Weird story...when my Mother passed away, we visited the morgue / funeral home and the embalming fluid they used smelled like pine sol. All seven of us children were so grief stricken with our father while we were finalizing arrangements. When we were told what the intense pine smell was...we all made eye contact and instantly went from crying to laughing uncontrollably. My mother was so sensitive to smells and hated pine. We all knew she would've said some intensely strong words about them using anything "pine" around her. I am always drawn back to that moment of laughter at the funeral home when I smell pine now. In odd humor, we always say we smell dead people when we come accrossed the smell now. I cannot use it myself. I hope y'all understand the twisted humor.
@@Sharon... definitely get it. And it's truly hilarious.
Jane Bunker: Ha, Ha, Ha, That was a Kodak moment.
Same story with my mom😂😂. Cancer took her early in life and we got that same smell when we went to dress her. She Hated that stuff and even told the morgue not to use chemicals on her after she passed. Naturally they had to but we did get a chuckle out of it. I won't touch the stuff either
For my Dad, we were all in the funeral director's office and the secretary went to lunch and rerouted ALL phone calls there. The phone rang uncontrollably until i stood up and lifted it off the receiver and put it back. My whole fam was in shock and the director scolded me, but they were the unprofessional ones. Sorry, wish my story was funnier. But 10 years later, the sound of a ringing phone makes me instantly furious.
Too funny! You are perfectly twisted and definitely fit into my family. Welcome, Sis!
I married a fisherman from a fishing family. He’s also a mechanic. One piece of advice my mother in law gave me when we were married almost 20 years ago….”Use some pine sol when you launder the clothes. No more fish smell and cuts grease.” Been doing this for almost 2 decades. 👍
I'm literally addicted to the smell I need help, I sniff it about 50 times a day. I never thought ai would be one of those weird addiction people. It's not to get high, it's like a need. Im too embarrassed to tell anyone.
Awesome tips thank you so much.
@@ninawest8 Oh yea I got that
@@ninawest8 Hi Nina. I have a possible solution for you. It's what I did in principle to get off one of my two pain pills (morphine) after my 3rd car accident. What I'm suggesting for you is to get a spritzer and mix a small amount of the product in it with water so it will give a light smell. Only fill the bottle 1/4 full because you will probably have to adjust it. Put your measurements down in a notebook, which you will also use later. Now, decide where you can spray it on you that will not be offensive to others, but will affect you the most. Avoiding touching the skin, I would suggest the outer part of the shoulder of the shirt or blouse and/or the outside of the bra cup.. Put the clothes on and see if the aroma is at a comfortable level. If not, 1) if it is to strong, add some water and write down how much. 2) if it to weak, add more product and write down the amount. Clean the shoulders and cups, you don't want to add two layers on top of each other, 1) it would be too strong and 2) you wouldn't know if the 2nd formula worked or not. So, get some new clothes and let these dry or avoid the work and toss them into the wash. When you find your level of breathing the scent you like, spray your clothes each day for two to three weeks, then water it down a little z not too much, for example, if you started with a cup or 8oz., I would suggest adding 1/2 oz of water so that the shock of a quicker withdrawal is eased. This is what I did in getting off of 1 of my 2 pain meds. My Doc agreed, my P.A. was ecstatic, so using a combination of smaller doses together over several months, I finally got off of morphine. What I'm suggesting is based on what I did. There's the possibility that it would work. Whatever you choose to do, I wish you success. BHK
@@byronhk4197 Thank you for the suggestions, sounds like a good way to start 😊
My Dad worked on an oil rig and my mother would wash his clothes in pine sol to get the oil stains AND smell out of them. I had forgotten that until now! Gonna have to go buy some now! 😊
It won’t work the same is it did for your mom. Pine-Sol has almost no pine oil in it anymore.

Thank you! I've been searching for something to get the oil and smell out of my husband's clothes for years and nothing has worked.

