Rocky, thank you for all the great work you do for these pups to find a furever home. Suggestion: Change the title of the video to "PUPDATES", since it's a compilation of ALL the adoptions that have taken place, not just Vincent. ❤❤
you deserve as much subs as mr. beast! i love these videos they just make me smile, thank you SO MUCH for helping dogs, loving dogs, just being an angel.
I'm an apartment manager and a couple of years ago, one of my residents had a boxer puppy. He was 9 months old and his owner had passed away, leaving him with the remaining family in the home. Well, those relatives did not want this dog (it wasn't theirs after all) and they neglected him terribly. This dog had never been walked (they had him using a pee pad on a balcony), had never left the apartment once in the 9 months of his life. As soon as this situation came to my attention, I went over and spoke with the residents. They were going to dump him on the side of the road (NO joke). I calmy talked them into giving me the opportunity to take him and rehome him. The very next day, I found him the perfect home with a woman who had a large chocolate lab, and we went over to get him. This poor dog, who's name was Rocky, wouldn't let us near him. It took us 45 minutes to coax him out of the apartment into the hallway. He had to be carried down the stairs, since he didn't know what they were. The moment he was placed on the grass, I started bawling. He was so confused... but started smelling everything. Soon he was rolling around in the grass. He started prancing and his mood changed from confusion to curiosity to joy. The very next day, I got an update from his new mother. She shared a few photos of him sitting in the back of her car with his dog brother, smiling and snuggling. The. Very. Next. Day! Dogs are so adaptable and just ready to love. I will never forget Rocky's story, or the way helping rehome him made me feel. We can all make a difference. ❤
Male cats are dominating as dog . I take care of my sons 🐈⬛ and she’s so smart. Also super independent, and vocal. We had 3 🐶 🐶 🐶 s that we got forever 🏡 🏠 🏡 s, for them. I kept 2 of them, but had to take them to the animal shelter, as they were too strong for me to handle by myself I really enjoy watching yours videos. I really miss my Shiloh. Keep up the good work.
You made me cry. 😢 I, too, have had dogs that were so broken, scared, confused, panic attacks, hypervenilating, etc. They are so trusting, then get their little dog hearts broken. I'm glad you helped this special fur baby!!! Thank you!!! 🥰🥰🥰
If there is an Order of the Disciples of St. Francis of Assisi you surely are qualified for a life time membership for FREE. Thank you for rescuing Rocky from Hell. ❤💯
I have to admit that this episode brought me to tears. I'm an animal rescuer in the Midwest. I appreciate you so much for doing this for the shelter pets. Not everyone understands how hard it is to get a dog to trust you. I rescued a border collie and I brought him home and immediately took him to my vet. He weighed 24 pounds. 😢 he was anemic so bad from worms and fleas. Luckily for me my Vet interned with my Grandfather. I literally laid on the floor with him for 3 days and I hand fed him raw liver and after a few days, the meds were working. He started to gain weight and over the next few months he made it to 68 pounds and was doing dancing with me. So we made our own, and he would go in between my legs and he would lick my hand so he could kiss me. He was the best dog I ever rescued. Then the man who abused him brought a collie in a horse trailer and he left him without food or water for 2 weeks. I am our town's animal control (more like rescue person) and I cut the locks off with bolt cutters with the Sheriff. I have never seen a collie smile so big. My border collie and he got along so well, I couldn't bear to adopt him out. They were the best of friends and my family absolutely supported me being a foster failure. I sure miss them. They were my soulmate dogs. Thank you for doing all you do. ❤
I had a black cat. I found her on the side of the road beside her dead mother who appeared to have been by a car. I took the kitten home, because her eyes hadn’t even opened yet. I called the humane Society about the mother and the kitten. Toby stayed with me for 22 years. I loved her and when I had to have her put down I was devastated. But for 22 years she had the best care and I had a little kitten for 22 years, ❤️❤️🐈⬛🐈⬛🐾🐾
I’m curious to know if your cat was vaccinated. My friend had a cat who lived for 25 years. It was never vaccinated. I believe that kept that cat’s immunity in good shape
@mercy6305 It's towards the very end, after Rocky has taken Vince to the airport and wished them well, then Wende follows up with a very sweet video of Vince exploring his new home and enjoying the company of Wende's granddaughter... bless this woman and Rocky for all you do!!! 💞
I'm disabled and had considered getting a service dog, but I also live full time in a relatively small rv, and there is a fair chance that I'll pass within the next 3 years, so decided that there was no way I was going to subject any dog to that. I do have a 6 yr old cat who's the ultimate purr baby, but I've already arranged for my sister to care for her if/when I pass. Instead, I donate to a local no-kill shelter and when I can I come visit and try to give what love I can to animals who should be getting all the love in the world from their forever families, but didn't, and instead were abused and/or abandoned. It's so heart breaking.
