Love these videos. Everything Davide says about Salento is true! We bought a house there 12 years ago and loved it so much that 3 years ago we decided to give up our jobs in London and move there full time. No regrets at all ☀️🇮🇹
Hi Emma, thank you very much!! On days like today that the sky is bluer than blue, the only place you want to be is Salento!! Everyday I discover new towns, today I was in San Cesario di Lecce, and what an amazing town!! ❤️
Every building is an art piece!
My grandma lives there🥰 my friends also. Beautiful and silent, peacefully place!
A beautiful town in Salento 🙏☀️
Great video and music, must be "Epidemic sound"! Love the wine bottles with hearts on them behind you at the cafe! Can't wait for the next Walk through, cheers Davide!
What a lovely place Caffetteria Orsini!! I’m also looking forward to my next one 😉
Beautiful town!
Beautiful town Soleto! Beautiful video you have made! Compliments!
Yes, full of history and incredible buildings 🤩
I love these walk through videos, it's almost like being there myself and I'm learning so much about the history of Salento.
Can you believe it, I have just watched the video myself and has been a mixture of almost crying and laughter. May this be the beginning of a special journey!! Ludovica (video editor) has done a great job!!
@@salentowithlove3314 Great job indeed! :)
Hello my friend Davide. Soleto is beautiful. The bakery 🧁 is my favorite of all. I have a sweet tooth 🦷, have a cup of coffee ☕️ and dessert 🍨 with friends or by yourself. Love the history , the walls, the huge doors 🚪 you filmed , the church ⛪️ and the architecture. Yaw dropping. Don’t think 🤔 I could walk through out the small stairs. SOLETO is a place to visit a to get a property. Thanks again my friend for the amazing video. 🤩🙏🏼
Hello my super long distance friend! Caffetteria Orsini (Orsini del balzo, remember) was one of our main stops when I was visiting salento on holiday. Now a fantastic place to have a quick coffee and discover the town. Very big potential with this town, also very close to Galatina.
The little church is soo adorable. Beautiful town with incredible architecture! 👌🏼
We today travel the world to see the beautiful architecture of huge cities and we forget that in medieval times, these towns represented huge and powerful cities. Almost like a miniature painting the encapsulate an incredible amount of history, heritage and details.
Beautiful town
Absolutely 💯
Lovely. Thanks. And, surprises for the next town are most welcome
Hi Barbara, glad you enjoyed it, working on the next right now!
I can’t begin to tell you the joy these video tours bring me. Grazie Davide! L’Italia mi chiama
Se l’Italia chiama, Annamarie risponde ☺️
Thank you for your support, share the channel spread the love for Italia 💚🤍❤️
Ah, Davide, I always look forward to seeing/hearing what you have to share each week. The beauty of the towns and the mini-history lessons are always a joy. Thank you for sharing. It helps bide my time until I can visit in person. Ciao!
Thank you Lisa, I keep the history lesson light 😁 I love concentrating on what’s left.....
Thanks for sharing some relevant aspects of my hometown in English
Real Plesure!!
What a beautiful location.
So many incredible ones scattered across Salento ❤️
Wow what a beautiful town . Imagine owning a bit of history!
You’re right, imagine owning a piece of history
Well done! 👌
Thank you 🙏
Fantastic - I want to be there so much, I love it. Thanks for the tour, David - you always do a great video and I love your sense of humour 😁 of course the elephant in the room: ‘ow mucha does eet costa? (sorry, my excuse for an Italian accent! 🤣)
Hahahahahah to be honest I have so much fun making them..... very often I say things and then later when I watch them I lough so much.... silly 😜
Grazie Davide! What a beautiful walk! I agree after x amount of years spent out of your country, places like this are just what your soul needs.
I’m glad you get it! Pace of life the light and the people can really change your perspective on life. 🙌💫🙏
@@salentowithlove3314 I totally get get it. I lived in Puglia from 2012 to 2016, I had to move back to the US...at the time I was married. If I could, I would move today!