I also use pinesole in a spray bottle with water and spray outside during BBQ gatherings outside ...keeps the flys away!
Good to know
Wow! Who knew!??!!!
Oh, thank you!! 🥰🤩 You are a life saver!
I do that too but I also spray it onto my counters and use a paper towel/cloth rag to wipe it up, cleans so effectively and if you have a tub of pinesol water and a rag it is a cheep easy alternative to Clorox Wipes!!
It also distracts the smell for Bears and Raccoon’s.
I grew up with the smell of Pine Sol, Comet, Clorox, and Dawn with my mom's records playing in the background....nostalgic sounds and smells of a good deep cleaning🥰
I was just thinking the same thing in my house growing up you could eat off the floors my mom always use Pine-Sol in the clothes and for everything and a lot of Clorox and always had George Jones and Loretta Lynn playing on the record player. 🥰

Add Pinesol to a Dollar Tree spray bottle to treat stains on clothing and carpet as well as mist into the toilet bowl and sink!

I guess I just never considered that something like this can make you feel the most like an adult and the most child like in the same breath. Thank you all so much!!
Hi @Chad Hazard,
I lost my mom in May of 2020. I feel for you. It is difficult not having our moms here with us physically any more. They are with us in our memories all of the time. Sometimes we can even hear their voice or when we see something that reminds us of them it can bring a tear of joy 😂 or a tear of sadness 😢. As time passes and our coping skills improve it does get a little bit easier to handle certain moments that can be especially difficult. I miss my mom an awful lot 😞 but on the bright side of things she is no longer dealing with all the things that caused her pain. She no longer lives in fear of what might happen next. She is finally at peace.
@chad - So sorry for your loss - I lost my mom 5 years ago - life is just never the same once you lose your mom - just remember that she loved you so much & would want you to live your best life & be happy - blessings to you 🙏
I totally understand, Chad. 💜
Mother’s Day is always tough for me, too. My mom passed away when I was nine, in 1994, from breast cancer.
I just cannot believe it’s been 28 years without her. And while I love spending time with family, I often just spend Mother’s Day alone (which works because I don’t have kids.)
For me, it works out better that way- by myself, I’m able to breathe easier and process my feelings better. It’s harder when I see other people with their moms; reminds me of her absence too much.
They only person I prefer to spend Mother’s Day with is my older sister (she’s nearly 16 years older than me, and has become more of a mom to me than anyone or anything else.)
And while she has kids (2 daughters, who I adore more than anything else) becoming a mother didn’t fill that hole left over from losing our mom. She gets sad on Mother’s Day, too.
What I’ve learned throughout my life, is that there are some wounds that never heal. And that’s totally okay!! We just need to learn how to *carry* *them.*
It’s crazy to think anyone could ever “get over” or truly heal from such a deep loss. It’s okay to feel pain and sadness on holidays & birthdays without them.
Just remember to give yourself grace- the time and space to feel what you are feeling, acknowledge your reality and your experience.
Set aside a little time to let those emotions come to the surface, allow yourself a good cry. We cry for a reason, and it’s a good thing. It’s healthier to express painful emotions over suppressing them.
It doesn’t always get easier to deal with, but in a lot of ways, it does get better. I can’t predict those ways for you, since we’re all different. The most important thing is to just take care of yourself emotionally- give yourself the grace to grieve, and be kind to yourself! 💜💜💜
Losing your mother is truly difficult, and I sincerely hope that you can learn how to carry that wound with infinite compassion for yourself. You deserve it.💗
Hi Chad!! Hugs and love to you! I lost my mom as well a month ago and mothers day was difficult! 🙏
I'm sorry for your loss. We love our mammas, there will never be another but the love she gave will last your lifetime. Sending love and prayers for your continued comfort in these difficult times.
When I was stationed on Guam in the '70's, we used Pine Sol in the laundry every time. You could tell those who didn't because they smelled like mildew. Just a bit of Pine Sol eliminates mildew and extends how long something can hang in the closet before "smelling musty," EVEN IN THE SUB TROPICS.🤩
Yes! I discovered Pinesol got rid of that mildewy smell years ago. It's a miracle! Also it has eliminated athlete's foot in my household. Socks and towels always get the Pine-Sol treatment...
Thanks! This is just what I needed to hear for what I’m dealing with.
I used to put Lysol in my husbands laundry. He was a plumber and we all had to get hepatitis shots so that started it. Now I use Lysol laundry.
Thanks for the tip!
Great info...We have an iron filter which is a joke, as the manufacturer keeps sending crew members out, and no one can figure out why the thing is gurgling so loudly at 3 a. M. And they keep charging fees to come out. I notice that my laundry doesn't smell as fresh as it should, and I have switched detergents...using Tide powder now. I detest those little beads of scent...They all smell the same to me. Never fresh, just sickeningly sweet. I prefer men's cologne fresh ocean scent. Too expensive to use for a nice clean laundry scent. Lol
It’s just nice to see someone happy to care about their families quality of life.

