- My iPhone 4s gets stuck in reboot when the battery drains. I have not jailbreak the phone. I have yet to see anyone use this technique for looping rebooting phones. I hope it helps.

i found an old iphone that i wanted to recover for some docs and while charging it it loops at the apple logo.. i tried doing what u did about 3 mins at a point where my phone burns as hell.... is there a possibility that my phone needs more time? i mean im just scared of burning it down.... plus i cant force restart it as i remember it having a broken home button.. maybe somenone know what i should do?
Could u confirm us if the problem was solved permanently?
does turn off again ??? do u need to heat it up like this evrytime it happen ????

Holy crap, I didn’t realize how many people this affected. I kinda forgot I posted this. Well just to answer some of the questions.
1. It wasn’t a permanent fix.
2. I don’t know if it works with other models.
3. I was just trying to help those who just needed to get to their data when they got their new phone.
4. Apple store folks said I was crazy for doing this fix but they didn’t have an answer for me when I took it to them except to upgrade.

If this happened after a dead battery then you should make sure you are charging off the wall rather than using usb on a laptop etc. That worked for me.
It actually works, but the thing is it took 1-2days only and the issue coming back again and I need to reheat it again to fix. Is there any permanent fix for this? because it's hassle.

Yo tengo un iphone 4s que se le acabó la batería y desde ahí ya no lo he podido iniciar, se queda en la manzana y cuando intenta iniciar se apaga y se vuelve a prender en la manzana y de ahí ya no pasa.

No I did not put in the freezer. I'm not overheating the phone to where the thermometer shows. I just get it to the point where it kicks over. I use the overheat to freezer method to reset the wifi.

Did not work tried it 2 times low and high don’t do this does not work just turned the screen a dif coler and it smells like burnt toast and rotting eggs I tryed it with the Super travel turbo 1600 hair drier

Why can no one just offer the reason why it happens to begin with. really, a fix is good, but how about why and what to do to avoid the problem. Maybe it needs a recall by Apple??

Is it a 4s phone? If it is sometimes popping out the SIM card helps kick over when the apple shows on the screen. The other option that I have done but don't recommend was tapping on the top part of the phone vigorously out of a fit of rage. Fortunately, it didn't break.
