Jake E Lee! Living legend. He's just a quiet mild mannered dude until the playing starts. Then the beast comes out! Rips into the guitar like no other. You guys agree? Always awesome.
When this popped up as recommended. It reminded me when I met Jake & the band years ago. They were great. Especially, since I never got to see Badlands. RIP Ray. Some People don't know what they're missing.
Admittedly I never really appreciated Mr. Lee until a band I was in covered this tune. I had seen him perform as the guitarist for Rough Cutt one night in 1982 at the Troubadour opening for WASP.
Love anything from Jake E Lee... That's all I can say except. I don't know who that singer is, but, he's way above average... He impressed the hell outta me...
Hmm i saw this vocalist before and wasn't impressed but here he is good. And i saw the original Ray Gillen with Badlands in 1992 UK stood 1 foot away from him and he was incredible. WE listened to their soundcheck, and there was no way of telling he was ill.
Jake E. Lee is one of the most underappreciated Guitarists alive. I think only Lesley West gets less attention from the music press, and music industry as a whole, than Jake.
Jake had the hardest job in rock ‘n’ roll to replace Randy Rhodes and get it done. Too bad Ozzie and his piece of dung Wife gave him no credit for songwriting.
Badlands were such an underrated band.
I was fortunate enough to be front row for badlands back in the day…what a show!!

That’s exactly how they described him in magazines in the mid 80s, he’s awesome. My favorite guitarist. Great guy.
1990. I wish you well. The BEST!
That singer hitting those Gillen notes...impressive. And Jake's what, 60+ years old here? And playing with that kind of energy! The man!
Darren Smith is the singer. He plays drums for the band Harem Scarem. Just one of those talented dudes!
Big props to this singer. Hitting anything close to Ray's notes is something to be proud of. Great job!
The singer is Darren Smith, He's actually the drummer for Harem Scarem. He's just one of those musicians that can do it all.
He was 62 when this came out and he still shredded it!!!
You all are tight as hell, but come on for the Singer, Ray left a legacy of almost-unapproachable highs and you hit them all!
loved badlands, this is my favorite song. singer has the range, rip ray. jake is a legend.
This singer sucks. No where near Rays range
Righteous rockers, yes sir. Loved the whole package.
Shout out for the sound crew, crisp, clear and cutting.
I have the three Badlands albums and they're all excellent. Jake was and is a great rock player, even at his current age.

Best damn band I have ever seen and I went to the bark at the moon concert in the earlie 80 s
JUST LISTEN TO THAT,its 2022 he's still tearing it up,man those chords,JAKE thanks
I saw badlands at a public baseball field in AZ. Sick.
Admittedly I never really appreciated Mr. Lee until a band I was in covered this tune. I had seen him perform as the guitarist for Rough Cutt one night in 1982 at the Troubadour opening for WASP.
singer is pretty badass. Hitting those notes on point!
he is hitting the notes but there is nothing special about his voice
@@billwren5033 well no one will ever sing like Ray Gillen. Period. One of a kind.
I believe this is tuned one step down from the original
@@gfgranjait’s not

And... dude was knowingly spreading the disease as Anthrax would say.
Darren was killing it ,that was dope .
Jake is and will be the man
Recover soon brother, love ya jake
Still need to see Jake E Lee do this in the UK
I fucking love everyone of you talented men 🤟😎🤘
Jake E. Lee is one of the most underappreciated Guitarists alive. I think only Lesley West gets less attention from the music press, and music industry as a whole, than Jake.
John Sykes is another very under appreciated guitarist.
Bad ass
Jakie Lee Man. love ya bra!
The southern Ontario rock star vocal CORDS give er Mr Smith
Fucken Ay!
I saw the original lineup live in 89. That drummer nailed Eric Singer. Nice job.
Jake looks like he's 60 years old but still sets the 6 string on fire
😉 He's 65 years.
Jake rocks!!!
The drummer ex saigon kick and skid row
Killer Solo
JAKEeLEE 👍👍👍
Atta man holding the Mike standing up 🤟⚡🇬🇧🇨🇦🥾🩴🍻🛸
love the bands who work in teams, 4:51 Jake made a cue to Phil Varone to start the part..
R D C 2022
Check out "Legal kill" cover this
I would love to see Jake but I kept looking for Badlands not realizing the band is now RDC.
What means ‘High Wire’ ?
Singers struggling to sing. 🎤 but Jake E lees a bad man🎸
Missing. . . .
Jake had the hardest job in rock ‘n’ roll to replace Randy Rhodes and get it done. Too bad Ozzie and his piece of dung Wife gave him no credit for songwriting.
Need a better singer for jakes band
Jake is still playing well. That singer is killing me though.
Reading damn lyrics and acting like grandpa whose angina is acting up.
Jake is a legend! I actually like this singer for this song better than the original recording
The live version is very good and he has a great vocal range but his vibrato and legato don't come close to the wonderful Ray Gillen.
Who is in this band? They should get that guy from journey. I don't mean steve.
I think Phil Varone on drums and anthony esposito on bass, the singer is drummer from harem scarem
FUCK no! This s a ROCK BAND! Not a pop band.
Drummer was awful and had no energy at all.
I agree singers struggling. Jake’s bad ass
This singer is OK , but Jake could've gotten much better
Jake, for the love of music, GET A NEW VOCALIST !!! This one sucks bad !!!!
The singer ruins it for me. I saw Badlands a few times back in the day so I guess I'm biased.