I started buying PineSol by the gallon during the early days of Covid. There was no bleach or Lysol to be found so I had to settle for PineSol. Now I love it and use it daily. One note....I discovered too late that the scented versions of PineSol do not disinfect. You have to stick to original PineSol to kill those virus germs. Never thought about using it in the laundry thought. Good idea.
VERY GOOD TIP
Thanks for the tip about getting the regular scented one.
Also splash free bleach does not disinfect. It right on the bottle. To disinfect you need the original “splashy” bleach.
Oh thanks for the heads up about that!!

The laundry hack is an old one. When I was a little girl, we had an elderly relative who stayed with us and who was incontinent. Needless to say, laundry was done every other day. My Mama used Pine Sol to clean the laundry and it always smelled so fresh and came out spotless. I never forgot that trick.
What’s old is new again. I’m over 60 and never heard this before. 🤷♀️ Plus, it’s good for everyone, young & old, that didn’t know.

I’ve started using some in laundry, but not sure “how much”, do you have a recommended amount?
@@kellyrush8714 I would think it depends on how dirty much sanitizing you want. I would start with 1/3 to 1/4 cup to start. When my Mama was sanitizing soiled sheets, she used a cup for a large load. Hope this helps. 🙂
@@kellyrush8714 - it’s probably good to start with small amounts of Pine-Sol in the laundry. Machines today often don’t put as much water in as the old ones did. Also, when I used it to disinfect a friends' linens that had gotten very damp and stinky inside of a house that had been flooded for a week (Not things that have been in the actual floodwater, just things that have been in a hot, humid, nasty moist environment in Southeast Texas during the summer flooding), I didn’t feel like I used all that much Pine-Sol but everything came out smelling really strongly of Pine-Sol. Yuck.
My grandma used to but thrift store sheets. She’d use concentrated Lysol in the little brown bottle to disinfect them. Then we’d dry the sheets in the sunshine. I miss grandmas ideas. Thank you for the idea. I’ll try it on my bedroom rug.
That little brown bottle is hard to find!
Oh yeah. I like the ole school Lysol also. It helps keep my washing machine fresh
I know people who refuse to sleep in thrifted sheets that have been sanitized... because they're used. But those same people sleep in hotels.

My daughter (oldest of 4 kids) wet her bed weekly (sometimes more times) for a few years. Pine Sol was the only product that really removed the odor and any stains from anything. My father recommended it and that was about 34 years ago. My daughter finally outgrew her bedwetting problem, but I never outgrew Pine-Sol.
Wow! My daughter has this problem as well. I always use a lot of vinegar and scent beads. I can’t wait to buy pinesol.
My mom was a nurse back in the fifties and 60s, and she is the one who taught me to do all the things that you have in this video with Pine-Sol, and or Lysol. That's what they used in the hospital back in the day.