Ma'am.... don't underestimate your value. You are doing your part. If everyone even did this much, what an amazing world we'd be in. I personally want to thank you for the time you give to these little babies....it matters, makes a difference. I just wanted you to know that ❤🐕 Blessings
You show that you care for the animals in all that you do! But mostly in the fact that you thought of what could happen with them in the future. Your alternative to adopting is beautiful. Bless you
For what it might be worth, service raised and trained dogs have a special clause in the contract that if you pass during their service with you and sometimes afterwards that the agency will come get them and be with them while they grieve you and possibly even find them a new person to help. So there's a fantastic suppport structure built into service dogs that isn't there for pets. My rescue even has a foster program that offers fosterage (meaning they pay vet expenses and help with other expenses if somebody will take in an older dog) for several local people with disabilities. There may be options.
I love what you do! I’m a German shepherd momma but every dog you show grabs my heart! It also puts me in tears, sad tears for stories, happy tears for the adoptions. I live across the country, but this shelter, and what you do have my support!
I just can't imagine abandoning an old dog for being old. That's like throwing grandma out for being old. I don't understand how you can love a dog all it's life but be too much trouble in their golden years. This tells me that the dog couldn't have been loved, because love would have made it impossible for a person to throw the dog away like garbage. It's mind-boggling and sad. So unfair for these deserving fur babies. They all deserve loving homes.
Near the beginning of the pandemic I took in a wonderful senior cat (21ish) She supported us through my cancer journey. As my treatment ended she went down hill fast. I still meditate and imaging walking through a field with her and my other late pets. She was in my arms as we said goodbye. I love senior pets. ❤🐶🐱
Awwy are u cancer free and that was nice of her poor u I hope u heal from her passing away she is still always watching over u 24/7 and crying wishing u could pet her etc
I am so glad and grateful that Vince is adopted safe, happy and loved!❤❤❤ Thank-you to the family that adopted Vince! 🎉 And thank-you for all the work you do ❤!
@@homeandgardendiy6363 I love what y’all do for dads but to hit on a dod smelling of cigarett smoke none of us perfict and we some smoke. Keep it about the dogs. Smoking won’t mean you are a bad dog owner 😊😊
Vince got me so emotional. What a beautiful affectionate boy he is When he got adopted and they were cuddling together the dams burst and tears were streaming. Such a beautiful ending to this chapter and the next chapter looks wonderful, just what he deserves a loving family for a loving dog ❤
❤I was SOBBING and trying to send reiki healing to a recorded session! That's how deaply Caspers silence and loneliness got to me! .. I don't know who that family from NY is..but I love you guys for adopting Casper!❤ Thank you Rocky Kanaka and the shelter people for your love!!!Dedication!!! Empathy!
Dawn reminds me of my former foster dog, Hope. She came to us underweight, covered in sores, and missng an eye, part of her lip and with some pain in the hip and shoulder on the same side of her body as the eye and lip. We got her on prescription food, put on some lbs, and helped begin conquor her fear of people and cars and she is now chonky, sassy, and in her furever home with a loving sister of the same coloring. Hope is proof that Dawn's got chances!
