Let's get serious for a moment. First, I've said it before but your video production quality is unreal. Second, the food you find and showcase is astounding. Third, the house in the country is a dream. Let's be honest, the stonework alone would cost the amount of the asking price here in America. The intricacy and extent of the stone landscaping is hard to believe. It is an enchanted Italian dream, custom built to wander in the cool mornings and warm evenings, picking ripe fruit, entertaining friends and being at peace. Incredible. 420 days until I retire with a pension at fifty years old. I'm coming. Thank you for these videos, you're an artist putting them together.

To be completely honest, though, as an Italian... small towns have so many homes for sale because smalltown life can be boring AF. If you can afford it, something like this can be great as a weekend house: Italians will work Mon-Fri in the city, and then spend the weekend in a beautiful small town surrounded by beautiful countryside or mountains. Sunday night they'll all be on the highway to get back to the city, though.

Your videos are so beautifully done. The town the two apartments were in is so beautiful and quaint. For us, the two apartments are a perfect solution. We could live in the top apartment and rent the lower apartment. While I respect the owner's desire to preserve the historical integrities of the kitchens, I don't feel they are functional as is. I would renovate them while somehow maintaining the architectural characteristics.

I am 67 and have tried to live in Italy - it is not for me. Our culture are so different. In Sweden we repair things in advance, before they break - in Italy the repair when it is broken. This explains why we are so different. Italy is also a ruin but very beatiful and the people are very nice and I like the language which I speak. But it is so differebt to be a visitor for some weeks och months or really live there. Try to rent first - Airbnb is a good option. And learn the language - Italians do not speak English - but if you learn Italian it is very easy to communicate. So Sweden will be my residence and Italy for my vacation.

It is not easy to live in a large country which is an open-air museum. Here when you make a hole you find something ancient. If the government intervenes, the excavation is blocked .. someone says that someone covers everything and does not warn the Superintendency. What you consider old sometimes cannot be touched. If you live in historic houses, the Superintendency will not allow you to restore as you want. There are restrictive laws. The differences ... The differences in cultures are personal enrichments, in my opinion.

Rather than “up talking” at the ends of your sentences, making them sound like questions, drop your voice to indicate a period is in place. Listen to the audio on this. It is a fine point that public speakers often overlook, but to those who are listening to this in English as their second language, it could be confusing. I look forward to more of these.

I will tell you a story when I was living in Italy for half a year. One day a man came to fix the connection to internet that did not work. He was very nice and spoke only Italian - but I have learned Italian so we could communicate. It was friday and at three o´clock he said "now I am going to pick up my son at school". I said fine - when do you come back? He just looked at me and said - from thin air "on monday". Fine I said - at what time? He looked me again and from thin air "in the afternoon". He really showed how he was so surprised that anyone could ask so complicated questions about tomorrow. He never came back....So if you have a swedish mind about time - do not move to Italy - if you like the floating life - then it is possible to live there.

I shot the city segments during a weekday at siesta time (2-4pm) when everything is closed and locals are indoors. This is usually the case for all my videos. It’s more practical for me to film and I’m not inconveniencing anybody who doesn’t want to be seen on video.
I planned with the restaurant owner to come early for the same reason.
Most of these historical city centers are mainly residential streets. Come back in the evening and weekends when locals all come out to socialize and visitors come 👍

Interesting for sure, as are most of your showings. I do look forward to them. The first one is great for rentals. Living, not so much. Both kitchens are useless if you wanted to cook a meal. The second house is marvelous but the garden limits its appeal, as you’d have to hire an army of staff to keep it even under control. That one may sit for a while. All that garden and still no pool either.
I love the local architecture down there, but the homes seem to be tiny and cramped or a villa in need of a half million in repairs. It looks like south Texas where I am. Is it hotter than hell there? It always seems so bright and sunny in your tubes. But I wonder if that sun is just brutal in the afternoon. I don’t know if I’d want to live there. But I don’t mean to be critical. Both were great places to show and I enjoyed seeing them. Love your work.

I shot the city segments during a weekday at siesta time (2-4pm) when everything is closed and locals are indoors. This is usually the case for all my videos. It’s more practical for me to film and I’m not inconveniencing anybody who doesn’t want to be seen on video.
Most of these historical city centers are mainly residential streets. Come back in the evening and weekends when locals all come out to socialize and visitors come 👍

I purposely film at times when people aren’t around, either early morning or siesta time during weekdays. It’s more practical for myself with the equipment I have and not inconveniencing others who unknowingly might not want to appear on film. Historic centers are largely residential and follow a certain rhythm of daily life. In the evenings and weekends the streets and piazzas fill up with locals and visitors.