@@danielaluisiburns9993 Wow, that is a fantastic statement!! I was by the sea today to view a property and then I had a coffee by the sea…. Do I need to add more..!!
Davide, no you don't! I can still close my eyes and travel through the seasons and smell the particular fires ( if it's olive wood or other types), almond flowers... walking in Trani, in the centro storico, where the fishermen pull in and sell their catch. Andria, another beauty... However Salento has a different kind of magic.
@@danielaluisiburns9993 if you ever come over, I would love to do some videos with you.... your enthusiasm and love would come through, making thousands of people wanting to come over and experience 🙏
Thank you Davide for the beautiful video!!
Very interesting.
The interior towns are the most interesting.
Salento is perfect for riding a bike.
Hi, David, I'm a tarot reader and past life regressor. it's all about "alchemy". Apparently, the first or true alchemists realised gold had interdimensional properties.
You could find out if you were an explorer that came to the shores of Italy or someone who had a significant influence on Salento.
Thank you Stella, very interesting theme 🙏
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Some places are truly magic!
Mille grazie. This was such a special town. I look forward to the next video. And ci vediamo dopo la pandemia!!
Siiii ci vediamo molto presto ☺️
These walk through videos are great. So nice to see what some of these towns actually look like. Google Street view isn't quite the same thing.
I sometime get lost in the beauty and I go on and on 🙄🙏
@@salentowithlove3314 that's the beauty of it.
Nice video Davide looks like a great town!!
Thank you, glad you like it 🙏
Mi manca il Salentooo 💚🤍♥️
L'ultimo cuore dovrebbe essere rosso pero!!! Spero che tu riesca a ritornarci presto!
Hi Davide, Thank you for the fantastic video. There are so many beautiful details in the buildings you passed by. I'm sure you could spend days wandering around discovering interesting things. I loved the paved streets as well. You seem to have a knack for discovering the best places to eat too!
Can you walk through Alessano please?
Thanks Davide for another wonderful walk through. I am really loving the history lessons with each town. I have a list of towns I would love to see that are off the beaten track should I email you. I'm guessing I'm going to see them down the track as you make your way through. I especially have my eye on Matino. Can you advise if the towns have railway or good bus transport systems?
Well we have our channel of communication open already, email me for any additional info on any town and I’ll do a walk just for you. Or I can give you and answer all your questions. Yes Matino has a train station and a bus service running from and to Lecce. Very beautiful town and a rare one, Salento is almost flat, almost... Matino is one of those towns that sits higher, with great views. Close to some of the most extraordinary beaches in Salento (punta Della Suina)
Hi Davide I'd love to see more of the towns villages on the coast I'd love a house right on the beach. I went to Gallipoli last year and Lecce didn't get chance to see more of the coastal area. Really enjoying you vlogs thank you!! 🙂
Hi Deb, that’s great that you managed to see Lecce, incredible city!! I will slowly slowly get around, so much to say and do and visit..... plus I need to do some work ☺️ like finding you the perfect house on the beach front!! Let me know when you’re ready! 💫
Fantastic walk through Davide. How's about walking through Oria soon? Keep up the great work!
Thank you for this. I think I'm really going to enjoy this series of walk thoughts. For the people who live on those very narrow streets, what do they do with their cars when not in use? It looks like there is no way to get a modern auto up to many of those houses.
Thank you 🙏
With the parking you’ll be surprised, they look narrow but local people are full of resources 😁 also this old centres are very small, within 30seconds to 2 min maximum you’re out, and you can easily park.
Do you prefer being inside or outside? Is there good coffee all over Salento?
It depends... I love both, it very much depends on the weather 😉
Incredible coffee here in Salento with a huge history, check out Quarta Caffe just to mention one!!
@@salentowithlove3314 why you're in Salento 👏👏😃 good weather all year around
@@gillianroberts9752 weather is good and sunny! It gets cold in the winter 2/3 months 5/15degrees, little rain and the wind! So inside is also good 😉
Explore morciano di leuca
Fantastic place, I will get there one day
