Totally agree, I stood in front of him for several shows out in California with Badlands. Got to meet him after one of the shows. Then saw him with Wicked Alliance in upstate NY. Again planted myself right in front of him. Highlight of the show was when he recognized me in the middle of the set and said "what are you doing here?" We talked briefly after the show. My jaw drops watching him play every time. As a fan I love seeing them in the small venues where I can get up close. However, I would love to see them in the bigger venues, then we, as fans, know our favorite bands or musicians made it big time.
I have #2 JEL Friedman ...on 100 watts (hundy mode) volume on 2.5 gain on 5, it shakes my house!! LOL Jake and Dave Friedman have created the Ultimate tube amp...!!
One of the most tasteful guitarists to come out of the 80's Era and is always a gentleman, but tells it like he sees it, good or bad. Love his interview on Tone Talk with Dave Friedman & Mark Huzansky
Thank you Kato & Elvis for filming and uploading this. I have followed Jake since 1984 and Bark at the Moon.. He has never toured Australia with Ozzy, Badlands, RDC which is a shame so I have never seen him live. I know he has said in interviews he'd never resurrect BADLANDS as Ray was his muse, but I think MYLES KENNEDY could help him resurrect BADLANDS, write new BADLANDS music and play the BADLANDS songs that deserve to be played in memory of Ray🤘. Please pass this onto JAKE and thank him for his musical brilliance as he is one of the most talented and underrated musical genius of our time.
I was fortunate enough to see Jackie Lee two times once in 1984 when motley Crue opened up for Ozzy and once in 1986 with Metallica as an opening act I asked Jake for his autograph and instead of that he gave me five guitar picks! It was a real treat to see him live maybe you'll get your chance someday
Jake is on fire during this show! The band is tight as well. Long live Jake E Lee & Red Dragon Cartel! Thanks for this gem. After the show Jake's guitar filed assault charges!
Thank you for posting! Always a treat to watch Mr Lee doing his thing! I tell ya high wire never gets old! My band mates are sick of that opening riff; I play it every sound check🤘🏼!
Much thanks for posting this 🙏. Great footage. Witnessing the legend right in front of our eyes. I own both RDC albums which are Great, next on my bucket list is a guitar pick!
Im so glad he didn't spend the rest of his days in hibernation mode!!🤘😁 Its so killer to see him up there enjoying himself giving us more of the Jake magic that he still has left in the tank!! Thank you Jake!!🤘☢🤘
Jake E. Lee is pure magic. Love his tone!! his riffs his magic on Stage!!! he is hitting the stage with a great playing and moves!!!! a true guitar hero!!! Great great songs too
Thanks for sharing this is fantastic. Now go out and support this great band by buying there music, merchandise and ticket to a show.Patina is a masterpiece!!
I bought the excellent Patina album after watching this superb gig . I saw Jake with Ozzy at Newcastle Mayfair ( Carmine Appice on drums ) and Castle Donnington festival ( Tommy Aldridge on drums ) plus a Badlands show at Newcastle Riverside club , always terrific . I'm totally digging this Red Dragon Cartel band and material .
Jake E Lee a Master Guitarist and Song Writer. A True Down to Earth and Humble Human Being. He deserve all the upmost Respect in the World. He Worked very hard in the Music world for over 40 years. And like everyone he has his ups and downs. Regardless what Sharon and Ozzy did to Jake at his young career was shameful. In the End Jake will always have Class.!!! Something Sharon and Ozzy shall never Have. I do hope Jake will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This Legend Earned it.!!!
Had that same seat in the Wicked Alliance days! Hung out with him and shared a bottle of yager while he was sighing everyones stuff. Such a down to earth guy who has plenty of time for his fans. Such an amazing talent and super cool dude I LOVE YOU JAKE!
Hoping for a speedy recovery. Jake was always my favorite Ozzy guitarist. And in a parallel universe, Badlands was the second coming of Zeppelin. Such a nasty tone. And he hasn't lost a step.
