Same! Also it's winter where I am now so like... >.> I need all the leg hair for warmth, obviously. But yeah I don't shave my upper leg because they're just like... the same type of hair as my arm hair. If I started shaving that, then I'd have to start shaving my arm hair, and then if I started shaving my arm hair I'd have to start shaving my moustache.... And if I start shaving my moustache, I'd have to start plucking my eyebrows... etc
Maybe we should just love ourselves and do what makes us happy. Some women love pampering themselves and havjng spa days, wearing makeup and etc. Some men also are very into that. But if people don't like to do it just don't, do what makes you happy 🤷🏽♀️
Nathalia there is a difference between pampering themselves and constantly catering to society by removing things that naturally grow on our bodies. The constant pressure from magazines, tv, billboards and now youtube videos is crippling. Loving yourself and accepting your body the way it is is a rebellious act these days.
@@anothereero well of course, i disagree with things that are just too much and are harmful for our bodies. Some people go too far, but that is not what i am talking about, i Don't mean those kardashians and shit, i just mean that of someone wants to take a day to treat themselves like a spa day, or treat their bodies like they deserve(since we only have one and we should take care of it) it is fine if they feel good about it. @@bellachinos2348 Oh absolutely! Essentially all redness was gone by the second use. Only redness from ingrown hairs every once in a while. This is a routine i will swear by until I die
Why is everyone at war in the comments? Like Audrey is just trying to help girls who are insecure about their strawberry legs, she isnt doing anything wrong. Also people in the comments are you don’t need to do this, but if you choose to do this this than that’s your choice it isn’t anyone else’s.
I appreciate this video from the perspective of someone who rarely rids themself of leg hair but developed strawberry-ish legs a few years ago following some BAD skin habits, and randos gotta point it out to me. People observe my legs and make loud comments about the swollen pores and it's just SO annoying. Like if there's an exfoliant out there that will help minimize the redness and lessen the attention, I'd LOVE to find out about it.
Don’t be discouraged if your strawberry legs are caused by dark hair follicles. I have this issue and none of this works for me. I’ve been getting laser hair treatments and that’s starting to lighten my hair follicles.
hey! i actually have an AMAZING at home remedy . all you need is tumeric and honey . or you can do one with lemon and baking soda . they both work great. the tumeric one does leave the yellow stain but you can use a toner to remove it. you can leave it on for like 15-30 mins and do it like once every week or once every two weeks depending on how dark yours are
I’m really insecure about it. I can’t wear shorts In public without feeling insecure because I don’t have the skinniest legs and I have strawberry skin. So yeah that’s great :( and I can exactly afford everything to get rid of this

