DIY who? Of course it’s easy to turn your stairs into a shelf! Well, a carpenter might be able to do that by himself. These are more likely DIY ideas for professionals who need a project for the weekends.
Not really m8, its actually quite simple if u have ever done something with wood in ur life, you dont even need all those 1000 buck tools, but I do recommend that if you dont want to saw the planks cuz it might get bad, just buy them at home depot and ask them to cut them for u
Agreed. Super interesting and creative I have zero time to do this and I would have no idea how to have the skills to do these I mean I could teach myself.....or I could beg my engineer friend and then pay him I suppose.
E S I wrapped .5” strips of duct tape around the bottom of the hanger at .5” intervals so the shower rings wouldn’t all slide to one end. I can hang all 10 of my camis on it.
Another one is to add a little line of hot glue on top of the plastic hangers on each side and it keeps clothes from sliding off idk I thought it was a really good idea??
Although other people have made the same comment, I am going to like yours, because you can actually spell the plural of shelf! hahahahaha.. sorry, self confessed grammar geek!
U may have to cruise the senior centers , 4H club meetings & high school shop classes, to find crafty, helpful, carpenters who want to help u for cheap/barter/rewards :) !!
4:54 "a dainty octogonal wall-shelf" that is a Hexagon, the actual word is octAgonal, and that is not a shelf by any definition. Just because someone called it a shelf, doesn't make it one, and it lacks all the defining features. Cool little thing, but whoever wrote that script didn't try very hard, at all...
You can also put a magnet on the underneath the false bottom and then put one on something hidden (I have a very small wall hanging with a magnet flush mounted in the back) and I use the magnet to open the drawer. But whatever floats your boat.
Sandra Cokes.. this is a compilation video showcasing other people's work...like ALL the videos on this channel...this helps the original creators to sometimes reach a much larger audience.. the link to the original instructions are listed in the description box. I hope you find the original creator's video helpful as the original content is usually much more indepth...have a great day.
"When im done building this i want it to look like its from ikea" said no carpenter ever. Whats next? Go sew a sweater that looks so good that people will think its from wish?
0:59 & 12:58 - so, let me see if i’ve got this straight…number 1 and number 20 are damn near the same thing? even down to what can be used for the handles? ridiculous…
This video is severely over-estimating the skill of the average person.. "this can all be done in a few hours", haha, yeah, sure. Maybe the popsicle stick one, lol.
Thanks for the Video! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about - Mahorrla Control Clutter Method (do a google search)? It is a great one of a kind product for decluttering your home minus the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my m8 after many years got astronomical results with it.
What’s the point in the piano key wall being able even move at the click of a button when your only going to ever use it to put it down when you put all your things on it, it’s never gonna move again!
Levi K I’m not that crazy about the shelf design but to say you stick stuff on decorative shelves or bookcases in your home and never move them again. that is ridiculous. I add new items, new books, get bored of a certain decor. The shelves maybe stay the same for three months
About those piano walls!! I am NOT a fan of them!! While at first I thought it was a really "neat idea", my understand came when I realized how much space they actually WASTE in a room, because NOW you can't put anything against the wall that has the "Piano Wall" keys on it!!
Okay, I get that hidden storage in stairs is a great idea, but MDF hot glued together? Yeah, that's not lasting through a very warm summer in the south. Piano wall is awesome. Will take a lot of work and expense. NO popsicle sticks. NO! Bad diy-er! Popsicle sticks always look like popsicle sticks. Flip-down wall shelf is cool. Takes a LOT of material and a lot of work. "A few" identical pieces of wood? The images shown means hundreds of identical pieces. Even scaled down, it's a lot. Cool key storage. Same for headboard storage idea. The wooden cloth table is awesome, but only for experienced woodworkers that are good at math. Just sayin'. I'm an experienced woodworker who made a 15 sided, 4 tiered jewelry box, so I know. Crafter's workspace is awesome. I might try building one myself. Pen organizer is awesome! I have watercolor pencils, colored pencils, graphite pencils and myriad other pens/pencils. Such a smart design!
A bit less of the artsy angled filming and a few straightforward views of the projects would be helpful. But that’s not apothecary shelves. Also does anyone understand number 18 and #13? Certainly the camera angles don’t help. But surely if you want storage, you don’t cut and stain dozens of little bits of wood. And how do you remember which bit is hiding away the stuff you put there last night? We are always being told people are ‘time poor’, but both of those shelves look o be madly frustrating, as you’d waste all night trying to remember where you’d put the keys. Which robs the task of its original purpose.
"...in a few hours..." if you have carpentry tools and skills or know someone who does. Not really DIY for average person. Loved the stairs drawers but my me LOL about it beast 'easy."
One of the best videos ever for inspiring minds and encouraging creativity. Well done, you’re the only channel I get excited about when I get a notification. I can’t wait to see what video you post next!
Stop saying "its super easy to make"! You are part of the reason DIY people think when they do the labor its free.......your time is never free and nothing is just super easy, grab a piece of wood and you got a head board with extra storage!!!