Thank you Elvis for capturing this concert and sharing it with us. Greatly appreciated during this time of COVID and looking forward to seeing Jake and the rest of the band live. When are they coming to Tampa, FL or anywhere close?
Once something you live gets some time to sink in, it gets in your blood. Could be truckdriving. Could be traveling. Could be playing the guitar. No matter how old you get and how long you've been doing it, no matter how much pain, trouble, financial loss, etc., etc., ~ it's what you know. You only have two choices. Sit at home and dwell on the past, which will not change a thing, or just keep doing what you love until you can do it no more. I bet that year of lockdown was pretty hard on traveling musicians and such. Artists, not so much, but travelers... yeah. Jake E will do this til the day he dies. I'm glad to say I got to meet him at the NAMM show in the late 80', early 90's. He had been listening to me play, and watching. We talked for a while. I had a great guitar teacher at the time and I had already been playing 20 years. Out of all the 'musicians' I met that day, Jake E lee... well... and Steve Vai, were the most chill dudes ever. Got to jam with Vai. Nobody even knew who he was back then, including me. I sort of knew a little, but he really hadn't exploded on the scene yet. This was in the Yngwie "Steeler" and Graham Bonnett days.. can't remember the name of that band. Yngwie had issues with everyone in the band.. or they with him, not sure. Meh.. my memory is shot anyway. I did meet Jake, just one on one, and I did jam with Vai on a Boogie Mesa for quite a while. We had headphones on.. both of us... lol
Excellent video, sound and performance. I just wish the camera was rotated about 32 degrees to the left so we can see the Bass Player instead of Jake's amps and all of the "nothing" on the right side of the screen
That's wierd as hell, dont you think? Is it the vocalist? I dont know much Exodus, I got the BLOOD IN BLOOD OUT cd and my ears got rocked into bloody stumps. Cool band. I checked em out because Gary Holt pulled the Slayer gig. RDC is kicking ass as well.
Jake is a phenomenal guitarist and it just sucks that he has not been elevated to the status he has earned. Yes those of us that have followed him through out his years know the true musician he is but IMO he is not where he should have been. Ozzy, Badlands, RDC and solo stuff is what legends are made of.
Jesus, Jake is a beast. I have not heard anyone own a guitar that much in decades. He destroys that instrument. He digs into it. It needs some aspirin and a cigarette after that.
Jake is one of the most underrated guitarists in my opinion... all the little details and variations in his style of playing are so sophisticated and his tone is really outstanding. By the way... can anyone tell me, what's the second pot on his whitey is for? Is it an added tone-pot or a volume for middle or neck pickup? Thanks for sharing the video!!! - Great capture!!
0:59 - Wasted
6:41 - Havana
11:31 - Punch Clown
17:48 - Speedbag
21:49 - Bitter
26:42 - Chasing Ghosts (my favorite)
32:33 - 3 Day Funk (Badlands)
37:47 - The Luxury of Breathing
43:00 - Drum Solo
47:45 - Crooked Man
52:30 - Spiders (Ozzy)
58:50 - Ink & Water
1:06:37 - Highwire (Badlands)
1:11:28 - Feeder
1:15:26 - Awesome jammy section
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Jake!
Standing in front of Jake’s amps is a life changing event!
Been there... it’s brutal, and beautiful!!!
Been there - 1989 Badlands tour in a tiny club. Jake's 4 orange Marshalls nearly made my ears bleed, but I couldn't move.
Totally agree, I stood in front of him for several shows out in California with Badlands. Got to meet him after one of the shows. Then saw him with Wicked Alliance in upstate NY. Funny you should say that, i saw Ozzy when Jake took over around 82, i was in the 3rd row and never thought about Randy Roads again.
Agreed. So loud you can actually hear and FEEL Jake's guitar in your brain! So loud!
Jake E Lee True Legend and very humble guy. Awesome
Love Jake!! Well said!!🤘☢🤘

