It was so cool, that they live streamed his funeral, because everyone in his family and friends had interesting and touching stories to tell, that really showed, what a cool and good man he really was. Hell even his bootmaker was invited and had stories to tell. Rest in Peace Lemmy, you will forever be in our metalhead memories...
I had the pleasure of drinking with Lemmy for a few hours in '98. I never mentioned I was a fan or that I knew who he was. I was on Navy liberty. We talked about WWII, the Beatles, drinks we like, and food. It all started with with my father being from Ireland, and he over heard it..
I am not the fanboy type, but i probably woulda been scrambling to pour his drinks until i passed out under his chair in a puddle of both our piss... honestly tho, i have never heard a bad thing about the man... by all accounts he woulda been the one to serve em up, pay the bill and ask you to come over to chill, one of the very few "celebs" i wish i woulda met

I had the privilege of being his friend for more than 20 years. One of my early conversations with him was obviously about music and i asked him how did he feel about being called "The father of Thrash Metal" He said: "If you listen close and pay attention to the music you´ll understand it´s Rock and Roll and not Metal." I was shocked, he passes a beer and goes "Seriously, my music comes directly from Elvis". That was quite a mind opener and the begginng of many many stories... RIP brother
I hope you heard how Lemmy got started? My friend used to be DJ in the pubs and clubs in Blackpool, Lancs. he badgered the Landlord, to let this new Rock band play, luckily, it happened, and that's how Motorhead was born...Nowadays, at the Waterloo Hotel they still have bands doing gigs there..Best watch out!!

Halloween111 Most of the earliest "metal"bands were, and are still, considered rock. It's more about people looking back and seeing where the sound started
I don't consider Motörhead as a metal band either, It's Rock N Roll. It's not remotely metal sounding. There's a difference, You start of with Jazz, then you got Blues, then you got Rock then you got Rock N Roll, Hard Rock and then Metal, I still don't consider Iron Maiden, or Metallica either as Metal, more like Hard Rock. I don't consider Evanescence metal either because it's a fucking Hard Rock/Rock Opera band.
The Major only reason why people say he is metal, is because the tamest pop bands with drums are considered rock. He even said in a documentary that “nowadays, Britney Spears is considered to be pop. She is getting fat though”. It’s rock, and it’s what the band says it is.

"The Dead Man's Hand" is referring to hand acquired during five-card-draw (can also be held/acquired playing hold 'em) consisting souly of aces and eights to make a "full house". I found your videos a couple weeks ago, and I've already watched all your metal reactions. They're so fun to watch. There was no one like Motorhead. I am so glad I was able to take my son to his first, but unfortunately, only Motorhead show in 2012. He bought us VIP passes and we got to have a quick chat with Mikkey Dee and watch the soundcheck. Motorhead was the band that got my son into loving music. He asked me if I had any Motorhead he could listen to so I gave him No Sleep 'til Hammersmith. 45 minutes later, he came rushing downstairs, all excited saying he knows what he wants to do, he wants to be in a band. He was 11/12 years old at the time. That's the power of great music. An album released years before he was born had such an impact on him. R.I.P. Motorhead, thanks to everyone who was a member of Motorhead for the great music.

