Yeah Rick, I'm sorry that you teach English too. I don't care if you're an English prof at Oxford it's the same spelling and sound when spoken as a rhyming couplet. So get the fuck over it, Ozzy rhymed masses and masses. Nobody said they had the same definition. That's pedantry mixed with sophistry pal. NachoFast said it was a rhyming issue, not a definition issue. Step away from the straw man.

I actually believe Johnny Cash was the original metal. Distort the guitars and speed it up slightly and it's metal af. He's a man dresses in black singing about drugs and violence with triplets and solos throughout. His voice was low like in metal. He just had only country to base it off of so it has that vibe and classification. Johnny Cash is where metal began. Sabbath created a conflagration from the spark. That's what I believe anyways. Ozzy is in his own league though.

Wrong, Johny Cash was actually a mix of country and blues, but had some rock combined too . (Or at least some beta version) Rock's roots actually go far as back as the 40's, 30's, and even the 20's ! The invention of electric guitars and distortion heavily contributed to the evolution of rock . Rock turned into the rock we know today during the 70's and 80's . The Beatles and many more contributed to the formation of popular music and rock as we know it .
Sorry about this. I'm kinda a music nerd.

without question my least favorite Zeppelin tune. So repetitive and boring in my opinion. I love Zep, but that song bores that crap out of me. The station gets changed if it comes on the radio. If you're going to do Zeppelin, there are so many better songs to review.

You get so used to a song being a "metal classic" (which this certainly is) that you don't realise that it actually does have some very funky parts, and exceptionally jazzy drumming. Not just wall-to-wall metal. Iommi's guitar parts sound like the end of the world though. Amazing.

Deathcore done right! Incredible song with a big message! Highly recommend checking it out just because of the message!
Animals As Leaders - The Brain Dance
It’s a 3 man instrumental band, they’re all absolute fantastic musicians! The song is beautiful, would recommend the 7 min version.

I've been binge watching your vids all morning and was literally just thinking I wish you'd react to War Pigs because it's my favorite Sabbath song... and 20 minutes later I see this pop up in the recommended videos right after I subscribed. I'm so happy right now lol. So, since I'm commenting on a video and literally never do that on RUclips, I gotta add my suggestion while I'm here... pleeeeease do Vermillion Pt. 1 & 2 by Slipknot (preferably in the same vid because they go together), and/or Snuff, that one's amazing too. And the videos for all three are incredible. You're awesome. That is all.

Was 8 yrs old when this album came out and heard it from one of my friend's brother. Saved my chore money for months to make it the first record I bought (lotta saving since ten cents a week wasn't a lot, even then!). Remains one of the most cherished records I own and am so happy to see that it still resonates strongly with "the new generations." A masterpiece.

i was 11 years old when i was introduced to sabbath, never looked back , Toni actually cut his speaker in his amp to get that grunge distortion that wasnt around yet. this band for sure paved the way to the heavy metal we hear today,
btw: this is only a 3 piece band, so yeah, their music jsut made sense.
