  • SHURE BLX 14/H10 CVL Wireless Lavalier Microphone System Review and Demo: How to record Voice for RUclips
    SHURE Wireless Microphone Review
    How to get a good quality sound of the voice in RUclips!
    Just sharing with you the Wireless System I am going to use for recording my voice in RUclips from now on. I bought it at Reverb , 299 USD shipment included. The seller was Alto Music, New York.
    You can hear the difference between the mic in the camera and the wireless system. I have also tested it outside so you can see how it performs in the distance ( app 15 meters). In the specs it says you can go as far as 300 feet.
    I am very happy with the performance of the Shure.
    THE CONTEST CONTINUES UNTIL WE ARE 3000! Remember, you can win a fantastic Focusrite Solo. Click the link below for the rules:

    Wow, that's a very good sounding lavalier mic! I already use a Shure SM57 at my desk but I wanted something to record my voice while playing in VR and I knew to look for a Shure mic! The other ones I found sounded tinny so I'm glad this one sounds great!

    Good review and good choice - I have 6 of these (with headset mics) in my work kit that we use in the school. 2½ years on, no problems with them whatsoever. Not the most sleek or discrete microphones, but they're rugged (unlike the stock Line 6 ones -
    had 3 of those break) and sound good.

    Great job Cesar! Your lavalier mic sure makes a difference with lowering the room ambience and your voice outdoors was very clear, too. 👍🏻
    It is nice to upgrade equipment isn't it? 😀 Have a great night.
    I think I am the first to comment!

    hi cesar! one question , the interface that u got below your shure is necessary? I mean, there is a difference between one and other? thanks!

    • @CesarAllGuitar
      @CesarAllGuitar  6 лет назад +1

      Hey Victor! Thanks for watching my videos! Well, if you are going to record on your computer like I do the answer is yes, you need an interface. There are very good ones in the market , mine is Focusrite 6i6 but you can find some more affordable or more expensive too depending on your needs. If you are not going to record with your computer, you just connect your output in the receiver to your camera or the PA...Thanks!

    Hi cesar..great video demo. I just got the system it came with the transmitter receiver and lav mic but i dont know how to use it. Am i to get another thing before i cam use it like the one in ur video that u connected the receiver? Plz help will like to use it with for my youtube videos with my nikon d3300 ...i hope u respond on timr thanks

    • @CesarAllGuitar
      @CesarAllGuitar  7 лет назад

      Hi Violet! Thanks for watching and for your oomment. Now- to your question: you will always need to record the voice for your videos using the system... You have several options- what you see in my video is something relatively sophisticated as I am using an audio digital interface- the Focusrite 6i6 which is the red device you see. Then I register the voice digitally with a software callled Reaper.
      But you can go an easier way- you .can connect directly your receiver to your Nikkon so you register the voice and the image in the same shot on your SD card. Let me know if it is clear ! Cheers - Cesar

      @Veeluvstocook 7 лет назад +1

      Cesar Blues Guitar thanks much for ur speedy response. Does it mean i wasted my money? I am looking to speak as i cook that is i had bought the wireless microphone system. If i attach the lavelier alone to the dslr camera it wont give me the freedom i need to be away from the camera or is it the receiver i will connect to the camera mic input like u connected to the device u are talking about. I will appreciate your help. Thanks

    • @CesarAllGuitar
      @CesarAllGuitar  7 лет назад

      Is the receiver the one you connect to your camera, so you are free to walk the room with your lavalier ( if you read my comment again you will see I mention the receiver) . So it goes like this - you are wearing your lavalier on you with the little transmitter, and the receiver is connected to the mike input of your camera... I hope is clear...

      Hi cesar. I had gotten the cable to attach directly to my dslr however, i am getting a lot of hissing sound from the recording? What am I do wrongly? Plz help. Yhe wheel you mentioned on the transmitter, is that the same as the record level (pre amp that i see in othee youtube videos on how to resuce hiss). Plz help me out because i have limited time to return this system if it does not work. Thanks

    Caesar for this mic can you help me understand what I need to do with the car chord to get the mic to work for me? Do I connect the xlr female chord to a speaker system? Then the mic works through the system? Can it be a Bluetooth speaker?

    • @BrianCaouette
      @BrianCaouette 4 года назад

      You need to run an XLR cord to your mixer or powered speaker. This is not Bluetooth.

I bought the Shure CVL Centraverse Clip-On Lavalier Condenser Microphone but realized that I need a transmitter and receiver so I am thinking about purchasing the Shure BLX14/CVL Wireless Microphone System.
