Inspiring video! You're absolutely right about filming as often as possible. Whenever I have an extended break from flying my drone I sometimes feel like a rookie when I return to flying it again even though I've spent a lot of time learning the majority of its features. Regarding drone footage, what resolution is best for RUclips and Instagram? 4k, 2.7k or 1080p? Thanks!
Another great video with great Information Pascal. Some of these tips I haven't come across yet here on RUclips so I am sure their are many others like myself that will find this extremely valuable! Hope to see more content like this from you soon.
Hey Pascal, I know you have knowledge and infield experience about this and probably the only one who will reply so I'm asking you these questions- 1. For RUclips and digital media, should I shoot in 23.976 or 24 fps as Fujifilm offers both. I see a lot of compression in 24 fps videos but surprisingly not in 25fps (PAL) videos even on the same vp09 compression codec. Is that because many RUclipsrs are shooting in 23.976 and not in real 24 fps? 2. How to edit audio decently, like when we lower the gain to 12db while recording, how to make good audio out of it in post.Things like EQ etc. 3. I'm planning to buy the "Kase sensor clip-in Solid ND" for X-S10 but only have the budget for one strength. My lens is 2.8 at the widest (F4 full-frame equivalent), what strength do you recommend for outdoor shooting? 4. How to match drone footage to in-camera footage( say Eterna) without Color Checkers. I hope you can help me out with these doubts. Thank you!
1. 23.97, compression is bitrate and codec and doesn't have much to do with framerate. just raise your exporting bitrate or export in Prores if you have a fast internet connection as the files are huge. 2. Depends on your audio, voice etc. Just watch many tutorials and play around until it sounds the way you want. 3. ND16 4. Learn color grading. there is no way around it ;-)
Thank you very much for sharing your learning, it is very valuable for us. And you also do it in a super entertaining and creative way. I wish you much success on your channel.
Thank you for sharing, I am very excited to learn more and become a better videographer. So far I've been shooting everything on my Iphone but making the step to buy a 'real' camera feels a bit scary. What are your thoughts about the sony a7iii?
Don't be scared, it's fun. I'd rather get the a7C (actually got it) because of better colors and flip screen. Or the X-T4 if you don't film yourself that often.
Could you guys actually crop videos 2:39:1 ? Try to lower the resolution - that crop from adobe premiere JPEG looks so bad... Also a pain for 21:9 monitor guys.

Oh yeah, I can relate to that ;-)
Always 4K. I even upload my RUclips videos in 4K ProRes. But that only works with super fast internet xD
@@pascalbasel thanks for your reply. And as always, the quality videos too 👍🏼

@@pascalbasel thank you ❤
Nice video bro
Thanks
We need nore of these ❤️
Thank you 👍🏻
I agree so much on this!
What about the SONY alfa7 III ?
No flip screen and old color science. Better get the a7C or X-T4 in that price range for video.
Can xe4 be used?
Only with a gimbal and mostly in 1080P
I'm new here
👍🏻

I would do that if RUclips would allow end screens in that aspect ratio 😉
@@pascalbasel that is correct - but also 21:9 aspect ratio users are seeing double the black bars - the native crop + the JPGES.

I am from india 🇮🇳 and I am interested for your course
Thanks Omar, hope to see ya
Gg ❤️
Can xt30 be used?
With a gimbal or tripod yes, but not recommended for video.
