    I don't like to criticize such an informative video but it could be half as long. When one already understood what you are doing, you could speed up or go to the next step instead of repeating the same thing over and over again. I'm sorry to tell you but these videos are one of those reasons for the 2x. I really do not say it to annoy you but because I like the content. Good luck!

    Something my mom does, is she prepares the meat like she is preparing meatloaf but she makes patties. She browns one side of the patties then flips the burgers adds two cups of water and puts a lid on. She steams the burgers for around 10 minutes. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FLAVOR , one of my favorites and I wouldn't eat this in a bun or put anything on it, it's great with mashed potatoes.

      Sounded fine until you said she added 2 cups water and steamed for 10 min. All the flavor goes out into the water. You don't want that. I don't think this recipe is that great either. Searing seals in juices and flavor. Cooking in water does the opposite. Not to mention adding all the calories by frying liquid bread dough in grease?

However, for a simple burger, nothing beats plain ole ground beef shaped into patties and fried or grilled with all the fixings on a hamburger bun (mayonaise, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, onion slices, tomatoes, and pickles - all added by preference).

      A friendly hello judejay...I don't think an air fryer would work since the batter would probably drip through the grate before it had a chance to start cooking & browning, since it's so wet & not too thick..The patties sure look good, don't they...On a whim, I'll try this interesting recipe with mashed potatoes with roasted broccoli, or fresh corn... 😊

    When the patties are formed, make a "thumb print" in the middle of each, they will not "puff up." After the egg mix, we put the patties in the bread crumbs, and then fry.

    I don't know about deep frying hamburger meat like this. Maybe in Korea they like deep fried meat. He put the paprika in twice, which means that it will be hot. Also, this recipe is way too complicated for every day cooking. Look at the final burgers (6:01), they appear too greasy for my taste. So where is the 'ground beef trick'?

  • @user-ro3li4wm5f
    @user-ro3li4wm5f 9 месяцев назад +8

    I tried making the batter twice using your directions. The first batter had a very thin consistency so I threw it out (that was with 3 eggs). The second batter try was with 3 eggs, and half the milk, the batter still did not have the same consistency as your video, though I didn't want to try a 3rd time; I dipped the cutlets, fried, good flavor. Though the burgers had a thin layer of batter, I still had way too much left that was wasted food. Sure like to know why your batter was better and my batter was bitter; I want a better batter too.
