Sadly true. Although many amazing musicians are huge Clutch fans. I heard this first, as itnwas requested by Alexi Laiho in Finnish radio station interview.
No doubt, an argument could be made for the best band .

Seen them probably 15 times over 25 years. Even seen them open up for themselves as The Bakerton Group. Among 100's of other bands I've seen, they're still top tier.
Saw them in 98 and man I’ve never seen dudes who dress so normal kick so much ass
Their "X-ray visions" and "Quick death in Texas" are hilarious and catchy tunes too 🤗
I still remember when and where I was the first time i ever heard clutch, still a massive fan 20+ years later.
Easily the most underrated band in the USA. They might be the last true rock n roll band currently active too

Quick Death in Texas, Hot Bottom Feeder, In Walks Barbarella, and Ghoul Wrangler are all great songs and hilarious videos. Great band full of great musicians who are just the right amount of silly.
Clutch is amazing, seen them live 3 times. Burning beard, regulator, escape from the prison planet, mob goes wild. So many good tracks to choose from. Glad you liked it.
Ah. Clutch. "Electric Worry" was the first song I heard by the band back in '07, surprisingly on the radio, but they had been around for quite a while by then... since '91. Diving into Clutch's discography is worth the journey, and if you ever get a chance to see them live, I highly recommend doing so. Saw them with Black Label Society and Children of Bodom in 2010 in Atlanta, GA at The Masquerade... probably one of the top five shows I've been to. I recommend "The Regulator," "A Quick Death In Texas," "Profits of Doom," "Spacegrass," "The Mob Goes Wild," and "Burning Beard" to name a few.

Neil Fallon is Amazing. You are not going wrong listening to Clutch. I hope to see more reactions in the future. Their song The Face, Isabela, Emily Dickinson, Barbarella, Profits of Doom, are all Amazing. Ghost etc... I could go on for days. 😁

Check out “hot bottom feeder” “a quick death in Texas” “space grass” or “elephant riders”. Clutch has been around a long time have changed styles while keeping there own signature sound.

Like his voice. Harmonica rocks and some good riffs. Southern 70-80s rock sound. Is this a current group ?
Been around since '91. They are one of the most diverse bands out there. No two albums sound alike, yet still sound like Clutch. My favorite. I recommend checking them out. A little bit of everything for everyone.

ah it's another thing to give your opinion, at least Clitch is useful
Always liked this tune.(probably because it sounds like a ZZ-Top tune...lol...and kind of have a *"Settle"* by *The Headstones* and/or *"I Don't Know"* by *The Sheepogs* flavour to it...with a hint of the blues)
Plus a couple others from them, that I found while following youtube suggestions through a *'Dark Country'* search.
They have a 2019 updated, remastered version (no harmonica or keys solos in it though)

Five Horse Johnson are great. Love the Mystery Spot album. Been fortunate enough to see them a couple of times live in London. Once supporting Clutch and then their own headline show shortly after around 2006/7

I've tried to give clutch a go many times but I find them so boring and unoriginal! If you're not going to be original at least be good. The riffs are just old recycled blues rock riff. The guitar solo was completely anticlimactic. I just don't get the appeal

Unoriginal? Boring? My guess is you haven't really listened to much of anything by them, especially the older stuff when they had a much harder sound.

Their musicianship is outstanding. Their lyrics not so much. If I understand what they're saying, it's really pretty violent, misogynistic, and immature; like a bunch of incels who finally figured out how to play real instruments instead of simulating them on a computer. Sorry, All. That's just the way it came across to me. Not a fan.
Electric Worry is a partial cover of a Fred a McDowell song. "Fred's Worried Life Blues" from the 60s. Clutch's own lyrics and songs stretch beyond anything heard elsewhere. They are true professionals and rock GODS for over the last 25 yrs.🤘

Been listening to Clutch for 28 years, first time I even heard anything they've done referred to as misogynistic. Seems to me you focused in on one line in the entire song, which is basically a take on an old blues song. And incel? Really 😂 Even the lady who watched the video said she was crushing on the singer. These guys are all devoted family men. Pretty myopic take in my opinion.
