  • Where do I begin, i very much struggle to put into words what I felt by walking into this Palazzo.
Our every day life can sometime desensitize us from the beauty that surround us. Palazzo Salomi is a standing witness of the wealth and the richness of Salento. For centuries this family was connected to the growth and the development of the area, today we can still find the Salomi family on the list of the most aristocrats families of Italy.
Spanish, French with a touch of Jewish background this Palazzo is full of stories and history to tell
What about the town of Soleto, well you just need to think that the most important family in the history of southern Italy live here, Orsini Del Balzo, also the great alchemist Matteo Tafuri, the legend of the bell tower built in one night, the oldest map ever found, all of this a much more are part of this extraordinary town and this Palazzo was standing there witnessing a lot of those ancient activities
I still wonder what treasures and secrets are hiding in this magic land of Salento
Bringing life back to this treasure will definitely be a very rewording gift
With Love and respect for the Salomi Family
    Davide

It’s one of those rare properties where time has stood still. There are so many beautiful features and then that rooftop terrace simply Wow! Thanks for bringing this history for us to see and wonder.

Wow! This is truly a building of significant historical distinction!
Per ridare splendore a questo palazzo serviranno una squadra di artigiani, amore per la storia e per l’arte, un po’ di coraggio, e perspicacia.
    Complimenti ai proprietari!

Thank you for the tour Davide. Those abandoned houses are always the best. Maybe two or three years ago there was a smaller part of the house (I think it was the left one on the upper floor) for sale in an auction on Asta. Do you know whats happened back then?

An absolute rare find, not sure about the previous owners, what I do know is that is quite rare to find an entire building of this size, without other elements owned by several people

Davide, this beautiful treasure filled Pallazzo NEEDS your great talents and creativity to breath life back into it...Buono Fortuno Maistro!🙏....Very much interested to see how you will deal with the heating/cooling in this challenging and sensitive restoration!.... At first thought, it would seem that the beautiful floors do not want to be lifted for underfloor heating??🤔🤔🤔