No I wouldn't return them. I shipped my animals from Hawaii. People asked me why I didn't leave them. It shocked me. I responded, "Why don't you leave your kids behind?" To me, you make the same commitment to your pets that you do when you have kids.
I have moved 10 times to different parts of the country. My cats & dogs were either flown or driven. Never a thought of leaving them behind! That is one of the biggest problems, adopters who consider disposable items! Never making a commitment to keeping them for their life span. Absolutely atrocious!!
I adopted Bella from a local shelter here in Norfolk. She was a senior doggie and she had been adopted and brought back to this shelter 12 times. Wow..... I could not believe it! She and I clicked right off. She just curled up in my lap when we sat in the playroom!!!! That was 6 years ago. She's my heart!!!❤❤❤
We have a 12-year-old dog named Bella! She is a tripaw because an evil person shot her. We were able to save her life, but not her front leg. 😢 She has never had puppies. We had her spayed. But she loves all babies. She has babysat every kitten that has ever come into our home. We adopted a pregnant stray Torti. When the kittens were born, Bella "stole" them and took care of them often. Their mom, Freckles, did not mind. She could go eat, etc. without worrying. Bella is so loving and gentle! I am so thankful to you for adopting a senior dog who needed your love! God bless you and your Bella!
I'm getting my first dog on Wednesday because of your videos. He was close to being euthanized until he was transported to a foster in my area. I also sent pet supplies to a rescue, all because I saw your videos. Thank you.
Wow, Delilah, that is awesome news. I can imagine how excited you must be. Since your post is six days old your pup will have checked in meanwhile. I hope you have a wonderful time together! Wish you both the best!!! 🎉🐾❤
The loyalty of that sweet border collie is beautiful and sad. It is sitting in the only place where it can see out watching for its people to come back. They are so amazing and if I had room for it to run I would love to give a home to such a sweet pup!
The bull terrier made me cry. Reminds me of the dog I fell so in live with. I’d call her my little girl. She belongs to the now ex. and I miss her so much. Bull terriers are the best. But very often neglected and or abused like pitty’s . I prey she finds a forever home with a very loving family. Also thank you for sitting with cats. They are amazing animals if you give them love and affection they can easily act like dogs. My cats are emotionally healing me. ❤
I cried when I seen Mia’s eyes. She broke my heart, then I cried again, with happy tears when she was adopted by the perfect owner. I have 4 rehomes, not because I need 4 dogs, but because they needed me.
Wendi is perfect! I’m so happy she found Vince! He has love and you can tell he was ready for the family!! Thank you Rocky! And the team of the valley!
Aggie returned because he was “too big” kills me. I adopted a French bulldog mix from a rescue, turns out she’s 49% American Rottweiler. She is indeed bigger than I wanted or expected, and I definitely didn’t sign up for big dog poops! But you couldn’t pay me to give her up, I think the universe gives us what we need when we need it.
There is something very special about giving a home to a senior animal. They give you so much and ask for so little. The experience of caring for and relating to a pet enriches your life in ways you would not expect. ❤❤❤
I’ve seen this one before and since I cannot sleep this night it still gives me great happiness‼️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏 You are all, everywhere, HEROES throughout our country. Yes, you who give to our shelters wether it’s voluntary or otherwise or professional. Bravo compadres who who continue to put your love into our GREATEST COMPANIONS! Kiss, hug, kiss, hug and millions more kisses and hugs from us, the most appreciative huge sections of our United States of America 🇺🇸 ❤🙏❤️‼️🫵🏻
We adopted a senior dog, she was a bit blind and had some masses, which we had removed surgically. Missy was with us for only 2 or 3 years, but she was such a beautiful dog. We don't ever regret adopting her, she was so gentle and beautiful!
Years ago I went to a shelter to get a cat. While there one cat came up to me. I asked if I could pick her up. She purred and padded and I brought her home. I found she had been there 7 months and never been to anyone. We were best friends until she passed of old age. I have great memories.
