Update one year later. This is the BEST shaving video I’ve watched. I tried it and my skin was so smooth. No bumps, ingrowns, cuts or strawberry legs. I tried other methods just to find what’s best for me and let me tell you, I got strawberry legs 😱. I went back to this video and it is the best. The only thing I would say is exfoliate before you start.

Hey Jessie, I'm male and I choose to keep my "down there" completely smooth too for exactly the same reason as you - I just don't like body hair, especially pubic hair. So I've been shaving down there for 30+ years and developed my own routine & method after much trial and error. I shave 3 times a week, Mons, Weds, & Fridays - any more often I find the risk of skin damage (razor rash etc) goes up exponentially. So what I wanted to tell you is that my shave routine for my down below area is EXACTLY as you described. It works! I'm lovely and smooth all the time (maybe a tiny bit stubbly by Sunday evenings LOL). The only things I use that's different from you is I use Witch Hazel, bought in a bottle from any pharmacy or even supermarket, applied with a cotton pad just after patting the area dry. This is because Witch Hazel acts as a natural antiseptic. And then just before I get dressed I rub in a small amount of Psuedo creme, which any parent will know prevents or treats nappy rash or any angry, sore or damage skin. I don't need to use it but it acts as a "final make sure" preventative of razor rash.

Teresa Brown tip I learned is to add a bit of essentials oils. I like peppermint because it cools u down but you can use tea tree, lavender, etc. It also can prevent skin irritations and it smells way better lol
nooo! I did some research with olive oil, I watched "the doctors" review on it (Hack or Wack). A dermatologist came and said oil clogs your pores. You definitely do not want to use olive oil. If you don't believe me, look it up on RUclips, type "The Doctors: Shaving down there with olive oil."(I'm copying and pasting this on every comment about oil. Oil clogs your pores. Don't do it. Shaving cream or waxing strips are the best solutions)

Alright so I've been shaving down there for quite a long time and i could never ever get a nice smooth shave without any razor burn or bumps so i decided to follow this video's advice and let me tell you,it WORKS. The only part i didn't do is get the men's razor since I couldn't afford it, so i used my disposable ones, but it still did a pretty good job with the olive oil and stuff. Beautiful, smooth shave with no irritation 😍
I use coconut oil, they even have it in a spray! It can be messy and definitely use caution. I've slipped a few times, and the oil leaves a greasy residue, bath or shower, make sure you run super hot water and rinse it thoroughly. It's amazing for legs also! When I neglect buying it For even a week I can feel and see the difference. It moisturizes better than anything, your skin appears tone and leaves a "glowing within" appearance. For the razor bump/rash, victims you may not get the closest shave but shaving upwards is the worse thing you can do to your skin, vagina or legs, whatever, its possible to even get staphylococcus and MERSA from the smallest nick. SHIT RAZORS: Personally I prefer a men's razor, ride or die. Personally I like to have separate razors for separate areas. I choose to use the best razor I have for my legs and under arms so I get the smoothest shave and less of a shadow especially under my arms, it's a struggle I still haven't mastered, not even close. As for lady downstairs, sensitive blades... Or hair removing cream cause that shits is godly ( ridiculous to try and use for my underarms tho, ain't that the Pitts). I once kept a single razor ( same blades same head ) for close to a year. Believe it or not, it looked new straight up till the end. Coconut oil killed it, I purchased a cheaper brand which was a thick greasy paste and that shit never came off, I was unsure at first if it was skin or what I was so appalled. After every stroke I would clean the blades by knocking the head against my shower wall removing loose hair, every stroke or every other whatever, as long as you knock out the excess. After your done take your razor out with you, it needs to dry just as much as you. I think that's about all I can add to this extremely important information given in the video. I'm currently melting off my spray tan so appreciate the time I spent naked sitting in water just to type this out for you bitches.
I use cheap coconut oil. I can get a jar of organic coconut oil for around $4 - $5 from aldi. I always keep a jar in my bathroom to shave everything with and it is awesome for removing eye makeup.

I wait about 2 days cause if you let it grow out just a little it will shave smoother. Especially if you have razor burns from a previous shave, because you need to give time for them for some what heal. If you shave the next day you will definitely cute your self.
Shaving traumatized me, I got hair ingrown and cuts, and itchy when they grow back. Never wanted to shave again. I just trim them short, always. But this video proved me I did it the wrong way. I do wonder why the blades are different. Teresa Brown tip I learned is to add a bit of essentials oils. I like peppermint because it cools u down but you can use tea tree, lavender, etc. It also can prevent skin irritations and it smells way better lol
nooo! I did some research with olive oil, I watched "the doctors" review on it (Hack or Wack). A dermatologist came and said oil clogs your pores. You definitely do not want to use olive oil. If you don't believe me, look it up on RUclips, type "The Doctors: Shaving down there with olive oil."(I'm copying and pasting this on every comment about oil. Oil clogs your pores. Don't do it. Shaving cream or waxing strips are the best solutions)

Alright so I've been shaving down there for quite a long time and i could never ever get a nice smooth shave without any razor burn or bumps so i decided to follow this video's advice and let me tell you,it WORKS. The only part i didn't do is get the men's razor since I couldn't afford it, so i used my disposable ones, but it still did a pretty good job with the olive oil and stuff. Beautiful, smooth shave with no irritation 😍
I use coconut oil, they even have it in a spray! It can be messy and definitely use caution. I've slipped a few times, and the oil leaves a greasy residue, bath or shower, make sure you run super hot water and rinse it thoroughly. It's amazing for legs also! When I neglect buying it For even a week I can feel and see the difference. It moisturizes better than anything, your skin appears tone and leaves a "glowing within" appearance.
For the razor bump/rash, victims you may not get the closest shave but shaving upwards is the worse thing you can do to your skin, vagina or legs, whatever, its possible to even get staphylococcus and MERSA from the smallest nick.
SHIT RAZORS: Personally I prefer a men's razor, ride or die. Personally I like to have separate razors for separate areas. I choose to use the best razor I have for my legs and under arms so I get the smoothest shave and less of a shadow especially under my arms, it's a struggle I still haven't mastered, not even close. As for lady downstairs, sensitive blades... Or hair removing cream cause that shits is godly ( ridiculous to try and use for my underarms tho, ain't that the Pitts).
I once kept a single razor ( same blades same head ) for close to a year. Believe it or not, it looked new straight up till the end. Coconut oil killed it, I purchased a cheaper brand which was a thick greasy paste and that shit never came off, I was unsure at first if it was skin or what I was so appalled. After every stroke I would clean the blades by knocking the head against my shower wall removing loose hair, every stroke or every other whatever, as long as you knock out the excess. After your done take your razor out with you, it needs to dry just as much as you.
I think that's about all I can add to this extremely important information given in the video. I'm currently melting off my spray tan so appreciate the time I spent naked sitting in water just to type this out for you bitches.

I use cheap coconut oil. I can get a jar of organic coconut oil for around $4 - $5 from aldi. I always keep a jar in my bathroom to shave everything with and it is awesome for removing eye makeup.