I rarely comment but It had to be done. This didn’t “cure” the look but OMG my legs look so much better! And talk about smooth! I’m going to continue the process. I can’t wait to see the results after a routine. Thank you honey! (I tried it first then ran back to RUclips to subscribe)
I used to be so insecure about those too but those things make us human and I promise no one notices those as much as ourselves! I had a full on beard in between electrolysis appointments and felt like a man...my family couldn’t tell until they were 5 cm from my face ahahah
I've noticed the older I get the less I care about all those things! ( I also have dark underarms and a hairy back lol) I don't even shave my legs all that much but I just don't really mind it tbh. I shave when I feel like it lol
Dont forget our health and well being! That is also another thing I have to worry about...and my pimple/acne scars... Sigh... I don't have kids yet, but already I have many things on my plate as is
For me it is cause its like I'm either going to a wedding or church and then I'm always wearing short dresses and I mean I love dresses and stuff but like I just feel weird showing my legs every single second
I agree. My dad had it and I had it since i was born so i didnt even know "strawberry legs" was a thing. For me its just genetic darker pores. This just looks like people are looking for problems to "solve".
@@BlackOreoCookie I think alot of people are more obsessed with looks now because of social media. The thing I like about it is with RUclips I think people just enjoy sharing their little tips and tricks that some women have been doing for years but before now the rest of us would never know.
One thing that has helped reduce the after-shave itching for me is shaving in the direction of hair growth. So shave from up to down towards the feet and not the other way around. I am surprised that no one (including this video) says that; I have found this to be very effective!
Yes exfoliating your legs before shaving is a definite must... I've been doing that for a hundred years and it works. Also try not to shave too often. Any yes...I use conditioner instead of shaving cream. Definately good advice of this video Oh and men could use conditioner on their face hair too before shaving.
J C T Honestly the best way to get rid of strawberry legs is with laser hair removal! Don’t be sold these lies yes to some extent it helps but not that much, I know this from experience, I suffered from strawberry legs and folliculitis for the longest and did everything she said or more to get rid of it but after every form of hair removal the end result was the same, it never improved, laser hair did the trick for me, besides a lot of “gurus” on here don’t even show you their hairy legs or problematic skin, because they don’t have any.
To anyone who needs to hear this your femininity is not based in your hairlessness, lack of cellulite, hip dips, breast size or any physical attribute. I love the concept behind videos showing womxn how they empower themselves and what makes them feel good, but I felt like it needed to be said that if shaving make you feel beautiful then shave, but know that if it doesn’t that’s okay too, you are absolutely perfect however you are and the body shaming complex thrives off of us hating ourselves and we need to dismantle the system💛
I highly recommend getting rid of your shaving creams. I shave with oil, exfoliate with either coffee scrub or exfoliant gloves (one of the greatest inventions). I've seen a major difference; shaving takes me 10 to 15 minutes !
Depends I guess the result would be a little bit slower and you would need to be consistent, but still strawberry legs isn't ugly and you don't have to feel entitled to force yourself to do it when you don't want to :)
Fuck that. Wear your shorts strawberry legs be damned. You are so much more than your body and your body is so much more than how your skin looks. Life's too short to be ashamed of our skin
Also avoid skinny jeans or other types of tight fitting pants. This makes it so leg hair is likely to bunch up under the skin, causing some of these bumps
It’s crazy to me how girls really go through so much boys don’t even know the half of it / strawberry legs razor bumps on the lady parts dark armpits and bikini line periods birth I can go on and on
I had no idea my legs were any different from anyone else's UNTIL my Aunt's friend pointed at my legs and said, "Omg! You are so pale, you can see your hair follicles!" Of course it gave my 13 yr old self a huge complex. So that's what I thought it was all my life...that my paleness was why I had those little dots. Now, at almost 40, I find out I have Strawberry legs and I could "fix" it. I'm totally going to try this. Thanks girl!!
NovaKnowsBeauty Yes, but you dont need to be light at all for them to be super noticeable. The Thicker/more course your hair is, the more obvious too. People brown skin and course body hair are more susceptible to this.
@@Beaneabean I didn't say that you needed to be light. Yes, it can happen to anyone. Even though our head hair is not necessarily an indicator of the texture of our body hair (fine head hair can have coarse body hair... very thick head hair can have soft, downy body hair, blondes can have very dark body hair, so on and so on) it's not a competition. I was responding to the original comment and her particular circumstance.
💥💥Just a heads up ladies! Its actually very dangerous to shave with a rusty razor. There has been documented deaths specifically from woman shaving with rusty razors and nicked their leg and the rust got into the blood stream and caused blood toxicity!!! (Go ahead and fact check me) Take care of yourselves beauties!🦵❤😘
You said we could fact check, so I did a search and found nothing about people dying from rust in the bloodstream. If you're in some way thinking rust is going to cause tetanus, that's a misconception. Tetanus is caused by BACTERIA. If the bacteria is not there, it's just rust, you can't get tetanus. You could share some links backing up your claim that the deaths are documented.

It's working for me. I've struggled with this for years. I started using pfb vanish + chromabright beforehand, and this video has sped up the healing process, and my skin is so much softer. For me, the Dove soap and oil combo and not scrubbing with a loofah/puff has made things so much better. Even though I have some, I haven't used my sugar scrubs yet because the pfb requires that you not use any additional exfoliation.

I am 44 years old and you are the first person I've found to actually figure this out. Ask any type of doc, they laugh at how it shouldn't be a big deal. I have researched and tried but nothing helped... because it was almost all exactly the opposite of your techniques. Can't wait to try this. Yay!
Fantastic advice! I got the scrub today and tried your technique for the first time tonight. My legs look and feel so much better. I didn’t realize how dry my legs were until I watched your video. Thank uuuuuu! 💓
Tip for itchiness after shaving. Try shaving the direction the hair grows, so shave downwards instead of up, this helps me. My husband found this tip because he shaves his body and found it unbearable when it regrew. This completely helped both of us. I think its something to do with shaving the opposite direction to hairgrowth can cause the hairs to grow back in funny directions poking the skin more.
YOU GUYS- listen to queen audrey. i’m going to be honest, because my skin tone is naturally a darker tan, my strawberry legs weren’t that visible. but HOLY. i completely changed my routine that corresponds to Audreys, and guys my legs look hella amazing. like wow. i no longer have strawberry legs at all, and my legs are silky smooth/ soft to the touch. they are so shiny too 😻
The struggle is real. To the point that I got such itchy skin on my legs, that I could only wear loose sweatpants, no leggings or jeans. I found a body lotion with shea butter in it, and it helps, but I'm going to try your routine. Thank you for sharing!
Hey, I've recently been having this problem (like over the past 4 months) and have tried a lot of things to get rid of the itchiness. I'm no longer at the point where I'm in bed crying and scratching my skin till it bleeds from a shower. And I've tried chemical exfoliates and physical exfoliates. I've changed my water from hard to soft and it worked where I could get ou of the shower and not itch. But the day after it started back. I have also started to soak and that has helped so much but after I have to finish off with a shower and lather my skin with my hands and rub countless times before going back with a loofah to get the dirt off. Some times I am still prickly but I've stopped wearing stuff that fits me due to it. Could you tell me a bit more about your experience? I also plan to try this above cause I also have strawberry legs but could help get rid of excess dirt on my legs and arms. I hope that you see this. I really need advice from someone who has been through this.
It’s nice to see someone understand what I’ve had to deal with! I finally found my own routine (fairly similar) that helps my strawberry legs and they’re so much better but I always thought I was alone when I was younger. Great video to help our kind 💁♀️
you only have to shave once a week??? 😭😭😭 i cant even have smooth legs for one day, if i shave in the morning, hair is back by the afternoon like a 5 oclock effing shadow
My fave tip for all ladies: After showers and especially after I shave, I always use Johnson’s baby oil gel, and then put my lotion of choice on top. Makes it super soft, keeps the lotion smell longer, and is just so moisturizing.
Hi girl , love the tip but idk or Johnson’s baby oil is the same as the baby oil gel but if it is I recommend using another brand! Johnson’s baby oil isn’t good for the skin overtime due to harmful products . I use baby oil aswell but I love the brand Zwitsal but I live in The Netherlands so maybe it isn’t a mainstream brand where you live ( here they use Zwitsal everything for babies😂)
If you want to get rid of strawberry skin there is another method i find it helpful and is by exfoliating the skin with body scrub made with sugar mixed with lemon juice and oil (any type of oil will do) And then after scrubbing the legs and shaving you use a medicament here in Europe its called “Bivacyn” its like a paste especially for small “wounds” and infections. And after applying that your legs will heal and they will be all nice and clean. ☺️
honestly I know this is an annoying process and its a pain to get in the shower and do this routine but after I feel so much better and if I do it at night it makes me want to go to sleep earlier which is amazing. Trying to improve my mental health by looking after my body and its kinda working ngl
omg I always scratched my legs to remove the dead skin and in this winter my skin became dry and this made it worse i was saving this video for like a five months now i just do what you said for three days and it's already getting so much better thank you so much to share it with us 💕💕
Thank you for this. Just changing the order in which I do my regimen worked for me. Simply washing and exfoliating before shaving has helped majorly. I did change to a gentle cleanser. I realized, treat your legs like your face! Huge difference and it’s only been a week.

