    Thanks for taking us on the ride. Exactly what the Himalayan is for. Not bad for a cheap little “burro” that keeps chugging along... 🍻

    We might have passed each other, I just got back from the Badlands, Wyoming and Colorado. I was doing on a 2005 Honda Big Ruckus, but I picked up a Himalayan this past weekend.

    Awesome video, great bike. I am buying one next month. What's your rpm at 65-70 mph? Thx.

    • @AdvMatthew

      Usually around 6000. 75 is pushing it to near the redline about 6200

      No it is not.. yes the engine look small only 411cc.. but still it can cover that much distance easily...and i guess it quite comfortable for the riders too.the only thing i see as a problem is the lack of power or speed specially when you are riding in a highway like that..with long straight roads... otherwise its a good bike..

    I was at crazy horse monument in 2008 and the only thing that has changed is the admission fee. I think it was 10 bucks back then. To bad a lot of folk feel like it has become a scam. It was an emotional experience when I went. Great video!

    • @AdvMatthew
      @AdvMatthew  4 года назад +1

      It was about 11 bucks this time. $7 to get in and $4 for the bus I think.

    Thanks for the ride.... is 6' 3" too tall for that bike do you think?

    • @AdvMatthew
      @AdvMatthew  4 года назад

      I'm 5'9" and sit pretty comfortably. But my knees get pretty cramped after a while. I can imagine the bike may not be as comfortable for a taller rider. But the best way to decide is to find one to test out.

    That was big mileage on a Himalayan in one day! Well done! I'm looking forward to part 2. Any chance of showing us a map of your rides? Asking for those of us that aren't familiar with US geography......Also are you using the standard seat? Cheers!

    • @AdvMatthew
      @AdvMatthew  4 года назад +1

      Thanks, it was a long ride but very worth it! I will look into doing that! In Part 2 I'll put a map of this entire ride. I am using the stock standard seat, yes. Cheers! Matt

      @@AdvMatthew Thanks. I'm happy with the standard seat too, but many complain about it being uncomfortable. See you in part 2! Cheers!

    • @AdvMatthew
      @AdvMatthew  4 года назад

      I usually reach my bladder capacity or fuel range at just about the same time my butt gets tired of the seat. So I have no intention of changing the seat myself. It could be more comfortable I guess but it works for me.