When wende started speaking i started to have a tear in my eye. Thank you wende thank you rocky. And thank you shelter staff. And tha k you for making a full shelter video. All of these dogs deserve the same loving future that you strive for so i thank you again for what you have created here. I also love the announcements over the speaker. Makes it so memorable and meaningful so glad dawn is getting help too coz she reminds me so much of molly. Our English bull terrier that passed few years back
My 14 week old Bernese Mountain Dog had a completely freak accident when he ran into our glass patio door and broke his neck 😢. The only things he could move were his eyes. We were given a 10% chance of survival, however we decided to take him to a specialist vet who operated on him - he had broken his C1,2 and 3. Two months later he is walking and he has Horners Syndrome too which they hope should rectify itself 🥰
This channel is like the antidote to all the bad things on the internet and in the news. This is like joy jet fuel injected directly into my heart. Thank you for these long-form videos too. It's awesome to just hear all this positivity for such an extended period. Truly like a happiness pill.
I totally agree with the fact that this channel does help lighten the heart, especially since we mostly hear heavily laden sadness, violence, hate & grief these days.
I agree 💯💯💯. This channel just fills my heart with happiness like my sweet pets do. I have 2 toy dogs… a little 5 lb Yorkie & a 10 lb Poodle… 2 bunnies… and 6 budgies. 🩵🐾🐾🐰🐥🩵
@@fifilafleur5555 My niece and I have 3 smaller goofballs: my Yorkie mix (Jack Russell?) and her Chi-weenie and (we think) a Rat Terrier mix. All 3 are between 15-18 pounds. My Yorkie (Lionel) totally LOOKS like a Yorkie, with his beautiful toffee-blonde and silver coat; but his dimensions are bigger. He is also sturdier … more like the JR. The Chi-weenie is black and very sweet. His shape actually reminds me of a black lab, but smaller. He is also visually impaired, but he follows the other two around, and my yard is perfect for 3 smaller babies. The Rat Terrier, Bella, is very dainty. She is a couch potato inside, but she loves to bark and run outside. She also likes L-O-N-G sunbaths, and she bosses the boys around and makes them behave!
The two dogs I have now are rescues. But when I adopted from shelters I always chose a big, black, older female. I was never disappointed. In fact I’m grateful for the opportunity
Thanks for all you do. I can't make a permanent commitment to an animal right now so I contacted my local SPCA about fostering. I know that senior cats don't do well in shelters so that's what I wanted. Or a Mom cat with kittens. I had to get permission from our building manager and agree to give her an extra half-month deposit so I thought I was good to go. Then I contacted the SPCA and, after a nice conversation during which I told the clerk that I lived in a one-bedroom apartment, she told me to submit a foster application. It was while filing out the application I realized that I would not be approved. One of the requirements is that I have to have a separate dedicated room for the cat. The shelter employee knew that I could not meet that requirement but she said nothing. I'm so disappointed. I wish she had been more honest with me. It is so sad because I could have provided a loving, safe, quiet environment and I have decades of caring for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, cows and chickens and most of my animals were adopted or were strays. I refuse to believe that every cat needs their own space, maybe some with medical issues do but not all cats.
@@carolgarrett1786 Just an update. I decided to adopt a senior cat instead of fostering. When I contacted the SPCA, they asked me to also take my chosen cat's buddy as they had been surrendered together so now I have 2 senior cats.
I agree. I have 9 cats living with me in a makeshift home after the place I rented was lost by the owners to the bank. (14x40 Mennonite building) We all co-hab fine!
They ask for a spare space to allow the cats to decompress, they also ask that there be no carpet in that room. Like you I feel it's a drawback to insist on this as not all cats need it.
@BettyDuguid I could understand it if this was a busy house with children but they know it is very quiet here. Animals with medical issues may need a special space or a mom with kittens but other cats don't, especially when the person fostering has 50 years experience caring for animals. A little common sense would allow more animals to be fostered and get them out of cages.
I adopted an older dog with health problems who was abandoned after being attacked by 3 dogs. He'd been in the shelter just over a year. It takes time, but it’s SOOO worth it when they suddenly turn into the dog you wanted all along. I still miss my 2 best friends who passed on before, but love is not a limited resource. If you've adopted, if you’re thinking about it, blessings to you. 🙏❤️
I am a born cynic , in actual fact your motives for doing what you do, is simply sincere, okay you may make money from this, but its such a good cause, I really love the way you present the plight of these abused and abandoned dogs.