As an Army veteran, we used pinesol for everything! I love the smell of it. It just makes me think something is actually clean afterwards. I am definitely going to try this for grease and oil stains!
I been using it for years in my laundry in my detergent. ESPECIALLY TOWELS! They come out clean and fresh smell. Plus for cleaning. The bathroom.
Pine Sol is amazing! I use it with vinegar as a pre-wash in the laundry for many years. Clothes come out sooooo fresh. Detergents do not kill bacteria. They just get rid of dirt, so the Vinegar/Pine Sol combination kills the bacteria on the clothes, as well as cleans the machine as well. Try it! Works beautifully. Thanks for posting ❤
Hey could you tell me exactly how you did it if you don't mind.
Can you tell me the ratio of pinesol to vinegar please?

I use a detergent cap full of each. If you have the larger sized cap (ex. From Costco or BJs), use one of each. For regular sized caps use two of each. Let the Pine Sol and the Vinegar combination run through the Pre-Wash cycle and then add your detergent in the Wash cycle as normally. It works. Hope this helps 😊

These are great tips! Remember that a disinfectant needs to stay on the surface for a while before it's effective. I always use vinegar in my laundry as a fabric softener and have never smelled it on our clothes or linen. Never knew you can use PineSol in the wash though. Good to know! Cheers Kathryn. xx

My Mother would wake us up every Sunday morning with the smell of Pine Sol. She got up early every Sunday morning and mopped the floor while we were asleep.
I've had a carpet cleaning business for decades and can attest that there was even an entire ad-campaign and product line promoting pine-oil based products for that use. I've seen amazing spot-cleaning results, using Pine-Sol undiluted on very old carpet-stains and was always careful to extract/rise away the residue as it does create lots of foam. Have seen amazing results and always wondered why this has never gotten much publicity, while all the damaging spray-foam products like Resolve/Woolite etc. DID, despite their stain-setting, stain-attracting, and stain re-appearing issues!
Great to know. Can you use it in a big Green Machine carpet cleaner? And what proportion to water if so? Thank you!
@@HappyLife-wv5ms Hi, I am no expert as far as dilution ratios, but am sure in moderation is safe to add to any DIY machine. Be careful about creating too much foam though. Maybe try about 4oz./gal. for starters, as an addition to your regular detergent, and add a tiny bit of defoamer if possible.
@@ronrobbins2737 Thank you so much for your speedy and comprehensive answer! I really appreciate it. Cheers 😊
I learned about using lemon scented pinesol on clothing stains of all types from a PR professional at a seminar. Kathryn... I have a product recommendation. I don't like to use many different products, and I think many are not needed, but this one has won me! Odoban. It cleans, disinfects, and you can use it everywhere! Floors, laundry, carpets, upholstery, and even to freshen the air. It does not mask, it kills the source of odor. I have three rescue dogs who were abused, and I cannot get them house trained. A little band is the only thing I have used to actually get the pee smell out. It comes in a spray bottle, but it also comes in a gallon at some stores and online. I buy the gallon because it's a better deal at $9.99. it's concentrated, so you can make 32 gallons

Okay girlfriend, When I saw the thumbnail for this clip I jumped on it like a chicken on a bug. Been doing all three of these for so long! And even better: We use a dilute solution to periodically washdown kitchen walls and cabinets to remove kitchen grease build up. We have hardwood floors and my standard way to wash them is fill my mop bucket with hot tap water, a splash of Pine Sol and I prefer the old fashioned rag mop. Oh, gee, then there's when my husband is done vacuuming inside our cars, and he uses a Pine Sol diluted with water to wipe down surfaces that get sticky--like when you picked up take-out and noshed on it while driving....Come on, you know you do it! One tip I can recommend is to read the ingredients content on the bottle. Pine Sol's active ingredient is pine oil. The % has dropped way down. So I look for knock off brands at the dollar stores to find a cheaper version that has a higher pine oil content. Keep up the good work!