I saw Jake in 1984 with Ozzy, ask for his autograph and he gave me five guitar picks!
"Humble"??? are you joking or just high? He is anything but Humble!
@@Murphy_R9 The one interaction I had with him, he was a sarcastic ass.
昨年、どうしても観たかったのに仕事で観れなかったので、up本当にありがたいです❗️しかも画質も良くて最高です。やっぱりJAKEかっこよすぎて‥この距離で観たかった涙
Ahhh the joy of experiencing the Jake E. Lee signature Friedman amp cranked to 10 from the front row!! Thanks for the upload.
One of the most tasteful guitarists to come out of the 80's Era and is always a gentleman, but tells it like he sees it, good or bad. Love his interview on Tone Talk with Dave Friedman & Mark Huzansky
That interview was LEGEND!!!! What a rip!
It made me like Jake E. Lee even MORE!!!!

Sooo melodic. That technique.....aaahhh !

I was reading this while having my morning coffee, which I almost spit out on your last sentence🤣🤣🤣 thanks for the laugh🤘
I mean he's broken quite a few necks like that lol.
Thanks for posting this video! Great job🤘
Thank you for posting! Always a treat to watch Mr Lee doing his thing! I tell ya high wire never gets old! My band mates are sick of that opening riff; I play it every sound check🤘🏼!
MISSING YOU JAKE SO MUCH........ GET WELL SOON AND RETURN TO JAPAN!! WAITING FOR YOU FOREVER!!
Wow this was really awesome! Awesome is a gross understatement. It's more like kickass Epic!! What a great live show. Jake is a guitar god for sure.
And he's a Hendrix fan. Hendrix was the one guitarist who influenced him to pick up the guitar. He says so in an interview.
Jake is still so good! Give him a world class lead singer and he would conquer the world and melt the faces of the masses.
That's what he needs, yes!
Thanks for sharing this vdo. It is a really good vdo for those who learn how to play guitar.
love that this guy still puts out new stuff that rocks..you have fans who want and like your new stuff.
Much thanks for posting this 🙏.
Great footage.

Jake.Eさん・・80年代と同じく動きキレッキレッやね~^^
動画アップして頂きありがとうございます^^
Haha I love that Jake still moves on stage the same way he did with Ozzie back in the 80s!
Just watching Mr. Lee's playing gives me hand cramps. Always been an innovative player. So glad you're back!
Actually I found constantly scrolling on my IPhone far worse on my thumb than playing guitar/chugging palm mutes for hours 🤷🏼♂️
Rock solid! :)
What a kick ass band!! Everyone on that stage is excellent! Love Jake E. Lee!!
Not many Guitar Legends left...enjoy it!
Jake E. Lee is pure magic. Love his tone!! his riffs his magic on Stage!!! he is hitting the stage with a great playing and moves!!!! a true guitar hero!!! Great great songs too
These were some great shows right before COVID. Hopefully he'll get back out with this same lineup and do some shows.
What a unique way of setting his amps. Makes so much sense sonically
Great video! Thanks!
Jake is a gem, my prayers!
Thanks for sharing this is fantastic. Now go out and support this great band by buying there music, merchandise and ticket to a show.Patina is a masterpiece!!
I had this exact view when I saw them in Philadelphia. Jake is still a powerhouse of a player! Band was great!!!
Thank you so much for posting this! : ) SO AWESOME, on so many levels!
Been a Lee fan a really long, long time. Love this band also.
I bought the excellent Patina album after watching this superb gig . Good call he doesn’t get enough credit.
@jeremyziegenhorn5992 Darren James Smith. Harem Scarem. Local band. Cheers.
...I wonder what would happen if you trimmed this down to three piece..with Glenn Hughes handling bass and vocals?
That is a wicked cool thought.
Exactly 👍🏾
Don't tease us Man ;-)
@Jan Swanson Now you're talkin!
Wow I can totally see that.
Thanks for posting this. RDC kicked fucking ass when I saw them in Teaneck NJ in 2019

This band rocks! I'm a huge fan of Jake. My dream is go in the show of them. Fucking good! Thanks for share.
1st time I saw Jake live was with Ozzy Osbourne at US FESTIVAL HEAVY METAL SUNDAY 29 May 1983.
He was and still is a monster live.
Damn! how old are you, like a 100?
Thank you Elvis for capturing this concert and sharing it with us. Greatly appreciated during this time of COVID and looking forward to seeing Jake and the rest of the band live. When are they coming to Tampa, FL or anywhere close?
Nice to hear some Badlands!
Jake where are you?!!!!! We need you out there rockin it! Come to Libertyville IL, Impact Fuel Room

Jake is of my first guitar heroes...and with good reason lol
Very cool 😮 I wonder if that's the same guitar he had during Ozzys Bark at the moon tour. Sure looks like it. 🤔🇨🇦❤
This version of Jake"s band does sound a lot like Exodus at times. The first song is a great example of this, i feel.
