Let's get serious for a moment. First, I've said it before but your video production quality is unreal. Second, the food you find and showcase is astounding. Third, the house in the country is a dream. Let's be honest, the stonework alone would cost the amount of the asking price here in America. The intricacy and extent of the stone landscaping is hard to believe. It is an enchanted Italian dream, custom built to wander in the cool mornings and warm evenings, picking ripe fruit, entertaining friends and being at peace. Incredible. 420 days until I retire with a pension at fifty years old. I'm coming. Thank you for these videos, you're an artist putting them together.
To be completely honest, though, as an Italian... small towns have so many homes for sale because smalltown life can be boring AF. If you can afford it, something like this can be great as a weekend house: Italians will work Mon-Fri in the city, and then spend the weekend in a beautiful small town surrounded by beautiful countryside or mountains. Sunday night they'll all be on the highway to get back to the city, though.
Wow! Two amazing places! Love the tile in the first and the size and gardens of the second. I have a large family and can imagine us fitting perfectly there! Also, the pastry making lesson...suddenly so hungry for pistachio filled pastry! 🥰
RIP drone. Love your videos, you really do bring us some amazing homes. That villa was a treat. I would love a property like that, mostly because of the beautiful gardens, but would prefer a smaller house.
Marco, e talmente bellissima la citta. Io amo le case hai mostrato. E la mia parte favorita dell'Italia. Grazie per upload ogni tempo senza aspettatione dalla nostra.
Ciao Marco, been viewing your fabulous vids for some time, grazie mille, great how you include info on town, local food & quality ristoranti available 👏😊👍. Thankyou for sharing Parabita, agree, looks like an excellent town in Salento, and really loved, in particular, the character, and cimintina tiles in the first property, bravo to the owners, and a top terrace. Great find! And your lunch looked superb. Must visit there one day, tutto il meglio, 😊.
This is amazing. Thanks so much for bringing these gems to us. Question on remodeling: Are there contractors or workers in the area that can handle renovations and upgrades? Or is that difficult to find. A video on that would be great.
Finding that drone will be a story for the townsfolk probably. I loved the graphic you popped in re: pigeon it gives a nice contrast to your elegant style. AND love the cultural mixed in the pastry looked delicious. Perfetto! That second property the garden....so beautiful.
The pronunciation of Italian by the chef was superb. I understood every word and am quite proficient at reading and understanding. Unfortunately I don’t speak it well , nor write it well. 😢😮😢 Love your channel which I just chanced upon and plan to follow it regularly.
Your videos are so beautifully done. The town the two apartments were in is so beautiful and quaint. For us, the two apartments are a perfect solution. We could live in the top apartment and rent the lower apartment. While I respect the owner's desire to preserve the historical integrities of the kitchens, I don't feel they are functional as is. I would renovate them while somehow maintaining the architectural characteristics.
I really love this country house. So many rooms, you can transform them to a lot of stuff. And the second floor, what an amazing art studio that big room would be. And the garden, amazing. I would hire a gardener, and have all kind of flowers, trees etc. It's really really beautiful. It's a little unclear to me where exact this house is, the distances to nearby towns etc. I always want to know, where can I shop, nearest grocery stores, pharmacy, vet, and such. And the food you had! Oh my... fantastic!
You do beautiful work, and I wish I had seen this years ago! I do have one suggestion, however. Rather than “up talking” at the ends of your sentences, making them sound like questions, drop your voice to indicate a period is in place. Listen to the audio on this. It is a fine point that public speakers often overlook, but to those who are listening to this in English as their second language, it could be confusing. I look forward to more of these.
Veramente non ho parole!!! Sono tanto lieto di aver trovato il tuo canale. Ho studiato a Firenze 35 anni fa, ho vissuto in Italia 2 anni e ho viaggiato tante volte. Ho deciso di trovare una casa in Italia, però dove !
09:03 DH1 is truly an amazing property. I love the ceilings. It's a house anyone would love to live in year-round. 21:28 DH2 is astounding. The amount of land is tremendous. True. The top floor would make a luscious bedroom for the owner of the property.
Thanks for sharing again. I like the first house. Second house requires a much higher budget and more work/money to get it ready. Garden to second house is a plus but lots of work ;).

Love the last one but no Air conditioning. That would take some money to accomplish that. But it's very beautiful. Thank you Marco for another great video
Once again, another great video with two interesting properties. I love the potential of the architect designer country house but for me, it would require too many upgrades; new kitchen, new bathrooms, new flooring, and some reconfiguring. Looking forward to your next video
I am 67 and have tried to live in Italy - it is not for me. Our culture are so different. In Sweden we repair things in advance, before they break - in Italy the repair when it is broken. This explains why we are so different. Italy is also a ruin but very beatiful and the people are very nice and I like the language which I speak. But it is so differebt to be a visitor for some weeks och months or really live there. Try to rent first - Airbnb is a good option. And learn the language - Italians do not speak English - but if you learn Italian it is very easy to communicate. So Sweden will be my residence and Italy for my vacation.

It is not easy to live in a large country which is an open-air museum. Here when you make a hole you find something ancient. If the government intervenes, the excavation is blocked .. someone says that someone covers everything and does not warn the Superintendency. What you consider old sometimes cannot be touched. If you live in historic houses, the Superintendency will not allow you to restore as you want. There are restrictive laws. The differences ... The differences in cultures are personal enrichments, in my opinion.

Can the first house connect both apartments? when you went downstairs to the small room (studio I believe you called it) wouldn't we be on the same level as the lower level apartment? Anyway, is it possible to create a door ( I know the walls are super thick!)
Unless you have a live-in housekeeper I believe the house will require enough daily work to keep you busy a good part of the day, after that I imagine you can do the same things you do anywhere else.... go for a walk or a run, go to the beach, gardening, painting or sculpting, cooking, go around exploring the area, meeting the locals, or just relaxing and enjoying the landscape letting the slower pace of life refuel your creativity 😊