Yes.! That's why it doesn't smell like pine anymore. Maybe that is why I don't like the smell anymore.
Thank you for them added gems!!!!
I remember being a kid my mom would clean with pine sol the house would be fresh and the windows were open blowing fresh breezes 🥰
You brought back some great mini-memories of coming home from school.
Thank you! 🤍
*I do love the smell of PineSol!
A few years ago I worked at Boy Scout summer camp in the trading post. Before we closed up in the evening I'd go over the floor with diluted pinesol in a bucket. I got a bonus on my last check for keeping the trading post smelling so good...lol.
No matter what culture we come from, Pine Sol hits the nostalgia! I have so many fond memories of my mom using this on the weekends, and the scent of fresh laundry
Yup, mom has been using pine sol in laundry for years. God's love and blessings!!!
For several years I worked in a manufacturing company, and in the summer was the worst with the heat and humidity. I tried two different major brands of detergents to clean my work clothes, but neither would take out the perspiration smell. But the Pine-Sol worked wonders on my work clothes.
Do you put the pine sol directly on the underarms or just in the wash?
@@suzeenc186 In the wash. If the clothes are extra smelly, go just a tad more than what the direction state.
@@timswanson1573 Thanks a lot!
I LOVE this - - absolutely LOVE the smell of Pine Sol. Never thought of adding it to my laundry. Thank you. . I'll do that.
I actually love cleaning with vinegar. It cleans the air. I'll try Pine Sol.
I had a skunk spray under my back porch and the smell permeated inside. I used peroxide, Dawn, hot water and scrubbed my walls and floors. Then I put bowls of vinegar all throughout my house and in two days the smell was completely gone.
@@Sabbathissaturday oh wow thanks! Great feedback, and I love that vinegar is enviro friendly & super cheap 🥰
I would stick with vinegar
I used vinegar on my carpet
Works very well when you care for someone with incontinence. I used it in the laundry years ago as it was the only thing that truly got rid of the urine smell.
I have cleaned with Pine Sol all my life. My mom used it when I was growing up. I never knew you could use it on laundry! Thanks Kathryn, we love you. You are the best!!!!
Pine sol is a fav for me, I remember my mom cleaning the house with it . So it is a "take me back" trigger for me, love it especially in the fall/winter months.
Just came to say I used this on my white bedspread and it looks amazing and the discolored yellow from our oils is gone! Thank you Kathryn!!!! ❤❤❤❤
I grew up with my mother cleaning with Pine-sol. I still use it to clean my home. I had no idea about using it in the wash, but I fully intend to try it in the wash. The smell of pine-sol, fresh cut grass, and coffee are some of my favorites.
My parents have used Pine-sol on our laundry for decades. I use it now with my family’s laundry and it works great.
Do use it as well on your clothes to remove stains? Thanks in advance. 🙂
@@AnforjesusYes, I do.
Found out about Pine Sol and laundry when my mom was alive...and she passed in 1991. Huge laundry changer especially when grease and oil are involved! Love Pine Sol.
I grew up with my mom using pine sol and comet. Love to see this
I love the energy she’s so happy! I didn’t know cleaning could make you smile so much🤩
I've use pinesol all my life ... Seriously since I was a little girl learning to clean. 🤣. My favorite ❤️
Yeah! My dad loved that stuff.. the man was a fanatic, It takes me back.
I do the floors and my kitchen with pinesol. Didn’t know about the laundry!! I’ll have to try it out in the next load - TY Kathryn! Have a super-duper week!
If you have pets, don't use chemicals on your floors
🐶🐶🐶🐶🐕🐕🐕🐶🐕🐕 My husband hates the smell of pinesol, so I don't. Get to try this . But, as a side note, it cleans the washer at the same time.
I absolutely love Pine-Sol. I have been using it for years and years. And they also sell lemon-scented Pine-Sol which is even better. In the spring I use it on my patio chairs, to clean the mildew off of the house, it whitens and brightens. It is really, really great. And less expensive than a lot of many name brand cleaners.
I grew up with the smell of Pine-Sol! My mom, may she rest, swore “it keeps the bugs away” lol I just moved to Arizona so I’m hoping they’ll keep the scorpions 🦂 away too. Fingers crossed 🤞
I read lavender keeps the scorpions away- I kept a bar of lavender soap in the bathroom (Trader Joe’s used to sell it) - maybe some landscaping
L G... Be ware tho that light attracks scorpions... We went camping over night in NM and had a camp fire burning. We became aware of some scorpions and so we sat on the picnic table. We were engrossed in conversation and when we looked at the ground... It was moving! There were hundreds of scorpions crawling around. Never again. Be careful in AZ.
I live in Vegas. Exterminator and having your doors and windows professionally sealed is the secret to scorpions removed dont listen to anyone who says essential oils or pine sol will not work
@@kikisylvester7195 it wasn't the light from your fire that attracted them, it was the heat. That's also why they climb into your boots at night.
@@kikisylvester7195 what did you do?! Omg.
The smell of Pine-Sol always rolls me back to when I was a kid and my mom always cleaned with Pine-Sol. 💚