I think Vince's ear gives him extra character. He is so sweet and so freaking handsome, and that extra character is so endearing. I am so, so happy to hear that he's FINALLY in his furever home. What a doll. ❤❤❤
On leaving South Africa to relocate to Canada we took both our “rescue” dogs with us: they were part of our family so there is no way we could leave without them. Love the work done by Rocky and the staff of this very special shelter. Keep up your wonderful work.
Seeing so many dogs behind the glass made me cry. They long to be loved and give love. I started dating a police officer who had 2 cadaver / drug German shepherds. The first time he brought the dogs to my apartment it didn't occur to me to be scared of them. Within 5 minutes the 3 of us were snuggled up in blankets on my recliner. The boyfriend was sitting on his own-io on the couch feeling miffed lol. But he said his dogs, being working police dogs, never normally do that, befriend humans in such an affectionate way. He decided to take it as a sign that his dogs approved of me,
I am so happy you are showing cats. They need a lot of love , but it is worth it. When you bring them home they may spend time under the bed. When they get used to you they are affectionate and loving. Thank you for telling people about the cats you have. God Bless you
Oh my word. Your channel is so compassionate. Anyone gives you stupid, hurtful or negative comments should be removed. Thank you from New Zealand. I support our local shelters and think what you do is just great.
Oh My Gosh! They Returned a Puppy for Being A Puppy! Now I Have Herd It All.!!! Animals Learn, takes patients and consent teaching. But You Get A Life Long Friend,That Will Love You With All They Got!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Vince is a great dog and he deserves love and affection. It's like with people with disabilities, they need love too. I'm in Pennsylvania. Yeah, PA for rescuing Vince.
I think Vince had travelled before.. and the way he just let Wende go hugging and squishing him, he's like, ok.. can we go home now, Grans? Like what took you ao long?❤❤❤❤❤ Can't help crying tears of joy! If only I can afford to adopt!
Yes, please Kelly create a RUclips channel for Sitting with cats... They are amazing and indipendent creatures. I Love your work Thanks for all the help you give to the purest creatures on this planet.
As a person with a degree in veterinary medicine I applaud you sir. Going from 30 to 70 cages a day to make sure I know what it takes to make a animal comfortable. There were times that I couldn’t spend the time I wanted nor needed with them and it made me sad I had a job to to do. But the the two boys I have are now re both adopted and are now 17 and 19. Grays to to you. Keep it up. 😊
When I saw Mia's face, and her expressive, Disney dog eyes, she broke my heart. I have 2 small dogs from the same litter, and I love them so much. One of them has expressive eyes like Mia's, with the eyebrows that are so mobile! I'm so excited that she was adopted by a great guy, with a sibling pup, and she is active and loved. Rocky, you're the best!
I’m so glad happy that Vince found Wende and Wende found him. They seem perfect for each other and look like they’re in a very loving momma / pet relationship. Vince even has a loving extended family. I think he will be happy for the rest of his life. ❤
This genuinely makes me so happy. I’m so glad Vince found a loving home. I used to only want to get a puppy if I were to get another dog, but seeing this *REALLY* makes me want to adopt an older dog. Vince is so beautiful, and Wende is incredibly lucky to have him! Best of wishes to you, Vince, and every other dog out there. ❤
I cried the moment I heard Vince got adopted by a beautiful lady, Wende, who obviously has an amazing heart. She has a gentle heart and demeanor that is meant for Vince who had a hard life. Thank you to everybody that helped Vince find his forever loving family. I love stories like this.❤❤❤
God bless you for doing what you do….i dont think i could ever handle it I think I’d have a house full of rescues cuz I couldn’t part with them Applause and respect
These are such heartwarming stories 🥰. I felt so sorry for the beautiful white German Shepherd next to Rocket . He/she was so desperate for attention 😔. I hope he/she found their forever home too🙏❤️
I have an aging dog- had him for 14 years; he's my first one and I've been frustrated with him. Watching your videos has given me a new perspective on his life as a senior and my whole attitude has changed. Also, for the first time, I see the point in adopting a dog; mine have always been puppies; I haven't wanted a dog that has issues that might cause him to bite, etc. I'm too old myself to start with another dog when my senior and younger dog die, but if I could , I'd now adopt due to watching your videos. Keep up the good work.
