If you forgot the passcode on your iPod touch, you might want to try out all the possibilities to unlock it without losing any data.
While that’s indeed the proper way to go, but some users don’t have such good luck, and exhausted all the chances of passcode unlocking, then iPod will show this:
It says iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes.
No worries, in this video I’ll show you 3 simple ways to unlock it.
⚠Important notice:
1. This video is only for educational purpose of showing users how to regain access to their own device when they forgot their passwords.

please i updated my ipod touch and now it is showing it cannot be activated because the activation server cannot be reach and when i try to use itunes to activate it, it asks for sim card. please i will be grateful for any assistance.

@@Slayclub7if you have a MacBook you can plug it in put the iPod in recovery mode and do that or you could do the third method

You don't have to, the best way to do it is to put your device in resore mode and conect it to itunes using your computer, then click update. When it updates you only have to wait for another hour then your device will be usable again.

But the strange thing is, that your ipod says "ipod is disabled connect to itunes with showing the date and time. but my ipod says ipod is disabled connect to itunes without showing the date and time and also the background is blurred. the only things it shows clearly is the battery and the text on the top left corner saying "ipod".