The original doesn't smell the same as 20 years ago. It is sweeter.
Same.
Eight kids.

Welcome to “our” world, Kathryn!! Lol no disrespect intended! Pine-Sol has been a part of my life since I was a little girl. That is what my Grandma used at our house all the time. I love the clean smell! I love your videos! Thank you so much for being in our lives!! 😁🤗
I really love your bubbly personality. I don't leave comments often, but I really loved your delivery and thought you should know! (Plus, that boosting the algorithm thing you said...hoping this will help with that, too!) 🙂
I've been using Pine Sol for more years than I care to mention. I've always used it in the bathroom to clean the toilet and shower, but disinfecting the brush is new to me and an idea I will definitely try. I have also used it in the laundry and to clean the kitchen sink. I've actually poured it down the disposal to get a nice, clean smell. I really love this product. Oh, and before I forget, I've used Fabuloso, too. It works well but really don't care for the smell. 😣😣
In Australia we have Pine-O-Clean. I have been using it like you have shown here in your video for many years. I buy the Lavender fragrance. Great for bath & floor towels as well.
My grandma would use it when we would go work in the fields picking produce. The laundry hack has been in our family for years!!!
I used to work on printing presses and my clothes would get both ink and oil on them. Lestoil is by far the superior cleaner and the insider's secret to tough grease and stains. The problem however is that Lestoil is harder to find.
Thank you so much for sharing about Lestoil. I found it in stock at our local Ace Hardware. It is less expensive on Amazon though.
Thank you.. I was putting a dash of Pine-Sol (in particular, that lavenderish smell one) but into my laundry for years and people thought I was insane, I was mocked, some felt I was a 'dumb dude' and pitied me that i didn't even know how to do laundry etc. It actually works very very well and finally someone else on earth confirms this. We were RIGHT ALL ALONG ahahahahha
My neighbor is a former marine, and he uses pine sol everywhere! He swears by it and says that's what they used in the corps for years since he started - like 25 years ago... It's a universal remedy. So you are not that weird:):)
Same here... most people I tell about this have ridiculed me but it has eliminated that mildewy smell and also athlete's foot.
@@windywednesday4166 What??? How did it eliminate athlete's foot?? Please, share!
@@VB-lc4xz I put a splash (quarter cup) of Pine-Sol in my laundry. I run three or four inches of water and stop the cycle. I put the socks and the Pine-Sol and let them soak. Then I throw my towels in and whatever laundry and detergent and finish the cycle. Before I got rid of it I would also put my shoes on the back porch and spray them with Lysol. Good riddance.
@@windywednesday4166 Thanks! I thought you were soaking your feet in it!
What a great idea for the laundry and carpet! I'm going to tell my sister. She has 2 kids, 2 cats, 2 pet rats, a dog and a fish. She is constantly cleaning! We were just talking about how to make the towels fresh smelling again. Thanks so much!
Pine-sol smells like childhood to me. I have fond memories of smelling it when my mom would clean the floors on weekends.
I tell people I use Pine Sol in laundry, and they freak out. But the clean smell is worth it!😁
It not supposed to be in contact with your skin. Laundry will have residues. Unsafe, bad idea.
The smells of toxic fumes are worth it
I have been using pine in the laundry since I was a little girl. My grandma taught me. The clothes are so clean and fresh.
I'm old enough to remember using Hexol for everything - it made the water turn white when you poured it in. Used it to mop floors, clean the toilet, anything and everything! It's basically waaaaaay more concentrated Pine-Sol.
We used Dettol! Same experience!!
I used pinesol and pinalen for everything. It's my laundry booster. Pinesol lover for years.🤗
The smell of Pinesol is nostalgic for me and just smells clean. I've used it in all the ways you shared. Thanks
I envy everyone who has their own washer and dryer. I'm still doing my laundry at 'the 'mat' and I get creeped out bc no one knows what was just in there. I'll try anything to make sure my laundry is aa healthy as possible. Thank you for this!
P. S. I don't mind the vinegar scent. 🖤
Hot water and dry everything really well!
An option would be getting an old Wringer Washer. If you have a place to drain water it can work for you. Line dry. WAY cheaper than laundromat.
I wipe it out before I do laundry
I'm washing mine by hand. I bought an electric clothes spinner to thoroughly spin the water out after wringing them by hand. I have no vehicle, no washer. I also use white vinegar in my FINAL rinse (by hand). It keeps the ants off my clothes on the outside line. My clothes do not smell like vinegar.
@@setapart6613 very expensive if you can find one that doesn't need parts you can't get anymore
I have been using pinesol in the washer for over 20 years . Learned it from a lady who was 75 years old at the time .

