The washers should have went between the board and the head of the screw. The washer keeps the head of the screw from splintering the wood and stripping the hole so your knob always stays tight. 😊 just trying to be helpful not hateful. I enjoy watching the crafts you come up with.
I’d recommend countersinking the holes on the backside too. I’m doing something similar to hang a shower caddy to the wall opposite the shower head as the caddy slides right off the shower head.
you can change out the top of your spray can nozzels out with your OLD WD40 top and it gives you a smaller pray and you can use the straw for even tighter or words!!! Saw it on Tic Toc.
I always enjoy watching you. My house is over 130 years old, so I totally understand not having a lot of closet type spaces. We also have the world's smallest walk in pantry. lol You have to be fairly small to walk inside it without going in sideways. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I just wish that I could keep my house as organized and clean as you do yours! .
Those rainbow metal boxes on the wall are pretty handy. I was thinking about putting ribbon in it, especially around the holiday wrapping season. Another great video.
Shannon, thank you for sharing these ideas for storage. Once we get settled, I will be going through what I have and reorganizing all. This will help so much❤
Hi, love so many of your ideas, you really inspired me to redo my craft room 😊. Do you mind sharing what font you used on the Kuggis bins in your craft room. Can’t wait to see your next video ❤
First of all Shannon… what a sweet thing to do for your Mom. Secondly… how are you old enough to have kids in college??? Noooo I am NOT sucking up. lol. I would never have guessed that you were old enough to have kids in college. Loved the organization video. Have always loved ikea … my last house was huge. The one I’m in now is very small . I haven’t been able to use some of their bigger systems but love the smaller organization pieces. Thanks so much for prepping and sharing this video… 💜 Ruth Ontario Canada
Aw thanks Ruth! I'll be turning the big 4-0 this year. I still think it's crazy I have 2 girls in college though too, lol! I also love that about IKEA, they have things for any size space to make things versatile. Hugs to you!
I love that you're junk drawer is organized! Our drove me crazy after we moved in. It wider than yours though, so I got a madesmart brand utility drawer organizer from homegoods. I love it.
I sure wish that there was an IKEA near me. Love how your organized. I love older houses. I would love to see yours. My house is a 4 bedroom Cape Cod built in 1947.
I love so many of these ideas! I always forget about spray paint as an option. I need to get more adventurous. For the wall that has the 'not IKEA cabinets' would you be willing to share what those are? I've been looking for the perfect tall cabinets to create a pantry wall in my little kitchen and those cabinets look perfect. Thank you!
Aw. thank you for checking on him! He's been doing a lot better! Another dr appt tomorrow so hoping for more improvements ❤️. We appreciate the prayers!
I like the cork trivet pockets. we got those to use for the kitchen or mini pin boards, but I like your pocket idea. how did you adhere the fabric to the cork?
Wish I had an IKEA nearby. My choices are Portland, OR or SLC, UT. I'm smack in the middle of both cities. The way I shop, I like to see/feel items in person. Still, I got some good ideas. 😊
Me too! I have to drive about 50 miles to get to the nearest Ikea. It's worth it if I have to go to the big city for other things, but I always forget to make a trip to Ikea while I'm there. Or I get too tired by the time I do my other things, usually doctor appointments. And Ikea doesn't sell online, which is the biggest bummer. Unless I'm missing something. EDIT: I just found their online website! Woohoo!!
Hi- thanks for the video & tips. Can you tell me where you got the castors for the kitchen island? Do you use the same casters that they have for the Alex drawers?
Your craft room is colorful and I like it. Your moms is neutral colors and I like hers too. I like her rug too. Well done on both rooms. When you make all your crafts/ DIYS do you have a store or sell them somewhere or have a business where you do stuff for other people? I am fairly new here. You are very organized.
You can order online. As least by watching IKEA videos - and there are tons of them! - will give you ideas of what to order. Or find someone similar elsewhere. If not in your area, is it too far to drive, perhaps, a mini IKEA road trip?
A quick note…nuts should be stored in the refrigerator or longer term the freezer to keep them from going rancid. The oil in the nuts will cause them to go stale quickly and then rancid. When I purchase the large bags of nuts from Costco I store them in the freezer to have, or ready for the holidays.
How do you know the expire date of different foods if you place them in clear containers? Even more so if you add new pasta to for example already existing pasta?
Cut out the exp date and tape it to the bottom of the container. I use a label maker. Also don’t mix products. Use up what you have before you add new product.
I am moving to a new house with a LARGE area for my craft room/growing business and was wondering if you would like to come to South Carolina and help me organize it!!😊 I need your skills! You are so talented!
Where do you keep leftovers of pasta? I mean, when you buy penne in a big package (because of less carbon trace) they can't fill all in this beautiful jar...
We have Ikea in my country and it's one of my favourite places in the world. Unfortunately, we don't have all the products listed here. I type in the name of the item and it comes up with lots of different items under that range but not necessarily the actual item listed here. Shame, though. I could use a few of these things I've seen here in my own home.

