Pantera is the group I literally grew up listening to. It's nice to see a new generation listening and understanding what it's all about. It's been fun watching your reactions toartists I have always loved and respected. Maybe there is some hope for the younger audiences and artists coming forward.
I got to see them twice when I was in high school. The first time I saw them I was a skinny little kid and so nervous about getting clobbered by all of the heshers, so I hung back at first. Walk was the first song they played and as soon as I heard that riff it sucked me to the front like a tractor beam. The nerves were gone and I felt tough, lol. I stayed up front the entire time and as rowdy as people get, they look out for each other. If you get knocked down somebody always helps you back up. I even caught Dimes beer when he threw it out and finished it, I caught one of his picks later and my buddy got Vinnies sticks. Good times.
