If it weren't for him insisting to play injured the entire season Smothers would have had some more experience in maybe been able to play a little bit better today. Always blame Frost because he's the biggest loser of them all and allowed Martinez to play as injured as he was even though Frost knew Martinez was that injured.
And just think stubborn Frost will do everything he can to bring Martinez back and start him every game behind a piss poor offensive line and we have defense that sucks I will one of the worst offenses put up $364 yards and had a running back that ran for $154 the week before a 17 year old runs for $234 looks like defense is pretty weak on the run fire that God damn f****** coach and get an offensive line and a special teams my God the guy missed his block as his problem the left guy on the outside just didn't block anybody I don't know what the f*** he was thinking other than he wasn't the whole goddamn teams b******* I'm glad that we won't have to see this combination again till next year I'm sick of watching the crap that goes on within this Nebraska so-called football program it's a God damn debacle.
I’m honestly glad this season is over. Finding ways to lose by one possession is definitely something this team excels at
Iowa left 14 probable points off the score board. One catch in the endzone that the player falling on his back let the ball get away and a most likely score that was fumbled on the 6 yard line.
Death. Taxes. Huskers losing by a touchdown or less.
A FUCKING BLIND MAN CAN SEE WE NEED A SPECIAL TEAM COORD! WHY CAN'T FROST SEE THAT?!
I don't understand why Frost hasn't hired a special teams coach yet. What is he thinking? These problems are just gonna fix themselves? Come on Frost, Huskers are close to winning football. GBR
What if he would have hired one in mid season?
@@studdruppo Exactly! I think there's a limit of 10 coaches on staff. He has a coach for inside linebackers and another one for outside linebackers. Couldn't one coach handle both? Plus the previous 3 years have been horrible for special teams.
I'm glad Nebraska's season is over!!! GO Big Red!!!☠️☠️☠️
Very well stated,sir!
Excellent take! However, I wonder if Frost still thinks it's Riley's fault!
I had a guy at work tell me last week it was all Riley's fault.
We all thought Frost was the savior, however just after he was first hired he started pointing fingers at the previous coach which bothered me at the time. I thought it was immature and showed a total lack of class. However, I gave him a "pass" because of his background, etc. Wish now I could take my "pass" back!
@@Seracdog I remember Frost was asked the question in his introductory press conference how he will change his offense to the Big 10. He said the Big 10 is going to have to adjust to us. It looks like the Big 10 adjusted to his offense pretty good.
Unfortunately, yes!
The FALL and root cause of this programs decline occurred when a man known as Steve Pederson fired a 9-3 Solich who would go on and became the all time winningest coach at Ohio...
This game was a Cluster Fu#k all the way around! Both Team, Defense, Offense, Coaches, Referees all need to do extra laps Monday!
I think Frost lives in a bubble. He is tone deaf with kicker, punter and the rest of his special teams unit. Maybe when it cost him his job he might admit he should have got a special teams coach and paid more attention to how important it is to have a good kicker and punter. Ugg!
What would our record be without a coaching staff? Worst case we would lose 3 more games.
It's the way they decided to protect the punter... Costly
Recruiting talented players will be totally effected by the Huskers 4 season win/loss record. What recruit would sign up to join a team with such a disasterous record?
9 loses used to mean somebody as getting fired…some how Nebraska fans thinks this turns around…no chance.
Nebraska decides to Keep Frost as HC. The horrible choices just keep on coming. NU IS FUCKING HORRIBLE...and I'm laughing my ass off
Thank God this season is over. I can definitely wait to see Frost and this team
Logan got Smothered
Terrible season with historically bad coaching. Maybe there were one or two moments of genuine joy. Only positives: players worked hard, fans kept supporting. I’ve been a fan since 1975; wake me up when September comes.
Blocked punt was bs. Go to 3rd down play before and watch how play ended . B10 officials need a pay cut and serious monitoring that they are calling it by the book going into next year. This isn't whining about officials this is about the game being changed entirely by momentum
Same old bs. Will be the same next year as. Sorry a$$ Frost gotta go
Iowa brought 8 guys on the punt……pretty standard, left third guy on back end ducked in vs staying outside and caused the block.
Worst losts since Bill Jennings era.
"One they (iowa) shouldn't of won at all".....
Well let's see.
Allow blocked punt....check.
Sacked in end zone/safety.....check.
4th quarter fumble....check
Out gained offensively...(gasp...the stat we cling to all year to maintain relevance despite losing)
So...iowa shouldn't have won? Give me a break.
No martinez and his attitude are the culprit
Hey they beat 2 high school teams by double digits this year. NDSU on early schedule next year. OMG. Go big red... Sigh.
Even further let's go back to the wisky game and no pi and even the Ohio state game missed pi to end both those games as well. Are ppl blind or what wake up
I’m so glad I don’t have to see this clown any more for a long time
Special teams and oline are what lost us games.
Smothers getting the normal nu qb butter fingers/choke late in a game didn’t help
We used to talk about Sooner magic back in the 70's.
I like Scott but it's time for Nebraska to release him and find a new coach.
Well that's not happening for at least a year now
Bad special teams all year long, and not doing the little things well on both sides of the ball......GOOD teams do the little things, GOOD teams do not lose games like this, let alone NINE of them. BAD teams continuously find a way to LOSE. Nebraska IS NOT A GOOD TEAM, their record speaks for itself. 3-9, 1-9 BIG TEN, And I am kind of hoping for a Northwestern win at Illinois tomorrow, because these Huskers DESERVE LAST PLACE in the BIG 10 West, all to themselves.
Pull a FLORDIA GBR!!!
Scripted and Rigged One Score Loss Games!!
#3-9 #NebraskaWas.
What is Frank Beamer up to these days!!!!
Poor, Sam. Have another beer.
frost is a garbage coach. nothing is going to change, except his buyout. regardless, he's terrible and should never be in charge of anything, ever
HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE THE LAST GAME SCOTT FROST EVER COACHES AT NEBRASKA. COMPLETE AND TOTAL FAILURE
Iowa owns Nebraska … and Nebraska really should consider a more suitable conference, maybe MidCon? BigSky? MAC? And Nebraska’s problems are much worse than special teams …
Yes cause clearly they lost every game by 60 .. clearly they can’t compete ……dipstick troll
@@jdvandy8528 you are only as good as your record.
@@jdvandy8528 close losses happen all of the time ... common for bad programs. No reason to make too much about score differential ... 3-9 is 3-9
How old ru sir ? U realize we still own your ass by a comfortable margin on the all time series ... put the kool aide down
Empty championship case and never will be compared to one of the all time winningest programs in NCAAF history ... ru like in high school or something still
How could it have gone any other way? Losers lose
#GoHawks see you next season 10 wins
All the way to Wahoo Go Big Red ☺️
LETS GO SCOTT FROST#GBR22
Reality should have hit early when the refs removed the Iowa touchdown to try to help Nebraska get in the position to say “Not again” other wise the score would be about 35-21.
Well sense he dropped the ball that was the right call.
They act like a bunch of volleyball girls. An emotional swing in the 4th and give up.
