    Someone once told me that a good teacher can provide relevant example sentences. I've seen a few of these now and the example sentences are really great. My conclusion is Miku-sensei is a really great teacher. Please keep up this excellent series.

    This is right in line with what we are learning in my Japanese 2 class, and I struggle to speak outside of class. These videos are really helping me to connect the dots. Thank you for the practice, it's helping to reinforce what we're learning in class! Particles, places, and order are hard, but this is great!

    So the form of the last verb will determine the meaning of the sentence? Like if I want to say "I didn't do... Didn't go... Didn't eat" only the last verb (in my example is "eat") needs to be たべない

    Can anyone explain at 4:25, why で was used in "スーパーでケーキをかってかえる。" instead of "スーパーに..." ?
    And on no 10 as well, why was "カラオケで" used instead of カラオケに ?

    In the first sentence of Test It, the verb 買う is written as kau because it is in formally?

      you mean the did shopping one? to do shopping is 買い物する, and it's past tense so 買い物した!+ 買う (dictionary form) it's actually informally, hope that's what you meant and this helps

    Hi! Miku! Thank you so much for your helpful grammar videos. I have a question regarding vocabulary in the video. What is the difference between 大学 and 専門学校? In one of the examples, you translated "College" into "大学"? I have always though that 大学 means University. Thanks in advance~^^~

      Isn't College another way of saying University in the English Language?
      About 専門学校, it appears to be a technical school.

      I said ツナ!! So when it's sashimi and we eat tuna as raw fish, we call it まぐろ. But when it's tuna flake and it's in a sandwich, we call it ツナ。