Don’t give up yet. There are many senior dogs that are well-behaved and only need a spot in the sun by your side. The circle of love could be a wonderful thing for both of you.
It was wonderful that Vince got adopted, even though it was on the other side of the country. So nice he fit right in and all the family love him. So thankful he was adopted. ❤️❤️
You are doing a wonderful job and u must get so much inner happiness from helping these babies out of these prisons.may God bless u .u are a sweet guy.
Vince is the cutest ever all of these pups are! Vince melted my heart ❤️ he is amazing. Rocky you are amazing of helping these pets you are a great person
I’m so glad that all the dogs are kept in good hands by you and your team Rocky it really warms my heart seeing and hearing everything you and your team have done for them.
@@Kim-J312 God bless this lovely lady. My sixty four of adoptions these were my main kind of dogs. Four years I had four dogs who were not perfect. Like me. I am disabled only in knees and eighty years old but healthy I never spent a year with out. A dog even childhood. God bless all who loves God's creatures. Dawn info.
Australian shepherds are amazingly intelligent, devoted, and sensitive. I had an Aussie, and she went everywhere with me. She was a Blue Merle. She crossed the Bridge in 1986, and I still miss her. She was truly my soul buddy. I've loved every dog I've ever been fortunate enough to fortunate enough to have in my life, but she was my heartsong. 😢. I totally get what you feel about Flip. ❤❤❤❤
I’m so very happy for Vince who is such a stunningly beautiful German Shepherd who really deserves this loving forever family - I actually have tears rolling down my face!!
My goodness 😻 what is up with all the German shepherds. They are such majestic looking dogs. Shout-out to Mel she's the best!!! Awe Augie is a cutie 🥰. Good luck Timmy I hope you find your forever home 🏡❤️
I understand not being ready yet. I lost my dog August 28. Because he was my service dog I keep getting asked when I’m getting another one. George was with me 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year from the day he came home with me with the exception of 5 times when our trainer watched him. I never had anyone else in my life with me that much or who loved me so unconditionally. The only place he wasn’t with me was IN the shower. (I live alone.) I can’t just replace him quickly even though it’s hard for me to even leave my house now. I get it.
I volunteer w a rescue in Northern CA & I have fostered dogs that were unadoptable due to age & illness. It is hard to lose them but the reward is in knowing that I made their life better for whatever time I had them. When the end came they knew they were loved. While I hurt & miss them I know I made a difference. And I no longer wait for months before I am ready to do it again. I need to love & help the next dog.
The black and white collie in the window, I know those dogs , they are extremely smart and loyal. She is actually waiting for her people to come back. Any one who takes her home once bonded will have an amazing dog ❤
Thank you for the updates. Beautiful German Shepherd dogs and mixes. I would love a little dog, but have 4 cats 🐈 already. The last 2 were abandoned by someone who put them on my porch in a garden planting bucket and let them uncovered in the heat of 110 degrees in the morning and did not even knock on the door. These were less than 3 week old kittens. I have kept them and fed them and taught them to eat hard kitten food. They are getting along better than the were with my 12 year old cat and my 6 yr. Old cat. They are a brother and a sister. They have their appointment set for their spay and neuter. Love your program.
I have a German shepherd named Dixie. She had a lot of trauma going on in her life! Her ears are always back, She's always panting (Probably just because of how hot it is), But she stays playful and sweet! I love my little girl! Her original owner is my brother, but she got attached to me because my brother moved out into his RV. No matter what I love my little Dixie! ❤✊ Stay strong, Vince!
