I have only to level 2 with my stars druid, but I think you over estimate the chalice form a bit, at least for early levels. The druid's best healing spells for early levels are probably Goodberry and Healing Word. Both of those spells don't work well with chalice. The form clearly states that you have to cast a spell to gain the benefit, so berries from good berry would not gain the benefit. Although healing word would gain the benefit of chalice, it requires a bonus action to cast, which means you can't cast it the same turn you active the chalice form. In effect you would have to know you want to use chalice at least one turn in advance choose to activate the form and then wait to use it with healing word. Obviously Cure Wounds would work fine, but that comes with its normal drawbacks of range and taking your action to cast.
I saw a RUclips video why the guy used this with Dragonborn to make a Flying Dragon thay could breath the appropriate breath weapon. He re-flavored wild shapes into things that look like dragons. Another one was where the guy leaned into the Woe ability. To debuff the bad guys.
@@DapperSnapperGaming it's hard to go wrong with Druids. OH NO I CHOSE THE WRONG SPELLS FOR MY CAMPAIGN!!!!! No problem 👍. Long Rest, reselect spells. Problem solved.
You can also Wild Shape while in Starry Form. That way you have the benefits of both combined. Yes it uses up both of your Wild Shapes. But you are a Druid. You get them back on a short rest.
I could totally see a strong multiclass with a 1 lvl dip in order cleric and 3 (upto a max of 5lvls) lvl dip in any warlock with the rest in druid. Although it does also have some synergy with rune knight 😅😮 so many good options 🤔🧐what to choose, what to choose?!?!
Weal and Woe doesn’t work like that. You must use your reaction BEFORE the outcome is known. Therefore, you might just waste it. I don’t think it’s a bad feature but it’s more like 6/10. Also, spiritual weapon is a terrible spell. Especially for a Druid who should be using spike growth or summon beast with their 2nd level slots.

Yeah there are a bunch of different ways to go about this and pretty much all of them are good

This is true. Honestly though I'd rather maintain my ability to cast spells unless I am doing something cheeky with burrow speeds or something
@@DapperSnapperGaming although being an arrow shooting, 🌠 🐻 is pretty cool 😎.
