    Thank you for the color inspiration, blue and copper. My plan was white veined marble on my countertop because of the barnwood colors but couldn't resist adding those two colors into the mix after watching your video. End result more of a faux quarzite. I love it and couldn't have done it without all your wonderful training videos.
    Testimonial: My only regret is that I used another brand of table top epoxy I had leftover from art projects but it was only a 24" x 30" counter. 30 minute working time is not enough to pull off Stonecoat's magic. It was setting up before I could manipulate those bubbles. I've been watching your videos for years, I knew better. Next project, bathroom counter, I'll use Stonecoat epoxy and your epoxy trowel stick. After my first epoxy counter experience, that tool will be a must have. Thanks again for all the training and inspiration. Can't wait to use your epoxy on my next project. I've got this!!!

    Is the seal coat the same as epoxy primer if not whats the difference between them.can you use the seal coat with different colour and why did you use black on this floor. Thank you great job

    • @mitchquist
      @mitchquist 2 года назад +3

      The seal coat is the same material as the flood coat Stone Coat Flooring Epoxy. The difference between the to is, the Seal Coat is applied thin at 1 ounce per square foot of floor to be covered and the Flood Coat is 3 ounce per square foot. Great question!

      Seal coat is less epoxy to seal up concrete, flood coat is thick now that air won't get into epoxy.
      Seal Coat 1 ounce per sqft
      Flood Coat 3 ounce per sqft

      @@nouriomran1738 No it's not. Epoxy primer is different product it's more viscous which mean it permeate more into concrete and give even better bond also seals those air holes better.

    The results are stunning! I'm researching floor finishes and just came upon ideas of sealing concrete floors. My home is on a slab and after watching this I want to do the entire 1200 sq. ft this way. Do you recommend this for kitchen and bathrooms?

    • @pibblesnbits
      @pibblesnbits 2 года назад +1

      Research thoroughly. Most cleaning products that you would use in a bathroom are corrosive (i.e. Bleach) and could destroy epoxy.

      Adjust the lights adjacent to the walls ask municipality before leaving walls too distant from "teriyaki" pattern. It's a coding violation. Trial and error. Practice at outdoor epoxy warehouse let them deal with it

    I was wondering how well this holds up to UV? I have done a few counters with your product that turned out amazing. I was thinking about doing the foot paths in my 33’ greenhouse dome with this product. But I haven’t really seen it used that way and was wondering what your thoughts are.

    I was scared to attempt this process to concrete floors, however, I feel more confident towards the process application; no more tiling for me again, I am going to be an epoxy man going forward. That finished floor application convinced me that I am capable to proceed with the process. Thank you very much for the clair example.

    I really like watching the process but wish you didn't do them like cheap and cheesy infomercials. You are more on production than needed and getting less connection with the audience than you could just being natural.. The whole reason the maker video genre on you-tube has taken off is because we dont like the fake excitement.
    I have also been to your website, please put up more technical info on the actual epoxies, their formulas and properties. I dont see anything there that could actually be submitted to an architect or engineer for review. Even if your intended audience is the "home owner" most people dont do a renovation without some outside support.
