrini I think they would have a rivary and friendship at the same time.
Niles is my favorite character!

When a hobby turns into obsession :)
Worst move ever. They should of made Niles a closet gay with a secret love obsession for Mr Sheffield and CC should have been trans.
Sonny Skye
Oh, thanks heaven they didn't do that. Marrying was not ideal, but still better than this idea.
+Sonny Skye yes i agree so hard!!! I'm so sad that they played it as straight as they did.
ackbarfan5556 IN REAL LIFE OR

Cece: Good night Niles.
Niles: It is now.
Cece: Oh Niles. Maxwell and Nanny Fine are on the outs, and there isn't a thing you can say to bring down my mood.
Niles: You wanna bet? ... Grandma Yeta-- aged 80-- got a whole heap of good lovin' last night. ... And you?
Cece:... I HATE MY LIFE!
LOL the whole video is awesome.
Nile’s: *Takes a bow* THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
Niles: I always thought your tongue darted out.
niles throws that shade like a pro.
Niles is the best bulter on television period. He is funny and don't take no nonsense from anyone. I record and watch it everyday. Hehehehehehe😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My favorite was the singing telegram after Max and Fran are finally engaged!
MINE TOO, IT MADE CC TWITCHY WITH THE EYE TWITCH BIG TIME!!!
None of these comebacks would exist without CC though!❤
God you can't help but love Niles, he was so catty XD
Uh only season one and two were available to you?
Well they didn't release seasons 4 and onward at the time of the creation of this video.
well not individually ... the complete series is now available but just as a complete series ... I'm planning on giving it to mom (also a gift for me too ^-^)
it's all online. I request an updated video :)
where is the complete set available? I always thought only the first three series ever came on DVD!
Lipton SodaCan amazon
This was a truly awesome show. I had so much fun watching it.
i know this show by heart. niles rules!
My personal favourite ..
CC: "Isn't 10 years the standard time for mourning?"
Niles: "Die and let's find out..."
Actually, Max did go almost 10 years (if you take the years of the series and how long it already been when Fran showed up) to really get together with Fran.
2020 and I’m back. We all needed a Niles in our lives
"Swine."
"Chicken."
It was so satisfying when they finally admitted they liked each other. My favorite frenemy couple ever!
I love how when C.C. is clucking like a chicken you can see Lauren Lane trying her best not to break out laughing.
The best support actor ! He brings so much more to this show.
My favorite ones are-
CC: If you're not going to lay attention to me, then I might as well go home.
Niles: *walks to the patio door and whistles* TAXI!!
and
Fran: Niles, do we have old nipples laying around?
CC: *walks in* Hello, hello!
Niles: *bites the coat*
😂😂😂
Niles slays! I loved this show for him alone.
He's the best thing about this show.
I love how Fran absolutely loves the shade Niles throws at CC.
Niles was honestly the only reason I watched this show. His snarky comments were hilarious. XD
Hey there, I really enjoyed this video, Niles is my favourite character from the Nanny. 😊 😊 I've even met the actor himself at a convention years ago, he was so lovely and funny.
i'll drop u off at ur usual corner 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Best one
@@tickedoffnow Sometimes he implied she...got around, and other times he implied she...never got any.
omg , after all these years , they still made me laugh , one of the top 10 shows ( in my opinion ) of all time , the chemistry between the cast is amazing
He was the biggest reason I watched that show.
Niles always knew when and how to throw shade. He is the best at it. That's why Niles is the king of throwing shade.
FRAN: I make her nausess! NILES: I make her drink!
When I was young, I wanted to be a Disney princess
Now I want to be Niles 😂
Niles: Grandma Yetta age 80, living in a home, had a heap o' good loving last night. And you?
CC: (walks slowly to the swinging door) I hate my LIFE!!!!
Niles: (bows) THANK YOU!!!!
He is the only reason WHY I watch this. Pure Gold!
that was great. I love this show but there were so many missed. i.e the scene when he throws the eggs at her outside!
+xvxThexShadowxvx that makes sense. I can only find the first three too! Thanks!
no problem :)
Niles had the best quotes, he had such a witty nature.
Niles from the nanny vs Jeffrey from fresh prince of Bel air... who is the better shade thrower?
Raven Hall niles
Marisa Hall I agree. Jeffrey could be funny but the show was like Will. Too child friendly.
lakkakka true, the nanny was for mature people. loved the innuendoes, the puns, all of it. a true classic.
Yeah Niles wins cuz he was too edgy :)
Geoffrey was nowhere near as clever as Niles. All his lines were pretty much fat jokes.
dude, you missed the CACA one, that was epic.
The one where the french dude came and was a player, he asked cc's name and niles told him the cc stands for caca... (in my country it means poop)
Did Caca do a nono in the kitchen? Hahahahaa
Or what about when they finally got the news paper with the article about Maxwell's play that Niles sent in for them and it said CeCe Boobcock instead of CeCe Babcock? XD
My favorite was:
Miss Babcock: You couldn't get away with treating me this way if I weren't in a wheel chair!
Nyles: Buuut ya are, Babs, Ya are!
All of these went right over my head when I was younger
I was about to say, these are only the early episodes and only directed at CeCe. Some of the best shade he threw was actually at Fran and Maxwell.
Right? My favorite shade towards Max was when Niles threw a party while Max was gone! Max came home and Niles sucked up some helium from a balloon and said in a high and squeaky voice "What are you doing home?" XD That will forever be my all time favorite Niles moment! XD
This show was such a treasure. I think Niles is my most favorite sitcom character