You are right Rocky. Having gone in with the dogs, you help them break through their fears and hesitance. You are teaching them that they are cared for, accepted, and a new way of life. You are building good memories for them. And they learn that people can come and go and they are still loved and accepted. You are a friend to them and, more, an advocate for them. I do not agree with these people who think the dog should not receive love, friendship, or advocacy unless you are the one to adopt them. You give them your heart and you take them into your heart. Where there is Love, what could be more right. ❤❤❤❤❤
My heart was literally shattered when I realized Paige was waiting for someone looking for someone maybe her old owners maybe her new owners but she was definitely looking out that window for someone. 😢
What a special bunch of people you all are. It warms my soul to see the love and affection that you give, and how they over time regain their trust. We sadly lost our beautiful dog 'Odin' a husky, after just 2-years to an aggressive cancer. Watching this show reminds me of the joy Odin brought into our lives. We all are still mourning his passing and very soon will look to add another dog into our family. Adopting is very appealing! Keep up the great work guys!
My heart aches for these beautiful souls. They just want to give love and be loved. So happy for Vince. My sister and I would always adopt the ones no one wanted. We are so lucky to have them in our family.
This is just heart breaking 💔. They didn't deserve that. What a cruel world we are living in. So sad...I hope the rest of them will find somebody to take care of them. They deserve nothing but love! ❤
lol we had a very sweet all black kitty we adopted years ago from a shelter. She would get so happy that not only would her tail vibrate, it would turn into a black, shaky Christmas tree 😂. She would flop on and nuzzle everyone. One of the best fuzzy family members we ever had.
I love the part where you explain how much just spending time with your dogs can help with not only them but also with yourself. I have 2 dogs of my own and I absolutely love laying in my bed and spending time with them laying with me. My dogs are such big cuddle bugs too they love nothing more than to get right up on me, lay down on my chest or in my lap and just take a nice nap while I watch movies or TV. Dogs are so pure of heart and simplistic, I truly believe that dogs are too good for us and we don't deserve them. All dogs deserve a good warm loving home and a loving human companion to pass their time with. Thank you for all you do and for always spreading such a positive message Rocky, you rule!
Sitting with cats is awesome! It’s so rewarding. My local shelter has a cat room and you sit in a chair and different kitties hop up onto your lap. It’s fabulous.

Bless you for caring and most of all for taking action. I'm so happy for that puppy who is finally in the right place! All thanks to you 💕
Male cats are dominating as dog .
Thank you for being a good person.
If there is an Order of the Disciples of St. Francis of Assisi you surely are qualified for a life time membership for FREE. Thank you for rescuing Rocky from Hell. ❤💯
A missing ear would never be a deterrent to adopting a dog for me. I'm so relieved Vincent found his forever family.
I love that you said that. I agree wholeheartedly ❤😊.
I bawled with relief for Vince ❤ he seems like such a good boy and he deserves all the love that Wende and her family will give him.
Nah. Gives him character 😁😁😁

I love the Frosted Faces Foundation. To take in the Seniors takes a special heart. A strong heart. I am glad that you know them and mentioned them.

The best advice a vet ever gave me after I lost my dog was go and adopt inmediatly another one. It worked out perfectly.
But for 22 years she had the best care and I had a little kitten for 22 years, ❤️❤️🐈⬛🐈⬛🐾🐾
22 years? How amazing. She was so lucky to have you!
22 years! That’s almost like losing a child. So sorry for your loss, so happy for you with 22 years of happiness.
We have a black cat too we suspect Bombay. He is quite a character
I have a black cat too. My little pirate queen. She lost an eye in a car accident 6 years ago. I love her.
I’m curious to know if your cat was vaccinated. My friend had a cat who lived for 25 years. It was never vaccinated. I believe that kept that cat’s immunity in good shape
Seeing Vince lying beside the granddaughter warmed my heart 💕
I didn't see that picture...where in the video was it?

Do you deliver to Guernsey, Channel Islands UK please 🙏🏼

Me tooooooooooooo!
