Haha that's great! I told the cashier at ours that if they'd rebrand as the Dollar and Then Some Store, it would get them through the next several recessions!
The tension rods on the back of the door made this worth watching! As well as the reminder to use garment bags on dress clothes that are rarely worn. Thank you!
I added hand written tags tied on with heavy string so I remember what is in each basket. Looks cute too. Loved this video, so many great ideas for organizing a closet. I have a stool too! Love the noodle idea for my boots❣️❤
Thanks for the great ideas. I also like to put the plastic baskets inside the fabric drawers...basket gives it structure and the drawer gives it a sharp, clean look. The basket is also easy to clean/disinfect after having my shoes in them.💕
If you hang your clothes inside out in your closet, you won’t have that hanger bump on your shoulders, and if you have pets, you won’t have pet hair on the outside of your clothes when you get dressed 😁
I've done the same! I chopped the lip of the plastic bin off and it slips right inside. A bit of duct tape around the top for strength (and to hide how I mangled it before breaking out the dremel). It allows me to fill them with heavier stuff in the pantry.
I'm not a parent yet, but I want to thank you for the tip about putting kids outfits together on hangers! Makes so much sense!! Really, it's great advice for any age, ty!
I needed a way to store a couple of rolls of toilet paper within arm’s reach of when I’m on the toilet. I didn’t want to spend $30 on a regular tp stacker, nor did I have floor space for it. I got a plastic rectangular basket that was just big enough for two rolls of tp, that had a decorative design with holes for screws. (The Dollar Store has tons of these!) I screwed the basket into the wall where it was convenient. I also keep a few pads in there. Voila! Problem solved for $1.25 plus two screws.
You have great ideas! The use of the containers make the closet look clean an neat. Surprised though, that you didn't use 'Huggable Hangers' by Joy Mangano, or the knock-off brands of this hanger. You talked about maximizing storage space and these hangers really give you a ton more space. They also have clips for extending hangers, shoe bags, fragrance disks, antimicrobial garment bags, and other items. You should look them up.
Great tips but why not use metal rings on all of it instead of shower rings that could break? Also, there is another way to store ties on the tie hanger. To be able to see the color/style of each tie by glancing at it, hook them all on one side. It does make it heavy on one side, but hook the other side out where you can easily see them... and looks neater too.
I use recipe cards on the front of my baskets...Thanks for sharing...Some ideas are harder to incorporate as a couple in a one-bedroom apartment with 2 closets...there is limited space.😀
I did that with my husband's suits shirts and ties I messed up the soup with the shirt but the shirt was on the inside of the jacket with the pants over the hanger with the tie and that way we never he needed a suit he just pull it out with everything together. He enjoyed that much better than everything being separated. I also color code and folded and stacked our t-shirts his stacking and my stack and also color code our shoes. That made dressing so much easier and faster
Hi this is JENNIFER from Texas. I like some of your ideas like putting skirts and tops together. The most overwhelming thing to me is to take everything out of my closet I have a huge closet and that’s too much for me how about like a shelf at a time or a rack at a time does that work too?
I liked the first 2 tips and the final tip. Very creative! I don't think the belt/scarf organizers are useful for me personally, as I have tried similar setups. I'm always frustrated taking off dozens of belts or scarves to get at the one I need. I still need to find a better way!
I love the idea for leggings. My dad also loves wire hangers, he's elderly and the shirts slip on & off wire hangers easily, yet the polo/golf style shirts never seem to fall off. So long as he doesn't get too many loose hangers without shirts, in which case they tend to tangle.
I do alot of hacks at home, I always learn something new from you , great idea love the channel. Thank you for sharing your bright and helpful ideas . Do you have any moving / packing unpacking hacks?
The tension rods on the back of the door are absolutely brilliant! I’m one to try to make use of every space I can and asides from the standard over the door hooks, this idea utilizes the bottom half of the door as well! Thank you for this tip!
Dang. I bought several sets of "space-saving" hangers from BBB and paid a'plenty! 🤑 Great hack! I also love the pool noodle in boots. I do the same thing with cardboard rolls from wrapping paper or paper towels. Pool noodles will be much better! 🤣 Thx for sharing.
Great idea with the leggings, but to add to that convenience after you fold them to the very end - then pull the waist top over the fold to lock the roll close. Then you won't have them flapping loose like yours are doing.
A suggestion, You should never store clothes in plastic bags. They need to breath. If you need a cover, and do not have access to a garment bag, use a pillowcase like you used the plastic bag. If in a pinch, sheets work too. Plastic holds in moisture, dust mites, can cause staining( from invisible stains andfrom the plastic bag itself )and traps smells. When you bring home dry cleaned clothing, always remove the bags. The chemicals used will get trapped.
When doing the belts you have to take off all the belts in order to get to the one that you want to wear but the idea is cool. Could you just buckle the belt over the hoop and that way you wouldn't have to go through the whole belt thing to take the one off you want. I'm just asking
💲💖💲I Call it the Quarter More Store💲💖💲 Love Quarter More Store
Lol! Right!
Haha that's great! I told the cashier at ours that if they'd rebrand as the Dollar and Then Some Store, it would get them through the next several recessions!
Went in again today and told them about your comment, they loved it!
I’m seriously gonna start calling at that too! 🤣👍🏼
I call it the dollar and quarter too much store
The tension rods on the back of the door made this worth watching! As well as the reminder to use garment bags on dress clothes that are rarely worn. Thank you!
I go one-step further by labeling the boxes with dymo labels. My memory is too short to remember what is each box. Nice job though. Closet looks great
I added hand written tags tied on with heavy string so I remember what is in each basket. Looks cute too. Loved this video, so many great ideas for organizing a closet. I have a stool too! Love the noodle idea for my boots❣️❤
Very useful tips! It makes me want to organize my stuff!
Thanks for the great ideas.