Sabaton : PanzerKampf/Nuclear Attack/40:1/Aces in Exile and many many many many other awesome songs
Wintersun-Sons of winter and stars (Sonic Pump studios)
As most guitarists will tell you, one of the greatest solos ever.
As a bass player I have to say this is a dope ass reaction..
R.I.P Lemmy \m/
I saw them in Cardiff 2008. My ears were ringing for days. Awesome and as the student union hall isn't huge it felt like a really personal experience
Sabaton- To Hell And Back.
You'll love it.
waterblonk Sabaton is nothing compared to slayer metallica or miaden I think its not about the music but more about the voice/singing.
Unfortunately I have to disagree. Sabaton does real justice to most of their covers as well as their original songs. They give a bit of a darker tone to most of their covers.
I found your videos a couple weeks ago, and I've already watched all your metal reactions. They're so fun to watch. Since you've starting listening to metal I've started dabbling in the rap/hip hop side and it's not all what I thought and I even like some of what I hear. Anyway keep up the fire videos. You should check out Nightwish, they're one of my favorite bands. And if your looking for a song, check out I wish I had an angel, dark chest of wonders, or over the hills and far away. They wont disappoint.
Yes, it is dope. Bear in mind this was released in the late seventies. It was barred from the USA because they feared another " British Invasion ". This was top of the pops in the UK in 1977. They made more albums than any other hard rock / metal.....band
MACHINE HEAD- HALO 😇 (Album Version)
Clay Megaw Yes, i’d love to finally see someone react to the full version of Halo not just the 5 minute Video version which cuts the best parts of the song
Clay Megaw he is ready for it :) Live @ Sonisphere is an awesome version too
Alice in Chains - "Would?" Let's do it next! Awesome vid
Thanks, young brother, for doing a Motorhead song. Love reaction videos because it brings back what it was like to listen to old favorites for the first time.
Rammstein! bro!
Alexy Marzolla He would never have seen anything like that before 🤣
Moe Syzlak can't. Copyright.
TheUncagedRage0 They’re certain videos you have to use but you can do it. As evidenced by quite a few reaction videos on this site. They basically have to be pro shot vids or official concert vids
Bück dich !
He did du one on "Du Hast" - but you'll have to watch the actual video on another website.
Good evening. They were Motorhead. They played rock and roll.
Lemmy was criminally underrated as a bass player. One of the best!
MEGADETH - TORNADO OF SOULS
Motörhead - Hellraiser
"Ace of Spades" will always be "that one song from the Tony Hawk skateboarding game" to me😂😂
THPS3. I’d play the intro all the way through just because the song was fucking insane.
The 252 views are all mine.
Upon A Burning Body - Texas Blood Money
Lemmy is the best dude in the world!! no one will ever top him!
ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!
One of the greatest metal songs ever!
R.I.P. LEMMY!!! 😭🤘
Still asking for that "Old Heart Falls" from Katatonia reaction Alex! Lol
"in the end you'll always see the ace of spades" means everyone dies eventually. after all, is there a conclusion more natural than death? that line doesn't refer to the gambles themselves, just to life
Motorhead were so loud, people used to go to their gigs just to lose weight! They ended up half deaf for the rest of their lives but at least they looked better.
This drummer is PURE cocaine
Rafael Monteiro Phil "filthy animal" Taylor.
Not coke just speed
AMORPHIS - THE BEE 🐝
"But you can't make a metal song about the bee!" Amorphis begs to differ.. Straight 👂🍬.
Any Amorphis reaction would be cool! Great band.
Amorphis would be nice
Hellyeah
YES
sopwithsnoopy of corse its great its from Finland :)) but yeah its f*cking great band🤘🤘
You should check out Motörhead - "Overkill" live, it is INSANE! (I have it on their dvd entitled "Stagefright") R.I.P. LEMMY, PHIL & EDDIE, yes, all three from this lineup of the band have passed.
:0(

Atreyu1107 VG Im game!
St. Lemmy, The Patron Saint of Rock n' Roll! 'Nuff said.
LEMMY! Gone for now, in our heads forever! Think of how many bands looked up to Motörhead? So many bands took that style of metal and ran with it. The Genesis of Metal
All That Remains - Two weeks , Six or This Calling 😊💰😊
First Tho. 👏👍👏
Six!
Chiron!
SIX!!!
Casey P Hell yeah! That's prob my favorite song on Overcome 👍.
Volbeat - A Moment Forever
KaguM_W I’ve been waiting for some Volbeat. I was thinking A Warriors Call but a moment forever has been stuck in my head all day so what do I know?
RIP Lemmy, it was a pleasure to meet you once. Such a gentleman and down to earth person when it comes to dealing with fans... Love you till the end Lemmy! \m/
Motorhead - the game
Mr. Crowley - Ozzy Osbourne
Just do it
Tinkertrain would be a better Ozzy choice.
RIGHT!? His voice is so awesome! So full of grit and badassness!
R.I.P. Lemmy
Please react to Tommy The Cat by Primus! Where are my fellow Primus fans?!
Natasha Lomov Great song. They are an amazing band. Seen them 7 times and used to live about 2 miles from Les
primus sucks
Either that or damn near any other primus song.
Wynona big brown beaver or my name is mud would be kewl too.
Wynona's Big Brown Beaver would get my vote
R.I.P. LEMMY
Dude you gotta react to "The Stage" by Avenged Sevenfold, yeah we want A Little Piece of Heaven with your girl, but in the meantime you could do this one on your own! I feel that you haven't heard the Avenged guys best stuff yet.
Alan León he has and we kept requesting A little pieace of heaven for the fucking longest and he hasn't done shit so... 😒
Rest In Peace Lemmy. One of the greatest frontmen to take the stage.
ZZTOP - SHARP DRESSED MAN
Do "The Game" from MOTORHEAD, HHH's theme song
I'm SUCH a mark for that song
This song was a metaphor for life. Life is a gamble, be it low stakes like crossing a road or high stakes like getting married. It all ends the same way. Great song. Great choice Alex, from a metal head, rap loving, classical music reveling mix up of musical confusion!
Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell
I think the same !!
It would be profanation.
