FIX: iPhone rebooting or stuck on Apple / iTunes Logo - How To - DFU Mode

1. Make sure your iTunes is updated to the newest Version.
If your iPhone was Jailbroken, you WILL have to use DFU mode to update to the newest iOS version available for your device (for iPhone 4S this would be iOS 7.1.2).
DFU mode helps when your iPhone won't restore or is stuck on Apple Logo or itunes Logo, or if you want to jailbreak your device.
Works on: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OSX
Works with:
iPhone 3G 3GS 4 4S 5, 5S, 5C, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus.
iPad, iPad 2, New iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2, iPad Pro
iPod Touch 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th Generation
iOS 4, iOS5, iOS6, iOS7, iOS 8.0, 8.1, 8.1.1, 8.1.2, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3.2, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2, 10.3.3, ios 11
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH: iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X
2. If for some reason you do something wrong, and the "phone won't switch on" anymore, meaning the screen stays black. Just hold both the home and power button for about 20 seconds. The phone should switch on again.
To solve Error 3194 on Windows:
1) Update iTunes to the newest version!
2) Go to the following folder:
C:\Windows\System 32\Drivers\etc\
Delete the hosts file in there (if you have any illegal programs on your PC, you have to edit this file - don't delete it)
Close and reopen iTunes. Now error 3194 should be resolved.

IF YOUR IPHONE WILL NOT SWITCH ON AFTERWARDS: Simply keep holding both the power and home button for 30 seconds. This will always do the trick. Your iPhone is actually switched on, but in DFU mode, so it looks like it is switched off. Nothing to worry about.

There's an easy way on how to do this! It actually worked for me. My power/lock button does not work. All you have to do is get your phone to shut down, completely. Then have your phone connect to iTunes ASAP while holding down on your home button, you will only do this once the apple logo shows up! From there, you wait... then a window will pop out off from iTunes saying that your phone is on a recovery mode. However, just to reassure, keep holding your home button. [if this process does not work, keep doing it] Just keep pressing restore mode & restore & restore.

Check my other video to fix the iPhone with broken lock/home button. PS: China has nothing to do with your broken home button. If it was designed in USA, then it is a design flaw FROM the USA. The manufacturing and assembly worked perfect - otherwise it wouldn't have worked at all. The Home and power button on the iPhones is Apples BIGGEST issue. Fixing home button is "easy" and there is a great workaround to fix the power button - I'll post a video soon.

On your PC, connect your iDevice, With cable, open iTunes, Then wait 10 seconds then close it, open browser, on PCI, search for Reiboot, download, install and open, I don't remember but there are 2 buttons, 1 for force entering recovery mode or DFU, the other for force exiting the DFU or Recovery :) I used it and it worked, I thanked God after that !

cymode Hey, i did everything in that video but it keeps going back to the itunes logo. Sometimes itunes says it has been restored but the phone still shows connect to itunes logo.
I also get error 3194 and 4013 even though i've edited the host file.

lilbigbrow Try a different computer in a different house. Error 3194 is a server connection issue. As it may even be an issue with your router, I'd suggest using a friends laptop at their place. Should be fine there.

cymode I tried 3 different computers and different cables but i still couldnt restore it. But the sim card company told me they will fix it and i gave them the phone and they will fix it.