I was gonna say the same thing

We are not all perfect.

❤❤❤Looks great. So organized. You are a very great daughter to do all that for your mother.
Thank you so much!
Shannon, thank you for sharing these ideas for storage. Once we get settled, I will be going through what I have and reorganizing all. This will help so much❤
So glad this was helpful! And YES, use what you have to get organized, you can always fill in with new items later. Best wishes to you!
Love what you did for your mom! Looks amazing!! Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy watching and learning from you, D

I need a video just about making the pantry. Brilliant!
You did a great job with crafting your own room and your mom’s room looks really nice.
Thank you! 🤗
I'm glad I watch this far. The organized junk drawer. Yessss❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing all the organizing tips. Have a blessed week.
Thank you! You too!
I am a jar lover and your Ikea jars ideas have inspired me.
Hey Shannon. I love everything about this video! You amaze me. Love your beautiful home. IKEA is amazing. Tfs 🩷
Thank you so much!
How beautiful everything..love ur ideas and enjoy watching all ur videos over and over again.
Love this! I have ikea cubes and desk in my craft room but not loving it. This is definitely helpful to see how to use other options! Thank you! 😊
I love all of these ideas. I wish there was an IKEA close to me. I would love that cart and a lot of other things from there. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much Shannon. Though, Ikea here in France is much cheaper. I love, love your craftroom organization and what you did for your Mom 🥰
IKEA is a little pricey here, I do agree. Glad you get better prices there!
I sure wish that there was an IKEA near me. Love how your organized. I love older houses. I would love to see yours. My house is a 4 bedroom Cape Cod built in 1947.

@@TheDailyDIYer You're welcome 💕
This organization video is just the best!
Yay! Thank you!
OMG! You're in St Louis! I recognized the grain bins next to the IKEA store immediately. Hello from Chesterfield. 👋
Hello I was interested in the cabinets with doors that you mentioned didnt come from IKEA. Where did you find those?
You had so many great ideas! Don’t have an Ikea but you gave many so many options
All great hacks. Have an amazing day and week.
Thank you! Wishing you a great week ahead too!
Really one of the best organization ideas
Your cupboards you put up around the different rooms are fabulous. I love them.
Love the tips and DIYS! The VW bus pen/marker holder is adorable!
Lots of great inspo. I could use so much of the stuff from IKEA as well. You have a very nice, clean set up. Great video, thanks.
Beautiful organization system..🤍🤍🤍🤍🩵🩵👌👌
Thank you very much you’re an inspiration to help me crate storage ideas for small spaces around my home.❤
I love your DIY crafting space

Still praying for y'all.