I'm crying.... Such a sweet cat
Me too, I'm about to retire with two old dogs, and plan to only adopt old dogs going forward. ❤
sounds like she really wanted to see you through your journey and make sure you'd be ok before she could leave.
Awwy are u cancer free and that was nice of her poor u I hope u heal from her passing away she is still always watching over u 24/7 and crying wishing u could pet her etc
The story about Vince is the first one that actually made me cry and I've been watching for months. Great story.

I’ll do you 1 better.. I uhauled my 2 large dogs through 5 states, they rode in the cabin with me! And the cabin was small.. it was 100% worth it!
So very true.
I have moved 10 times to different parts of the country. My cats & dogs were either flown or driven. Never a thought of leaving them behind! That is one of the biggest problems, adopters who consider disposable items! Never making a commitment to keeping them for their life span. Absolutely atrocious!!
Yes same! I would have taken Vince anyday!
My dogs came from Australia to the UK with me. Their flights cost about 8 times mine!

I think you spending this caring time with these dogs is exactly what the Dr. ordered because they all need it. ❤❤❤
We have a 12-year-old dog named Bella! She is a tripaw because an evil person shot her. We were able to save her life, but not her front leg. 😢
She has never had puppies.
Thank you.

It drives me crazy mad that people think dogs are its.. they come in boys,& girls just like humans do...

Years ago I went to a shelter to get a cat. While there one cat came up to me. I asked if I could pick her up. She purred and padded and I brought her home. I found she had been there 7 months and never been to anyone. We were best friends until she passed of old age. I have great memories.
I hope you have another cat now. What joy and love you gave. I love you for that

❤
I'm so so happy that Vincent finally found his forever home
Oh, wow. So sorry that happened. I know that really hurts. 😥
Ok
I am a born cynic , in actual fact your motives for doing what you do, is simply sincere, okay you may make money from this, but its such a good cause, I really love the way you present the plight of these abused and abandoned dogs.
I think Vince's ear gives him extra character. He is so sweet and so freaking handsome, and that extra character is so endearing. I am so, so happy to hear that he's FINALLY in his furever home. What a doll. ❤❤❤
Such a HUGE COMPASSIONATE REAL HUMAN BEING! An example for us ALL! GOD BLESS you Richly in ALL ways! Best Wishes from South Africa.
He decided to take it as a sign that his dogs approved of me,
❤
I'm so happy Vince got adopted, this woman is a life safer.
I am so happy you are showing cats. They need a lot of love , but it is worth it. When you bring them home they may spend time under the bed. When they get used to you they are affectionate and loving. Thank you for telling people about the cats you have. God Bless you

I get it.
Brought tears to my eyes. God bless you Vincent and Wendy.
I am so happy for Vince! I still don’t know what happened to his ear! Hope he has a great life forever!❤️
Mia!!! Oh my gosh, her eyes are so expressive - she needs all the protection and love in the world! Thank you Rocky for all you do!
This makes me so happy! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to find him the perfect home and especially to his new family!!! ❤❤❤
Dog rescue is a rollercoaster of emotions and worth every second!! Thank you Rocky for all your work ❤
You are right Rocky.
@rockykanaka thank you for rescuing Dawn from the shelter. Her situation was heart-wrenching and made me cry for her pain.
Rocky..LOVE PUPDATES...I LOVE WATCHING THESE..IF PUTS MY FAITH BACK IN HUMANITY!..So thank u❤❤❤
Rocky, i cant thank you enough for supporting all those sweethearts
you´re a true angel
Yes thank U for taking sad stories to very happy!
I’m a German shepherd lover! We always had GS as pets growing up. I wish I’d found this channel months back….he’d definitely be my new fur baby 🐶❤️
Seeing Dawn for the first time is causing such deep pain to my soul😢 Her pain is real 🫂
Wendi you are Vince's angel he so deserves, bless you and your heart.wishing you ,Vince, and your family the best❤thank you for giving him a chance to be his best.
Oh my gosh! The look on Timmy’s dad’s face when you put him in the car!!! I melted.
