This was excellent. Is there more context to this performance? Was it indeed a high school talent show or similar? Bloody brilliant effort. Great stuff!
Absolutely fantastic. These young men played a very complex song first off. The vocals are great, the drummer, and guitarist studied this song well because the timing is so unorthodox. Very well done gents! Plus Tool is the GOAT.
Wow, kudos to the whole band and the drummer in particular for nailing the time signatures! 🥁
Wow. So impressive, did not expect such a good performance!
Incredible drumming, such attention to detail & so calm while playing just like Danny Carey. Keep it up guys
The audience is like 'What just happened"? Most didn't realize this is an 11-minute masterpiece by the band Tool.
Most people in this generation are just focusing on pop music. Back in 2019, girls were shooketh when they found out that Tool was defeating Taylor Swift in the chart.
Yeah, I’m sure 90% of the crowd didn’t realize what was being played in front of them.
😂ein Fall lückenhafter kultureller Bildung😂
10 years from now they will get it! Thats a master piece that was just covered
Most people watching have absolutely no idea what an achievement this is and how impressive it is. The time signatures here are so complicated and to keep it together is awesome. Well done guys 👍👏👏👏
Thanks for the kind words to these guys. Much appreciated!
You guys absolutely friggin killed it. This is one of the most complex songs i know, and one if the greatest rock songs ever all time.
Wow.
Congratulations, guys! I wish the video quality was better because I am pretty sure it sounded much better in reality!
That's my fault (crappy cellphone video). These guys will be posting more this summer on IG @the.mantra.band
This is one of the hardest songs to drum. It literally is a math sequence. Props to the kid drumming, and the other bandmates. Nice work kids.
This is amazing to me
I am a huge Tool fan, my life has been all about music...I know good when I see it. This is an extremely difficult song to play, especially the drums, as is always the case with Tool. The drummer here is amazing, these kids have bright future in music. It's unfortunate the audience here doesn't understand what they just witnessed.
Wow. The future of Rock n Roll is safe with these awesome musicians. Incredible cover gents. Keep it up.
the drummer did an awesome job. this song is probably one of the hardest to play for a drummer and he held his own!
Wow! One of the hardest drums to learn! Amazing job!
for a bunch of teen agers you guys get mad respect from me, a fellow musician, for taking on one of the craziest TOOL songs ever written. GREATR JOB!!
The guts it takes to get up there and even attempt this song, never mind actually pull it off. Hats off to all band members, and an extra shout out to the dummer, being a drummer myself of 30+ years, phenomenal job!
Good attempt guys! 👍. Just remember the time signature of this song is ... 5/4 to 6/4 . I just couldn't feel that happening. The bassist and the drummer should feel and count this. All respect to you! 💪
