I watched a show of Jake's latest band on You Tube at a very small club. After the show a fan asked Jake what happened with Ozzy. Jake said Sharon promised him everything without Jake signing a contract. After Bark at the moon was recorded Sharon brought out the contract. Jake said this isn't what you promised me. What if I don't sign this? She said we will get another guitar player and give him credit for your work. Jake said I sure the hell wasn't gonna let that happen. Jake shrugged his shoulders, held up his hands and said what do you do? He went along with it. No song writing credits and didn't get paid either. Before the next album, The Ultimate Sin, Jake made sure he had a contract in his hand before he wrote or recorded anything. Then he left after the Ultimate sin tour. It makes me wonder where Randy Rhoads royalties went to, probably straight into Sharon's bank account.

What’s rarely mentioned about Jake - is his life off stage and away from music as well. He is a talented auto mechanic and tuner. Has restored several classic 70’s award winning muscle cars. Took a smashed, fire-raveged Olds 442 with no motor that was piled up in pieces on a 10’ flatbed trailer and rebuilt it from ground up. Sold for big money through Barrett-Jackson and the car won several awards.

Ozzy would never have made it as far as he did if it had not been for the guitar players (HEROES) in his career. I don't think there never has been such a lucky man as Ozzy in the music business.
Saw Ozzy on the first tour with Zakk Wyde and thought Zakk was the bomb. But to be honest.. I grew up in the late 80’s with Jake E Lee’s masterful guitar work and didn’t appreciate the genius he was..and is. Amazing fingerwork.
Bark At The Moon is the first Ozzy album I ever had and one of the first albums all together I got as a little kid at seven years old. Thirty three years later Bark At The Moon is still one of my all time favorite albums and Jake E Lee is still my favorite Ozzy guitar player ever. I love Randy , and I love Blizzard Of Ozz and especially Diary Of A Madman. Bark At The Moon will most likely always be my favorite Ozzy album. I also really love The Ultimate Sin and all the Badlands albums. Red Dragon Cartel is great also. Jake E Lee is just a PHENOMENAL guitar player!!!
To me, Jake is by far the most accurate in playing Randy’s solos; the harmonic-content is the hardest to duplicate, 😊 and gives away someone just playing the notes…
Jake ur awesome u didn't need to use that flashiness or add fills to Randy's stuff....but u did it justice. 07:17 was a brilliant solo cept at one point he's doing a run of bad notes 07:45 that run is out of key with the rest of his solo but still. I remember Ozzy was complaining Rudy was moving around too much on the stage..so sharon told him and after that he just stayed in that spot not moving much.. wonder what did she see in Jake??

El mejor que ha tenido ozzy...
My god brother what an awesome compilation whoever put this together.... that's truly amazing..Jake E Lee is probably watching it and s******* himself its so good
jake is a monster!
Ozzy would never have made it as far as he did if it had not been for the guitar players (HEROES) in his career. I don't think there never has been such a lucky man as Ozzy in the music business.
And the Arden clan.
Saw Ozzy on the first tour with Zakk Wyde and thought Zakk was the bomb. But to be honest.. I grew up in the late 80’s with Jake E Lee’s masterful guitar work and didn’t appreciate the genius he was..and is. Amazing fingerwork.
My god this brings back memories. Jake's crazy-good looks and sexy moves used to make me lose my mind! Nobody does it like him.
Jack E.Lee the master !!! 🔥🔥
IMHO Jake is ozzys greatest guitar player.
Life consists of moments that never return! we enjoy these moments on video !
Jake is monster on that beast on that guitar 🎸
All of Ozzy's guitarists are legends!!!
Awesome🎸🍾🍒
The best guitarist Ozzy ever had
Phenomenal shredding shredder!
Jake is tops!
Now who's that guy Zak?
Damn he was good, how easy it is to forget
My all time fav axe man.............. U rock Jake!
Jake is such a bad ass! He worked well w/ Bob Daisley which I loved and Badlands was so awesome!
The fucking best!!!
Absolute beast of a player and a great guy
One of the best ever .
You are 100% right on the money man 👍👍
Jake is the man..............what was Ozzy, or I mean Sharon thinking?????
Best guitarist of the 80s
Best metal guitarrist
To me, Jake is by far the most accurate in playing Randy’s solos; the harmonic-content is the hardest to duplicate, 😊 and gives away someone just playing the notes…
That was F*cking incredible, man, wow...never saw that BATM footage so clear a mixed, all KNOCKOUTS...can you get us the source vid?
Regardless of all the shit that Jake E. Lee talks
He was without a doubt one of the best to ever do it
Incredible good guitarist and he was the best hair in Badlands era :)))
Randy and Jake - right there with VH and Schenker. Not too many others.
Twotontessie My thoughts exactly!
