In this video, I drive in my new BMW X5 M Competition and give my thoughts and impressions about the driving experience after a couple of weeks of ownership.
On the POV cam, I will make some improvements for that in the next video. After looking at the footage it looks like I need to lower the steering wheel and widen the focus area for the cam.

Looks an amazing car. I have a standard 2024 X5 with the M sport package and love it. It's my first BMW and it's very powerful just in the 6 cylinder. Next time I will go for the M version, but not the competition. I want the luxury but with the big ass engine :)
My rims are the same as your one and I have the alpine white, but this grey is what I am really considering next time. It looks better than the black.
Nice! I'm a fan of the alpine white, but yea the dravit grey is probably my favorite color they offer at the moment
I owned the pre-lci x6mc and I found the ride to be harsh and unforgiving when you drive on bumpy roads, especially the rear suspension. But I do miss the B&O sound system, best option in the car. congrats on your purchase!

I can’t believe BMW doesn’t have a 4 wheel air suspension and rear wheel steering. With how crazy heavy this car is compared to its rivals it really needed it
total agree, the x5 m60i has air suspension but sadly the full M version does not. I think BMW is trying to maximize the performance on their M cars, which makes sense for M3/M4, but not for X5M/X6M, nobody takes them on the track...@@MoosePolo

2:22 "maybe its not Tesla" - thank God its not, Tesla is very cheap and plasticky, superficially modern, yes, also not very pretty or practical, because the lack of physcial buttons. This bmw on the other hand screams quality and looks very robust and nicely built. Beautiful car

Not sure if you’ve done PPF yet, but its definitely worth the money….I have PPF and ceramic on the M5 and M8…Makes cleaning a lot easier and less time consuming
I did ceramic coat it which makes it way easier to keep clean so well worth it. If I was good at keeping cars for a long period of time I think ppf would make sense but usually don’t bother

Hey hey love the video, the x5 m competition is the best suv in the word for me. I have just some question, is it expensive to fix a bmw x5 m competition ? what's the cost for fixing it ? And is the insurance's really expensive ? Thanks a lot for your answer. Keep us in touch with this beautiful x5
I haven't had to worry about repair or maintenance costs with it yet. Nothing has broke so far and it's under warranty until 4 years or 50k miles so no worries there. Also BMW includes most of the maintenance for first 3 years. And the insurance for me anyways really didn't go up much, it's a little over $100/month, but I've had the same insurance for a long time now so get pretty good rates. From what I've heard if you do own out of warranty the repair costs can be pretty high just like with an M5. thanks and will do!

Wondering how my back would hold up on a cross country trip. Actually, since I'm 6'2" i'm wondering if I even would feel comfortable in it at all.
I'm 6'5 and have done 8hrs in a single day several times in our old X5 M. Same seats in this one. They're not made for ultra-comfort, they're more sport seats, but for those long days I found it to be comfortable enough. the massage seats help