Yep. My stairs are solid as a rock and don't need to add squeaks and creaks. better call Norm from This Old House.

Finally, some projects that aren't just plastic and hot glue...
Your videos have had a profound impact on me. Keep changing lives!
The second piano shelf design at 5:40 would arguably look way better if the bottom face was painted white so it blends into the wall when folded up
Immediately i became ur subscriber ,,,im happy im proud great ideas ,,big help for us,,more pls,,,,,,,,loving from the Philippines
Number 8 is cool!
These are awesome. Where do I go to get more information on some of these items to create. Plans, sizing, patterns, etc. ??
Love the piano key walls. And love the idea for handles for the false bottom drawers.
I loved the very last 1
Thank you God bless you
Thank you ☺️ for sharing that super kind words..
Where can we find the plans for #6? Or where can we buy one? The url provided does not provide either option.
Super idea wow
OMG, every idea was great!
Organization problems
Use shower rings on a wooden hanger & u can put all scarves on one. Also use it for tank tops & swimsuits
E S I wrapped .5” strips of duct tape around the bottom of the hanger at .5” intervals so the shower rings wouldn’t all slide to one end. I can hang all 10 of my camis on it.

great stuff love piano wall shelves
Although other people have made the same comment, I am going to like yours, because you can actually spell the plural of shelf! hahahahaha.. sorry, self confessed grammar geek!
Some really clever ideas-Thanks
Looked up the modular craft table and couldn’t find any diy plans that are similar. Anybody know where I might find something like that?
great ideas
Lol I love how they covered the entire underside of that fork with glue as if it lays completely flat
Love pop up pen storage and false bottom drawer.
those paint colors are amazing i wish i knew what those were on the shelving/cabinet at 9:05
Doors in stairs is a hazard. I can't get anyone to close the kitchen drawers.
Great ideas thanks for sharing
Thank you
I absolutely love most of these, the others wont help me. Ty for these tips. My mind is on “build mode” now! Lol 😆

Like 'chaise lounge.' 🤣🤣
Nice and straight forward as usual. 👍 2:16

Really awesome all of.
Tip for cheap stain when you're doing toothpick or popsicle sticks, instant coffee
Woww absolutely best idea... 🖤👌🏼💯I am MR SRI channel from Sri Lanka, I like your video as an inspiration for me...Keep going❤👌😍
I love the hobby table and floating shelf/work desk.
Really cool ideas
your lil pup is soooooo me 😂 4:28
What is the brown paper you used on the pop-up organizer?
It looks like the brown paper bag type, the kind my daughter gets when Amazon delivers her groceries. There are rolls of craft paper too.
Stair one is really cool my dream in the future xS
0:10 not real sure why...But i found the question mixed with the footage a LOT funnier then I should have! Hahaha!
I see a window, a sofa, a TV, a staircase, a movie theatre and a gym
Hello, your link to #6 is incorrect if you can please update it? Thanks, want to know more about it
Thank you, fixed
It’s best idea 💡👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The first channel i turn the bell icon for. Amazing useful content
1:05 casually has wads of cash and one of the most valuable comics of all time
Maravilhosas Ideias
Lots of things weigh a ton in your world😌. Enjoyed the project. 1:17
Love this videos
This channels next video....."Have u ever wanted an actual size model of the Sistine Chapel? This is a simple build u can do on a smoke break at work"
"great place to sneak in some cash..or your shoes" LOL
That would be a nice place to hide "shoes" that I need to hide as long as I had a smell proof box. ;)
Cool!
lol @ spreading glue all over the back of the fork when really only two points will touch the wood in the last idea
Can you do a diy on showing how to do the stairs ? I would love to make mine into storage!