I've never used it on laundry. My husband works in construction and it's hard to take the stains out. Do you think it will help with his clothes?

I’ve used diluted lemon scented PineSol in a spray bottle for years to clean & sanitize kitchen & bathroom counters. 👍🏻
Yep. I've never purchased the bottles of watered down cleaner. They're expensive. Just a splash of lysol lemon or pine sol ...add water. Readt to go.
Kathryn, I've been using Pine Sol for 40 yrs now. It cleans, deodorizes, & sanitizes. Makes my kitchen & dining room smell so clean. Great for your laundry also. Musty towels, greasy clothes, bathroom floor mats, doggy towels, bed blankets, tablecloths, etc.
Love your tips, tricks & hacks!
You're the Best ! Love ya Lady! 💕
Love from Apex, NC 💜
I have been using pine sol for my whites for 20 years now. I am surprised people are barely figuring it out. Does a way better job then bleach or any other product. It is amazing to wash your whites shoes as well including white canvas vans. Although baking powder and hydrogen peroxide are my go to for cleaning my vans.
Pinesol has been a staple in my life in one way or another as ling as I can remember.
In the wash, in the bathroom and for floors. I couldn’t clean my house without it.
I learned about using it in the laundry back in the 90’s from an aunt who worked at the dry cleaners.
I grew up with Pine Sol. My parents would swish and flush the toilet with it and followed up with a splash to sit. I’ve never used it in the laundry, but my husband’s family does a splash of Fabuloso in their laundry - he smells so fabuloso fresh every time he returns from Mexico 🇲🇽💕🌲
I've across a few of your videos so far. Not only is it always great information, but I always immediately love your friendly and bubbly personality, and the positive vibes you put out there. Your videos give us so much more than just tips, it feels like a good friend sent a video chat 💜
This video has been life changing for me… when I was growing up my mother used pine sol whenever people were coming over lol. But she was very specific about the only ways we can use it so I was always nervous to think outside the box… but this is now my favorite cleaner for all these you listed! And and it’s a nostalgic smell :)
It's been common knowledge for such a long time in the Hispanic and Latin community to use Fabuloso, Pine-Sol and other preferred floor cleaners as part of ones normal clothes washing. It really makes a great difference in your wash not only because of the great scent but it actually helps breakdown dirt, spots and oily grime disappear in the wash.
Hi, I really like Hispanic powder detergents and Fabuloso. However, Fabuloso doesn’t say it can be used in laundry. Is it safe for your washing machine? Thanks.
@@Diamondsareforever1603 Hi there... Yes 👍 it's very safe, I use 1/2 a cup when washing a large load. I recommend Fabuloso's new liquid cleaner that has added an (Antibacterial) agent.
@@alikar5516 Thanks! 👍🏻🌈
Just a few weeks ago I bought Pine-Sol in bulk from Costco and got home and learned I can’t use it on my new vinyl floors so I needed to find new ways to utilize this wonderful smelling solution! THANK YOU!!
That's so funny that people love Pine Sol so much, I can't stand the smell! 😂
Same here! Reminds me of my nursery school back in the 60's!! I do love the smell of the original spray Lysol, though!! That smells like my Grandma's bathroom!

