I sure hope Ram doesn’t go out of business. I don’t wish for any business to fail. Ram makes great products and I appreciate the competition amongst brands and the resulting choices we get to make.

Ram had always offered large incentives but changed for a bit and people just waited them out for it to come back. Jeep and Ram are really what funded all the profits for Stellantis for a long time.
I like Ram trucks, I have had 5 Eco-diesels with no problems. They have killed the 1500 diesel, Hemi V8 and now have a straight 6 engine that requires premium fuel and is rated at 21 MPG! What strategy is that. GM still has V8’s and 1500 diesels.
That’s awesome Tim great vid. Imagine, someone reporting the actual situation rather than “the sky is falling”. We will have to see in the next 2 years how the new truck performs for RAM.
Claiming Stellantis will go bankrupt anytime soon is premature… but buying a truck you’ll sell in a year doesn’t really prove any confidence in the brand either!
And GMs base engine for a full size is a 4cyl. A 4cyl! Ford's primary truck engines are all turbo sixes and have been for over 10 years. They're both big enough to have those V8s as an option as well. Ram is not. Neither is Toyota.

Just read a story about Stellantis and their financial position. They are predicting free cash flow for the year to be negative $5.6-$11.2 billion. Earlier this year they had predicted positive free cash flow. They’ve cut production and increased incentives just to clear excess inventory. They can’t really compete in China, which will probably be the same situation for most US car makers. China’s manufacturers can sell vehicles much cheaper than the US automakers plus EV sales are huge over there. We know Dodge & Ram have no EV’s to sell. The best thing going for Ram is the ZF Powerline 8-speed transmission being used with the Cummins diesels in 2025. Of course, if the Ram 2500 were to have the ISB 4.5 4cyl, sales would be better too! As a Ram 1500 Ecodiesel owner, the Cummins ISB 4.5 would have been a better option. My wife has a Ram 2500 with the 6.7L Cummins beast motor. I also had one. Worked great. The only truck with the auto start that never hesitates at the stop lights.
eTorque yeah is proven to be extremely reliable in all ram trucks, and I've had several myself...
@@RAM-KINGOFTRUCKS - haha, 3 years, on a lease deal, I'll bet. In that case, I'd take one with eTorque too, cause it wouldn't cost me anything under warranty. But for me, I'm a long-term buyer. The eTorque is one of those things that doesn't bode well for a long-term owner like me. We will see how it plays out, but I am betting that eTorque will become disliked by many owners....... thanks for the reply
@@ChevySS1968 Many Rams well over 150 thousand miles... no issues ..
STOP PRODUCING UNRELIABLE $100K TRUCKS...
They aren't unreliable. The Ram 1500 was the most reliable full size truck for the past 2 years, both in Consumer Reports reliability which gets data from thousands of vehicle owners and JD power dependability. In fact Ram was the most reliable brand as a whole in 2023.
The last two years…. Haha. Let us know how they hold up 5+ years down the road. They’re junk. Don’t listen to JD power. You can’t base a trucks reliability off of one summer of driving…. 😂
Just think 100k for a friggin 4 door grocery getter. That’s what most people use them for. Insane when you think about it!
@pajamatime5750 GM V8s have the same lifter issues the Hemi does. The reason it's the last 2 years is because RAM significantly improved the quality of their trucks in 2022. GM trucks have been a perennial bottom feeder in reliability reports.
@@PlayWaves1- Ha! Mine sure was a big fat turd! FCA bought it back. A few weeks ago, our car was on the shop & I was given a nearly new Jeep Wagoneer rental that had a check engine light that kept going off & on. Enterprise said they have had the vehicle to the dealer 3 times & couldn’t find the problem! Junk!
But "chicken-little" videos get clicks! Good to see you still have journalistic integrity and don't just spew hyperbole.
Stellantis has never been profitable in the US because they don't listen to their customers. The French way of doing business in the US just does not work
Nobody is going bankrupt
Yes im worried reading Ram owners being really pissed off about the Hemi being gone.. that is the bread and butter customers mad as hell AND how about us Dakota fans Waiting 13 Flippin Years AND COUNTING for a New Dakota??????, bye bye
I've owned three hemis and I'm ready for something new. Why not a I6?
Governments think there going to save the world twin turbos not changing anything. What chose due u have if u need a truck when in rome
Dude they just fired their CFO, and formally said CEO is out of a job now. It is clear to most but you. Get with it.
You aren't getting your pickup truck, buy a Toyota cyborg instead. Jeep and FIAT aren't selling their hybrids, the SST inline turbo would kick sales for Wrangler and Cherokee
Tim,those are terrible numbers compared to their competitors. The ram truck as you know it will be gone over the next 5-10 years. The Stellantis CEO and its leadership team are going to be telling its customers what they will like as a vehicle in the US, not what the customers want.
I'm sure even you don't think that most "journalists" like facts. :)
I learned nothing here today ,..
Ram is NOT the issue but Stellantis is and WILL go bankrupt by the middle of next year!!
all the money wasted ,engineering on the demon 170 engine a new V8 could have been developed do like the 3.0 super charger whine no need for a 18 speaker sound system with trunk sub woofer
Thank you for this. It makes sense.
Dude, sunscreen!
Embarrassed; he ordered one, Oh No!
Twin turbos are garbage for towing. I blame the epa for ruining cars. I’ll be buying old diesels before buying another new truck. New rams are junk
Blown head gaskets? That's a new one.
Untamed motors can’t comprehend this concept.
YEA well Studebaker used to sell Trucks as well. AND yes if I were you I would be worried. A new reasonable swing is occurring, and Cafe and Euro rules written by incompetent biased fools will be amended or re-written, AS merit trumps identity. That little ev thingy aint going to well is it THOUGH like I said soon you can get a tesla for 20 bucks a month and keep the real vehicle (Truck with a MANUAL) and use the ev as it was intended a toy but a useful toy.
People make those posts and videos are just doing it for clicks. Like everything in society right now people love to see and celebrate others failures.
No gear shift lever option for 2025. Now all have the crappy volume knob gear shifter 👎
The RHO has a gear shifter.
So you have one?
Bought a 2024 f150 and it’s junk looking to get a ram next
We know who's paying Timmy boy🤣🤣🤣🤣
My neighbor growing up always told me only fat guys and tools drive dodge.
Call it a ram but its a dodge. And the more I see the mopar folk, the more i understand.
I am saying you fit the stereotype.
Thanks for watching!
Let me guess...a Ram owner stole your girlfriend and now she won't talk to you. Don't worry, as soon as you get your Ford back from the latest recall, you can try to chase them down.
Way too much money for RHO don’t be taken 😂? I paid 150,000 Canadian for a TRX and have 3 years warranty left full load front to back and paid cash for it so don’t need something less 😂😂😂😂😂
I like when you talk about trucks, but your Stellantis cope is hard to watch.
Cope?