Simple things to make, and to make us more organized, Thank You!
These are wonderful tips! Thank You for taking the time to share this with us all ❤️
Love the tension rod for storage. Im going to use it for my scarves
Instead of the pop tabs I use shower curtain rings over my hangers, I use this in the closet and with over the door hooks
This also works well with looping through long items so they don't drag
If you hang your clothes inside out in your closet, you won’t have that hanger bump on your shoulders, and if you have pets, you won’t have pet hair on the outside of your clothes when you get dressed 😁
I call it the Buck & quarter store! Lol ty for the affordable organization space saver tips!! ❤
I LOVE the putting a plastic box in a foldable box. That is a fantastic idea.
I've done the same! I chopped the lip of the plastic bin off and it slips right inside. A bit of duct tape around the top for strength (and to hide how I mangled it before breaking out the dremel). It allows me to fill them with heavier stuff in the pantry.
Truly enjoyed this organizing video!
Yes! Im getting ready to move in a few weeks thanks for the great tips! ☺❤

I suggest using a label maker to mark the bins. Then you'll find those items on first try.
I simplify our laundry room by using colored hangers to match wall color. Then you can grab one color and off it goes to that room.
On the bags you can’t see in, up top, I would put a label (dollar store has chalkboard ones) on string/yarn & tie onto the handle.
I use a hanging organizer for my leggings and organize them according to crops, pants, compression, etc. It saves so much space & I can see each pair.
Such cute and useful, practical tips! Well done and so creative! Thank you!

Thank you for some really unique storage ideas. I find if you place your shoes “Soles” (Bottoms) together when storing you won’t get them dirty. 😉
Great ideas! Skirt/top combo on the hanger and the pool noodle for boots ideas are much appreciated. Thank you! 😊 Lady Bell
Dollar tree has garment bags too
I LOVE making outfits before I put my clothes up! I honestly thought I was the only one😌🌟
Love all these ideas especially the board with knobs. I love knobs
Thank you for sharing all your ideas 👍🏻👍🏻🤗
Finally one of these videos that’s actually useful!
Some great ideas, but how am I the only one freaking out over the wire hangers??? Seeing those hurt my soul...
I hate wire hangers
@@salems_gigi6309 I replaced my wire hangers with Joy hangers on HSN.
Because we are old enough to remember when Mommy Dearest came out.

Would love to see you do a video on organizing a craft room
This is actually an amazing video. Some hacks videos have awful ideas but all of these hacks are really practical and useful! I subscribed.
I use recipe cards on the front of my baskets...Thanks for sharing...Some ideas are harder to incorporate as a couple in a one-bedroom apartment with 2 closets...there is limited space.😀
Instead of buying pool noodles for your high boots, just use an empty carton from eggs or a roll of old newspapers.
Love the idea of making outfits! Genius!

I only have one purse at a time. My grandmother had a purse and shoes to match every outfit. I am just plain Jane.
Well I'm sold.❤

Does hanging so many bags on the closet door create too much stress for the door hinges?

Very helpful tips. Thank you very much.👍🍀❤️
Great ideas thanks
We all have hats that look all the same and can be put so nicely in one another, don't we?
I also use empty soda bottles to help my long boots stand up
I've used rolled up magazines to put in my boots to keep them standing
I do too
Gonna be using the sunglass hanger, and pool noodles in boots. Thanks for the tips 👍
Do you have ideas for storage that do not do damage for those of us who live in apartments?

WHERE did you find metal clothes hangers?
When doing the belts you have to take off all the belts in order to get to the one that you want to wear but the idea is cool. Could you just buckle the belt over the hoop and that way you wouldn't have to go through the whole belt thing to take the one off you want. I'm just asking
Use shower curtain hooks and you can take belts off whatever one you want .......
I put nails on the back wall of closet and hang a belt on each one. Cheap and convenient.
Awesome hacks!
Thanks for sharing this hacks
Love this VIdeo!
Is this just an advertising channel for Dollar Tree?
Fun Fact - Family Dollar and Dollar Tree are owned by the same Corporation. Who knew??
