Was any body able to pass the apple id screen? Mine is stuck asking for the same that was used for set up..
I even tried to set up using another iphone that has same apple id, but it's still not accepting and goes stuck at apple id screen..
When I logon to icloud, find devices, this old device don't show as linked..
Not sure what's wrong and how to solve it.

How were u able to pass the appled id screen..? Even with ipsw file am being asked same id as was used for setup, that is owner of phone, which is me only. But new pwd n same old apple id is not getting accepted. Phone is 8 yrs old.. 6s

It didn’t work for me. I have an iPhone SE and the ipsw program needed to download clearly reads in red font “This firmware is not signed. This means you cannot restore to it in iTunes”. 🥺

An update, without valid SIM card I was able to reload the operating system via iTunes. This person has it correct.