What cabinet did you add over the existing pantry. Love your craft room. Wish I could do something similar. Thanks.
Wmyoy are so gifted, everything is awesome 😊
Love your videos, you drew me in with the pastel color craft room!!! Love Love Love
🩷🧡💛💚🩵💜
Omg mom craft room is beautiful!
I like the cork trivet pockets. we got those to use for the kitchen or mini pin boards, but I like your pocket idea. how did you adhere the fabric to the cork?
Another inspirational video Shannon! On my way to IKEA right now! 🎆
Enjoy your trip! Have some Swedish Meatballs for me!
I love this stuff from IKEA. We don't have one near MS.
Great stuff you got. Im all about organizing as well. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Love the pantry-idea for small space!
Is there a more detailed video on the pantry build?
I have the same kitchen island in my studio and I love it! What wheels did you use on yours?
Love to hear you love yours too!! Here’s the link to the wheels: amzn.to/3Lf61WF

I am the same way! Sorry you are so far from some! I've linked some amazon options too. I appreciate the returns are easy if you have prime
@@TheDailyDIYer Yes, indeed, I have Amazon prime. Always good options, thank you.

The closest Ikea to me is a 12 hour drive away! I spend minimum 4 hours when I do get to go visit an Ikea store.
Girl, I'm in the same boat. Literally have to drive 4 hrs SW to Portland OR, or 4.5 hrs NW to Renton WA.
Great organization ideas. Blessings 😊 🙏
Great video, what wheels did you use for the tornviken ikea island?
Fantastic organization tips.
Hi- thanks for the video & tips. Can you tell me where you got the castors for the kitchen island? Do you use the same casters that they have for the Alex drawers?
Absolutely beautiful spaces! Makes me feel very poor but pleasant to look at and fantasize about haha

Such helpful organization tips. Thank you.

Of course we’re still watching! 👍👍👍
Loved your vid. Where did you get the rug for your mom’s craft room?
Thanks! Rug is from the At Home store ❤️
Love them all! I love idea need to go back
Have fun on your next trip!
I LOVE the font of your vinyl labels ❤
I love all this! Such an inspiration! ❤❤
Omg you have the Athena drill... Would you purchase it again?
I love IKEA.
The little purple truck oh my gosh so cute.
Thanks!
LUCKY YOU SHANNON!😮😊
Fun drinking game: drink every time Shannon says IKEA. Lol. Loved all the incredible organizational hacks in this video.
Love me some IKEA
@@TheDailyDIYer I've never been to one.
GREAT ideas, tfs❤
Awesome video, thank you!
Nice organization when you have an extra a few grand on hand.
Awesome ideas. ❤
Question: Food mixes, like the pancake mix, do you keep the cooking instructions? How do you know how much to use and what to mix it with?
Thank you!
I eyeball the pancake mix to water ratio. No directions needed.
Wish I had a Ikea close to me too!
I wish IKEA would ship, but when I looked a few months ago I didn’t see that option, just pick up. Closest IKEA is probably Colorado! Great ideas!
I so wish we had an ikea where I live. They have so much to offer but unfortunately we don’t but love watching what u do.

I don't think I have any IKEA stores near me, but I'm going to find out!
What does your mom use those file folders for? Paper?
I am moving to a new house with a LARGE area for my craft room/growing business and was wondering if you would like to come to South Carolina and help me organize it!!😊 I need your skills! You are so talented!
What are the jars with crumbs and pancake mix?
Wish we had an Ikea near us..😢
I wish they were near everyone too!
Great video Shannon .. thank you! Do you hire out? lol 🥰
Thanks lol!! If I ever finish our home I’ll let you know 😆❤️
What kind of wall do you have? Is that bead board or slat wall?
It's shiplap
Nearest IKEA for me in NC is in Charlotte which is too far for me in Thomasville.
I live in southeast Texas. No IKEA where I live. Wish there was one here.
Where did you get that cute vw bus??
Etsy
Could you please tell me the measurement for your pantry thin door.
Where do you keep leftovers of pasta? I mean, when you buy penne in a big package (because of less carbon trace) they can't fill all in this beautiful jar...
Where are the pax dupes from?
Menards or Amazon has them here: amzn.to/4cQb77E
Help, need help organizing my tea bags.

Looks well organised. Why do you use labels when you can see into the container ? Seems a bit pointless to me.
For when things run out and need restocked
You sound just like Ali Manno, from the bachelor 😂😂😂😂
Does IKEA ship?
I have had the drawer towers sent to me, but shipping is expensive
❤❤❤
I just need to barrow your brain for 1 weekend to get my craft area organized!😂