Yeah. They SAID easy, but it didn’t look easy at all.
@@mkweber7007 they also said to use hot glue for the stair drawers ... Safe to say you should not listen to them 😂
Thank you! Loved this! Very Informative
"When im done building this i want it to look like its from ikea" said no carpenter ever. Whats next? Go sew a sweater that looks so good that people will think its from wish?
4:55 Is definitely not "octagonal "
Yup thats a hexagon
Come on Captai Obvious, use you imagination. It's a six-sided octagon.
I really don't like open shelves coz it's hard for dusting.
These are great! Love them. Thanks
Love these ideas!!
How am I supposed to know how to make the cloth table
Awesome ideas !
Esp. the "Piano-Shelfs" !!! 😍
These projects are great!
Very Hard tasks.... Cannot be done by ordinary people..... Only professionals can do....
So the word 'DIY' won't be appropriate....
I LOVE the fork idea as the handle on the false bottom drawer!!
Thought provoking!
Great ideas.
I'm not a space kinda guy I work on cleaning up pc cables pcs cars and that's really it so this video helped looks nice too
Omg. love this ! 1:34
0:59 & 12:58 - so, let me see if i’ve got this straight…number 1 and number 20 are damn near the same thing? even down to what can be used for the handles? ridiculous…
I love this video! I want to recreate it so bad! How long was the rope that you used? 2:47
I can’t even get my cupboard doors to close after installing them so I’m gonna have to pass on these awesome ideas. (That require a pro.)
Exactly! I haven't seen a single DIY!
I'll just nip out and get some carpentry qualifications...I'll be back 🤣
Some nice ideas there, thanks for sharing
"a few fancy-schmancy saws" lol
Piano shelving thing? Great but it's not at any metropolis city thingumy I know of, nah just not about to happen any day soon!
This video is severely over-estimating the skill of the average person.. "this can all be done in a few hours", haha, yeah, sure. Maybe the popsicle stick one, lol.

Now i can secretly hide my money and important gadgets ,,great ! Thanks thanks
I love the piano shelfes - clever and beautyfull.
I dont understand them. I mudtbe dense
Very clever! 😏😍😏😉😏😍❤️😘 xxx
You lost me at the stairs when glue gun was mentioned !
Er, there was NO other drop leaf desk or table earlier in the video. Might wanna correct that.
"...without the need for fancy, shin-bruising furniture pieces by Simphome.com". I'm not sure that's what you meant to say ;-)
I caught that too
couldn't be deaf!
Nice
Not much hidden storage here :(

The only thing woth a false bottom drawer is that you can't use it like a conventional drawer asy last not me with all the mess i have in them
epenaloza52
9”
What if you put sides on the false bottom insert then you could lift the hole thing out with the clutter. Mine are pretty full too:)
Some of these are cool, but very few are actually hidden storage
The link to #6 doesn't work. The one listed takes you to #7.
Best played at 1.75 speed.
Yeah no problem. Just a few fancy saws and boom.
"...in a few hours..." if you have carpentry tools and skills or know someone who does. Not really DIY for average person. Loved the stairs drawers but my me LOL about it beast 'easy."
Agree
One of the best videos ever for inspiring minds and encouraging creativity. Well done, you’re the only channel I get excited about when I get a notification.
I can’t wait to see what video you post next!
Its easier to put the clutter in the trash.
I like the way she says "it's incredibly easy to make" and everything takes a couple of hours. Yea right
Unless 2 sets off hands building
1 setta hands need to be experienced
Why would you like that?
And since when does something taking time make it difficult? Oh right, since you're spoiled and have had everything done for you.
Also barely gives instructions. Here's the general idea now figure it out for yourself
Stop saying "its super easy to make"! You are part of the reason DIY people think when they do the labor its free.......your time is never free and nothing is just super easy, grab a piece of wood and you got a head board with extra storage!!!
Really just hang a bar and curtain on the ceiling near a wall and stuff everything behind there.
Corner shelf and false bottom drawer was the best part of this video. The rest was a waste of time.
Good ideas but my house is not made of wood
Did NOT see any flip-top desk, even going back to double-check. Sorry, it was ahead in the video, not behind.
It's a chaise longe, NOT a chaise lounge. It literally means a long chair.
