We all want Soldier Boy. Everyone knows he is a grey character, almost a villain , but he and Stormfront are great

I'm ready to see Soldier Boy in season 4. His storyline was done superbly from the flashbacks, to finding his ex-girlfriend and team mates, and ultimately getting his suit. Of course there was everything in between like his PTSD and how do I say this in a forum....extracurricular habits....It was so well done.

I'm surprised you haven't done a video on stormfront, her death was sorta anticlimactic considering they couldve just had ryan kill her with his laser eyes in season 2, its suspicious to me that they killed her off the way they did, I personally do not think she's dead. Not to mention they also faked the death of maeve, and supersonics death was misrepresented obviously.
That's a great thing about this show, you can easily bring back or get rid of any characters at any time

Without a doubt Soldier Boy will be brought back.
With the changes that were made for the show, Black Noir not being a clone of Homelander and ultimately killing him, Soldier Boy will be the one to finish off Homelander.
With Season 3 ending with the upcoming presidential election, Season 4 will likely end with the new president being elected then Season 5 being the finale with the showdown.
Soldier Boy has to return and end what he's started (killing Homelander!)

Jensen Ackles deserves not only to return to the show but he should be the main heel. I'm surprised he wasn't in since Season 1. I can see him turning his racist/evil side of him around to be the main hero we've all been hoping to see.

Soldier boy's story isn't finished yet. My prediction is that Soldier Boy will return in the last scene of the last episode of season 4 (after the boys had their way with Newman). We saw that Mallory captured soldier boy in the last episode so ig she probably will have his mind erased and will probably use him as a weapon against homelander.
My prediction for season 5:
In season 5, Soldier boy and the boys will work together as a team in order to kill homelander. Everyone in the team including MM will act like they already know Soldier boy. They all are acting sus so Soldier boy starts asking questions but Mallory doesn't care and ignores him So he tries to discover the truth by himself/to find out who he truly is. After some episodes there will be a episode where soldier boy's memories suddenly come back and he goes rogue. He kills Mallory. Later, it turns out that Mallory installed some kind of a device inside soldier boy that kills any supe regardless of his/her powers and in the final episode butcher triggers that device and kills soldier boy. Now, there's only one threat left: homelander.
There will probably be a season 6 too

I would love to have SB back but I think they missed their opportunity. He needed to partner with Homelander, if nothing else to "raise Ryan right" so he didn't turn out like his father. That would have been interesting to see him usurp Homelander with his Son. Also this would have opened up the opportunity for SB to have a confrontation with Stan Edgar, to really see Edgar maybe sweat for once. SB isn't Homelander and he has a legitimate grudge. Also this would have given Neuman the opportunity to see if she could get SB on her side, to use him against the Boys and the other supes. But most of all I would have loved to see how bald Ashley would spin it, get the people loving SB again. But, I think Kripke couldn't get Jensen for more than one season. His stock is rising and he has a lot of stuff he's doing now and I think in the future. Glad of that. Lastly Kripke usually has a finite season arch and if the focus is on Homelander and Butcher it's going to hard to expand that story too much. That was part of the problem with season 3, it was too short to tell SB story with all of the rest.

They didn't do that because the writers wanted to show that men are bad and can't raise children properly and women are good and reasonable. It might sound stale now but that always has been the motive of the show. They even tried to make SB look bad when they showed the cartoon scenes in the 7th Episode showing SB abusing everybody in Payback. At the end of the cartoon, it is shown that they knocked SB out before giving him away to the Russians. This doesn't make sense as in Herogasm, when SB asked the twins who was responsible to have him captured by the Russians, the twins said that it was Noir all the time. If the Payback group DID knock out SB collectively as shown in the cartoon, then SB would have not asked them so many questions and killed them off immediately because they raised their hand on him. But he wanted to know who gave him away to the Russians.
They wanted to make SB look so bad but he was the only one who kept his word and stuck to the plan.
Now it seems they are trying to make Butcher look evil and have that narcissist Starlight become the leader of the Boys.
If they remove SB, make HL look like a coward, and turn Butcher evil, the sensible ones can clearly see what the woke writers are trying to do.
I re-watched the previous 2 seasons recently and tbh apart from Butcher and HL, it failed to arouse much interest in me. There seemed a void in the earlier seasons given what they gave us this season in the form of SB.
SB out, then count me out too.

Yes, soldier boy will come back. The 'new' black noir will l likely have some vague memories/fear of SB. But new Noir will be significantly upgraded to be an actual threat to SB. The Noir story arc would make sense to finally get revenge on SB. Likely Noir kills SB, but either dies from his injuries immediately, or survives just long enough to have a small fight with HL, but being exhausted/damaged, is defeated.
The whole Butcher vs Homelander as the finale would be great, but can you see the network really going for two middle aged white men having the final scene/making the difference? Nahhh...My fun suggestion would be that whatever happens, HL somehow dies the hero he really wanted to be, much to the disgust of those that know him, and the whole world sees it. A proper swerve to both delight and piss off fans.
He will most likely return in the last season of the boys
