    I love that when the bird hit the window, you didn’t break out of English lol. I would have thought your exclamations would always be in Japanese. But you stayed in teacher mode!

    I'm N2 level and I'm so glad I found your videos because they're going over things I mostly already know, but they're done so well that they're allowing me to finally be able to use what I know. The listening portions and the part where you ask us to output are especially good but you keep everything balanced well. 素晴らしい先生です!ミク先生、ありがとう!

    You churn out such high quality instructive videos. Great way to get started in learning the language and avoiding the often stilted "kore-wan-hon-desu" approach. When you said, "The bird hit my window!" I can't help thinking of the bird tweeting "Atamaga itaii desu!"

    You are gorgeous..thank you so much for this clear explanation. I do have a question that...
    ***たことがある
    could be used in the same meaning with the ***てた one??

    • @kernfel
      @kernfel 4 года назад

      〜たことがある doesn't describe an ongoing or habitual action, it only describes having done ~ at some point in the past. This is perhaps clearer when you turn it into a question: X したことがありますか? roughly translates to "Have you ever done X?"
      ... or, at any rate, that's my understanding of it.

    While pronouncing しっています... Why isn't there an emphasis on て. Should it be like a tt sound because of the っ before it? I thought it would be pronounced at shitteimasu(and Google translate also said the same...which I don't usually trust for translations)....but apparently not.