One thing that has helped reduce the after-shave itching for me is shaving in the direction of hair growth. So shave from up to down towards the feet and not the other way around. I am surprised that no one (including this video) says that; I have found this to be very effective!
I do this too !
This is literally the only thing that helps, not all these gimmicks. Tanning also reduced the look.
What, how does that even work? I tried doing this but no hair was removed
@@aizuni 😂how? Shaving in ANY direction removes hair 🙄

J C T Honestly the best way to get rid of strawberry legs is with laser hair removal! I think its something to do with shaving the opposite direction to hairgrowth can cause the hairs to grow back in funny directions poking the skin more.

I love that you said “not that it matters what guys thinks” 😍 period sis, I’m trying to fix my legs for ME
It’s nice to see someone understand what I’ve had to deal with! I finally found my own routine (fairly similar) that helps my strawberry legs and they’re so much better but I always thought I was alone when I was younger. Great video to help our kind 💁♀️
Hi! Can you share your routine please 🙂
this is the most concrete and healthy tip-giving, legs-related video i have ever watched. 👌
4:20 “ dude her legs are so pretty and soft looking holy shit” I said it out loud and my mom was confused but now she thinks I have a leg fetish🤣😭
thank you@@
you only have to shave once a week??? 😭😭😭 i cant even have smooth legs for one day, if i shave in the morning, hair is back by the afternoon like a 5 oclock effing shadow
Wow, I thought I was the only one 🥺
Same. And super thick little suckers too.
same here my hair grows back so fast
@@unachica7162 and dark... I hate it😩
😂😂😂😂
My fave tip for all ladies:
After showers and especially after I shave, I always use Johnson’s baby oil gel, and then put my lotion of choice on top.
If you want to get rid of strawberry skin there is another method i find it helpful and is by exfoliating the skin with body scrub made with sugar mixed with lemon juice and oil (any type of oil will do)
And then after scrubbing the legs and shaving you use a medicament here in Europe its called “Bivacyn” its like a paste especially for small “wounds” and infections. And after applying that your legs will heal and they will be all nice and clean. ☺️
And strawberry legs will diseappear in one day ? 😳
이태용Limitless No, it takes time to heal and of course for me the other day my legs looks clean and healed! 🙂
Homegirls skin is GOALS!! If only my extremely fair/sensitive/scarred skin could look like that 🥰 Thanks for sharing your advice with us!
honestly I know this is an annoying process and its a pain to get in the shower and do this routine but after I feel so much better and if I do it at night it makes me want to go to sleep earlier which is amazing. Trying to improve my mental health by looking after my body and its kinda working ngl
omg I always scratched my legs to remove the dead skin and in this winter my skin became dry and this made it worse
i was saving this video for like a five months now i just do what you said for three days and it's already getting so much better
thank you so much to share it with us 💕💕
Thank you for this. Just changing the order in which I do my regimen worked for me. Simply washing and exfoliating before shaving has helped majorly. I did change to a gentle cleanser. I realized, treat your legs like your face! Huge difference and it’s only been a week.
