Hands down, the best cover made of this song. Not many people understand just how complex and complicated this song is.
Absolutely the best cover of the polyrythm tom section I've seen, unbelievable skill!
Thank you for coming in. You've passed the audition. When can you start? Much Respect! Really well done.
Haha thanks so much man, I appreciate it! I still have lots to learn but I gave it a shot!
Ty- well done young man! I agree you should post the drums only track and I can lay down the bass to it and we can do a virtual cover. This would be awesome. 😊🙏🏻
Amazing work, and you are still so Young, I hope that drumming world Will hear about you in the near future, Best wishes from Poland!
Tyler, I think I commented before but I just need to lyk again that this is top tier!!! I genuinely hope you'll read this cause you are THE MAN. Seeing someone covering not only a Tool song, not only Pneuma but doing it soooooo precisely. This is more than Talent. You have some serious self discipline bro. KEEP IT UP!
3:17.... Oof so good. This was truly incredible man. You got feel like I've never seen.
Tyler, you absolutely nailed it, one of Danny's finest efforts I believe!
Oh man I could watch this as many times as I watched the Vic Firth video. You're such a blessing for the ears. Keep on rocking!!
Tf you talking about
At your age and playing this level!!! You keep this up and you will go places.
Even got the polyrhythm in there. Madness. Made this look almost effortless. Incredible job.
How can someone learn this song is beyond me, insane abilities you have dude!!
You knocked it out of the park with this one. One of the best covers I've ever seen
Probably the best drum cover of this banger I've heard.
You Sir are quite simply outstanding! That was absolutely phenomenal
Imagine how Mike Portnoy suffer learning this, now imagine this men right here... His face showing days and days of suffering learning this by heart, truly respects 🍀
In fairness, in the Drumeo session he was deliberately not simply playing the sheet music because the experiment wasn't "can Mike Portnoy play some complex drum notation."
Both players are mine-boggling talents though, I consider myself to have a decent sense of rhythm and I can't nod along with this :D
@@auradmg The answer to the question "can Mike Portnoy play some complex drum notation." would be a no, he said he isnt a good sight reader
I can see the slight grin on your face during the pauses at the end of sections. You are like "Yep, I nailed that part". I often criticize covers negatively but this one was amazing. It is clear how much time and effort you put into this. Awesome work!
Superb piece of drumming there.... seriously complex, amazing !!!!
Thank you!
I was convinced that no human being can play this drum track (of course, we all know that DC is some alien octopus/human hibrid), and boy was I wrong. Ignore the "aw it's not 100% accurate" trolls, this is god tier drumming 🔥 I sincerely hope that you'll find fellow musicians and make a band, your potential is off the charts!
The time signature of this song is crazy.
signatures :)
Which one?! 😅

Holy jebus! 17 yr old killing it! Great job 👏🏻 tool needs to bring you up on stage, that would be sick!
You have played a song of the one greatest drummers of all time. And you nailed it. Im so glad to see drumming pushed forwards with numbers and not just beats.
São poucos bateristas que conseguem reproduzir essa obra prima com tanta fidelidade. Meus parabéns. Não consigo imaginar quanto tempo levou para você conseguir tocar com tamanha perfeição. Parabéns
Have any researchers ever connected electrodes to the head a drummer as great as this? I can only imagine the activity it would reveal.
That deserves a follow. 100% nailed it.
Dude… that was PHENOMENAL! I can only dream of playing this 😂
Never in a thousand years did I think I'd see a cover as good as this. Absolutely phenomenal performance.
Wow... The sheer joy of this dude covering Danny is awesome. Superb. You know 10 seconds in that this is on time. Nice job man!
Also...Can't believe you are playing in socks! WTF?!
OK. Just finished the video. Quite possibly the best Danny Carey cover I've ever heard. This dude has ears!
How you only have 27k subs is beyond me. You absolutely CRUSHED this.
Amazing performance. A perfect Danny Carey’s cover. Tool are an another dimension
Phenomenal. You have a gift, brother. Keep it up 👏👏👏
ive been playing the drums for about 3 years now, im grade 4 and i can recognise the effort that went behind this. well done.
Tyler... wow!
I enjoy watching and listening to this version more than the Danny focused one..
The "technical" section from 6:30 through to 9:30 is absolutely unbelievable.
If Tool ever needs a stand in, they have have their man!
Well done son!
