I don't know a lot about her but she is American. Just looked it up for you. She debuted with the Chicago Symphony at age 10, and was the first American and youngest ever gold medal winner of the International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition.

You need to listen to Smells like Teen Spirit by the Two Cellos or Highway to Hell by them feat Steve Vai.

She's good. Not something I'd put on my playlist, but still, I can appreciate the talent.
I do like when someone takes classical, or unusual, instruments, and uses them to cover(or create) songs from vastly different genres.
. Such as The Two Cellos(and their female counterparts...can't remember their name right now), or those Bagpipers that do the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal covers.
And the groups that flip genres, like (Blue Grass) Steven Seagull, or (orchestral style) Apocalyptica, and so on.
    **edit**
This is probably why I like PMJ and Bill McClintock(though Bill's claim to fame Is Mash Ups)...And Tommy Shaw playing STYX songs with a youth orchestra
    keep on, keepin on

If you like classical music on stringed instruments check out Chris Thile on mandolin. Possibly the best mandolin player on the world. IMHO.

You need to react to Dimash Kudaibergen songs: SOS, Adagio, Love is like a Dream, Your Love, The Show Must Go On, Across Endless Dimensions (video), Olimpico, the best singer in the world right now.
