Many closed media consoles don't have a method to allow electronics to cool off. Something very important to keep in mind when enclosing anything electronic is that electronics create a ton of heat. Because they create a ton of heat, you can shorten the lives of the electronics or even start a fire. Try to hide electronics in ways that allow them plenty of room to breathe and remove heat.

So funfact, ikea follows a pretty rigid naming convention meaning you can figure out roughly what each item's name means just from what it is. The relevant categories for this video are:
Bookcases and other office items - Professions and Scandinavian boy’s names. Like Helmer
Boxes, general storage and wall decoration - Unusual Swedish expressions and Swedish place names. Like Plogfåra(the little ditches created when tilling a field), Harvmatta(a carpet of chain link fence pulled behind a tracktor to even out gravel or remove moss, etc.), Hönsnät(chicken wire mesh), Dammäng(a field which has been artificially flooded in order to produce hay, a very old outdated practice) Mjölkkanna(an old-timey metal milk jug) and Fryksås(a place)
Bedroom and living room furniture - Norwegian places. Like Mjösa and Tonstad
Bathroom items - Names of Swedish lakes and bodies of water. Like Visslaån, Blecksjön and Ljungan

After getting disgusted with myself over my collection of cheap Walmart/Target/dollar store organization bins, boxes and totes making my organization look disorganized and messy... I finally went to Ikea (and Daiso). Sooo happy I did! Everything is now super-organized, looks coordinated, neat, and clean!
Ikea furniture is very hit-miss. But for organizing and cloth items like dish towels, toss pillows etc. Ikea is amazing value in my opinion.

When we renovated our two bathrooms, instead of the traditional medicine cabinet, we modified large kitchen cabinets (two per bathroom) to fill the spaces between the studs, installed mirrors on the cabinet doors and called it a day. They may be more shallow than regular kitchen cabinets, but given the large size, they work beautifully in both spaces, hold all our things and, what I love the most, are totally unexpected!🎉🎉

Nick: you can make a medicine cabinet in your bathroom by having it put in between the studs. You can also have one built and install it on the wall over the toilet which is usually just wasted space anyway. I've done both.
