These are great ways to use Pine-Sol. I will throw a word of caution ⚠️ The residual smell can linger a bit in clothes especially if you are washing larger loads where the clothes may not rinse as well. I am a bit sensitive to allergens and certain scents so after wearing a garment I had laundered in Pinesol my eyes were a bit red and watery. So when I use Pinesol I will usually run a second rinse cycle to help alleviate my allergy issues, along with alternating with Lysol Laundry.

Interesting about discouraging flies! If you ever need to remove a smoke or cigarette smell from a room, a small dish of Pine Sol (or in a diffuser like you used) will do it. I learned that from a motel owner and was surprised it worked. Pine Sol is toxic for pets though, so it needs to be kept up, out of reach.

I wonder if that will work for me. I traded in my car last year and the previous owner was a smoker and I was able to get the dealership to mark down the car by $2000 less. They put in a smoke bomb and then I went to the auto parts store and bought another one and did it but even after that, and me cleaning the whole car with armor all wipes, on hot days I can smell the cigarette stench. And I am not a smoker so it drives me crazy.

I was going to ask about mosquitoes! Thank you for reading my mind. I love sitting outside with my morning coffee but it's monsoon season here in NM and the mosquitoes are eating me alive. I've never been a regular Pine Sol user but some of these tips have converted me. Thanks 😊

@@inprogress36 ur welcomes and it's monsoon here too in Arizona and they love me too 🙄🥺 it also helps to have rosemary plants around or u can also ,in another spray bottle 16 to 20 oz. put 15 to 20 drops of rosemary essential oil and fill the remaining with witch hazel .. u can also spray it on urself and around I put it even in my hair 🤣 works like a charm for me just do and just do a allergy test on urself first 😉😉
(NOTE: test the oil on ur skin first to make sure u don't have a reaction to it before spraying on urself) hope this helps and works for u too have a amazing Blessed day 🥰🙋‍♀️🤗🌻🌵🦎

Tip #1 Pine Sol had no affect on flies for me BUT...I asked my butcher what were the cups he had on his counter. He said they put vinegar & a few cloves (the spice aka clavos). No wonder I didn't see flies. As I cleaned my garage I tried it & it worked. No pesky flies! Tip #2: My mom would put brushes & combs in washing machine & soak in bleach & hot water then go through wash. They'd come out looking new. Besos!😘

That’s because it’s too cheap to call an exterminator and do it the right way look I’m all for a great hacks on chip reality is is it extremely toxic crap so if you’re washing your clothes in it I don’t think I wanna walk around with Pine-Sol residual in my clothes that being said I would probably try it on the bathing suit straps if I had sunscreen on there and it was really bad but with pets in the house and children the least toxic you can go is better and in terms of killing flies call an exterminator

Definitely use in my laundry now. It’s especially great for pet blankets and bedding. I’m also using it in a spray bottle in my classroom. It helps disinfect and helps with the smells.

Heya! I love some of these tricks, but please keep in mind that even the scent of pine is toxic to cats. I’m not sure if pine-sol has pine oils in it anymore. With any of these products, use in a ventilated area, and keep your furbabes away from wet surfaces. I know these are “duh” tips for some folks, but some don’t know. ♥️

@@Carmellawellamella There are a lot of things that are toxic to pets that we can eat. Dark chocolate is deadly for dogs. There are candles that are deadly for pet birds. Peppermint, pine, and eucalyptus, just to name a few, are toxic to pets in their essential oil forms. Even when used in a diffuser. It’s always smart to make sure that what you’re releasing into the air is safe for your pet.

You are right about not containing the pine oil anymore... They took it out because of cost and shortage a few years back, however you can order it on a special website they set up for it. I posted the link above. After using the pinesol from the past few years I had forgotten how strong it was! So if you buy the original online be careful of it's strength!

Pine sol is not cruelty free. They and their parent company Clorox test on helpless animals. Let's try to bring these videos into a more modern and kinder world by focusing on products and companies that don't use torture to sell products. I'm ashamed of channels that promote these products. Come on, please show us that love matters! Please!!! 🐇🐀🐵🐶💕✌
