Recently found the channel and subscribed. I love deep dives on classes, subclasses, and character building. Thanks for putting in the work. It’s clear you spend time, energy and thought.
But if I may… while I recognize some choices may be just for fun or an interesting synergy of unique features, this is neither.
Cleric 3 at maximum. And it’s not for spiritual weapon (especially on a stars Druid) but for Aid. Upcast Aid and use 2nd level slots for spike growth and summon beast.
I’d love to see you paint a picture of what you think combat looks like at certain levels. That might help bring the vision of the character to life. As I watch this video, I just can’t understand what you’re imagining for such a jumbled mess of tactics.
And all that said… yes, still love the channel and the breakdowns. Please keep it up. I’ll be going through your videos.
My minds just wandering, but how high could we pump that AC with Thri-Kreen? Bladesinger looks interesting here, let's us add in shield. 😮
I'm curently doing: Custom Lineage with Fey touched, Quandrix Student, 1 Twilight Cleric, 2 Druid of Stars, then proceed with Twilight Cleric, it's focused on archer, thought. I'd love to know what's your tips on this one, if there's a video. (:
That sounds like fun! I covered the Twilight Cleric in these two videos:

ruclips.net/video/Gmt7KItXZi8/видео.html
Both subclasses are quite potent! Should be a fun character!
How are you getting around the heavy armor strength requirement with a score of 10?
Like I said in the video, it is an optional way to play. You can wear it due to the proficiency but your speed would be reduced by 10 ft. The Dwarf is another racial option that would remedy this, although you still would only have a speed of 25 feet in that case.
Who plays to 20? How would you handle this build for a 3-10 campaign? Straight Stars Druid, Life Cleric 1/Stars Druid 9, or Stars Druid 2/Life Cleric 8?
For level 10 I would probably start with 1 level of Cleric and then the rest in Druid. That way you get the boost to healing from the start. Either way is totally viable though.
@@DapperSnapperGaming Appreciate the reply
I would do 10 in Stars druid. The reason is you can get some powerful spells added with the right race / background, and there are strong feats like remarkable recovery (from the critical roll book)
Simple build yes. But that's a lot of levels.
Yes but it also gives many crucial spells and makes you and your party incredibly hard to kill
