Plant Growth is on there because a huge part of the theme is the regrowth that comes after a fire. I think it's a very thematic inclusion, especially considering how many fire spells you get I can live with that trade
This is fair. But counterpoint: Fireball
5:50, using firebolt with Wisdom can also be done with Strixhaven Initiate or the newer kobold.
Interesting 🤔 definitely something to consider. And I still get to be size small. Which I like for two of my strategies. 1 Mold Earth instant full cover. 2 cast fog at just above eye height. That way all Medium creatures can't see me and I have advantage. Or they have to go prone and I get advantage. And they can't move fast.
As strange as it sounds, Wildfire is about desteuction (through fire) and rebirth (which happens after the destruction) so it makes sense to have some healing spells as well.
I know Firebolt is better combat Cantrip than Produce Flame, but not sure if it warrants 1 lv dip to Arcane Cleric.
I alway wonder, what were WotC people were thinking when they come up with Bark Skin, which is infinitely inferior to Mage Armor in most way.
So if you think you need moar armor, ask Wizard nicely with 1 spell slot worth of Goodberry to cast Mage Armor on you so you can save Consentration and 2nd lv spell slot.
Boost for the algorithm
I'm thinking about doing a Swashbuckling Rogue wildfire druid. Gnome. I was thinking he could be acting like Sir Didymus from the movie The labyrinth, as well as Spider-Man and Deadpool. He would be using his minor illusion spell to look like Ghost Rider. Not sure how powerful he'd actually be. Any suggestions to help with that.
Bro you just go nuts. Sir Didymis is a character that will fit in SO well for D&D
I’m playing a Djinn Sorlock and my friend is playing a wildfire Druid. I’m starting to think that my repelling blast plus quicken spell combined with wall of fire is broken.
Yeah that is pretty gnarly
How are you getting a 17, 15, 13 from standard array?
Modified standard array. It's used by tons of people both on YT and home games. Since everyone does stats differently, there may be adjustments that need to be made at each individual table
Plantgrowth = wildfire. Idk what to tell you
5:20 Why do we need a cantrip that is fire damage? It only weakens the class in my opinion, since if you face something with fire resist then the cantrip and the extra spells as well as your pet damage are useless anyway. Diversify, I always say. Now we could say that it is more thematic, but to take another class for the fire bolt cantrip seems a bit overkill. I'd rather have my pet at level 2, than fire bolt at level 1 and pet at level 3.