I just did a load of laundry with the cheap version of pine sol and I can’t tell you how fresh my clothes smell! I don’t know what it is but it’s truly amazing 🤩
PineSol was my mom’s favorite cleaner, it still reminds me of my childhood. 😊

I used Pine sol back in the late 70’s early 80’ in my apartment in Queens NY. I mopped my kitchen floor would go to work (I worked nights) would come home and I loved how my kitchen smelled. I will have to buy again for my bathroom 🚽 now thanks
You changed my laundry life with this hack! Regular laundry comes out fresh and brighter. My old linens and quilts that have had some spots for years, I have done this on the spots washed them and those old old stains on vintage linens came out. I have done it to table lines and quilts and it worked for every stain. I did brush in Pinesol longer than you did on my stains but TY so much.
I’ve used pine soil for years. Yes, I use it in my laundry for years too. We go camping and when I leave the house, I put Pinesol in the toilets, to keep them clean while we’re gone.
When I was pregnant I really loved the smell of pine sol. Every once and awhile I would just sniff out of the bottle ! Weird right? My kids hate the smell lol!
I guess they got enough of it while in the womb, lol!
LOL! When I was pregnant with my 2nd baby, I used to sniff alcohol balls while working in the OR , and drink a splash of Grey Goose Vodka when I got home 😂 .
How was about to comment this myself I STILL keep a container of it just to get a whiff every now and again. I was def addicted to the smell of it when I was pregnant all 3 times! I could’ve drank it
Me too, I would clean all the time with pinesole.
I’ve used pinesol for cleaning for bathrooms and kitchen. It leaves such a clean smell! Didn’t know about laundry, I have to try that on laundry day! Thanks so much Kathryn!
I've been using the Dollar Tree version, in the lemon scent, in my laundry for years.
May I ask how much do you use for a big load ? I wonder if you can use that Fabulouso in the rinse water or in the wash water too.
I use the lemon one too, I use the lid of my detergent to measure it....I add the same amount as I do the detergent. brillo brand has a version of pine sol also that's exactly the same.
I love my Pine Sol! I've used it over thirty years! It's great for your towels too! If you ever have the towel thrown into the hamper damp, it's a little mildew smell or sports towels. Sometimes they seem not to get clean and refreshed. Pour it in with them! It kills mold and makes them nice and fluffy!
I keep ''rag rugs'' under my nice rubber mats in my car as an extra layer of protection for my carpet. I also use them and other less expensive rugs on my wrap around deck for rockers and chairs/tables with ''scrachie' legs. Cats and dogs love em, so do little critters from the woods. I wash those rugs frequently with Pine Sol, and PineAllen. Love how fresh it makes the car smell. I mop our deck in them also when the wet dog smell is all over it after a muddy rain.
Thank you for sharing these great tips. I’m definitely going to try the laundry hack. You and your husband remind me of me and my husband always laughing and joking with each other it’s so nice to see, puts a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing all your tips and tricks. 🥰
I've loved Pine Sol for cleaning the toilet bowl for years, but hadn't thought about using it in the laundry. Thank you!
