Elven accuracy via woodelf would make it easier to land those sharpshooter shots, add in 3 levels of rogue at level 8, giving you expertise in stealth and cunning action hide to get advantage every round makes it consistent too. Not to mention the thematic spike if you go for assassin wherein the first draw usually ends up with one guy dead. After getting that rogue subclass, level fighter up to get your second extra attack and just continue leveling your rogue. At the end you'll end up with an 11gunslinger/9 assassin character which will have 20 dex, 20 wis, and and 1 free asi which you can use for whatever.
At level 10 with standard array, in the first round, you can nova out 14d10 + 4d6 + 56 damage using your grit to vicious shot 3 of your attacks all the while having all of your shots have super advantage making it impossible to misfire or plain old miss even with sharpshooter. Also helps with crit fishing helping you generate those grit points.
Two feats (firearm specialists and dualwielding) just to get bonus action attack for a pistol is kinda weak but if you're going for full fighter then sure. Battlemaster are defo better than gunslinger for four reasons, 1) they have more superiority dices and it improves over time 2) their manuevers adds their superiority die to their damage, 3) their superiority die isn't reliant on a stat thus allowing you to use your ASIs for more features, 4) they aren't shoehorned into guns which has the property of misfiring which is debilitating.

Very informative video but why are there like 10 minutes of blank screen on the end?

The proficiency bonus scales with your character level. From level 1-4, the prof. bonus is a +2. The bonus then increases by +1 at levels 5 (+3), 9 (+4), 13 (+5), and 17 (+4).

I can’t even begin to imagine multiclassing. Landing a crit with the rogue sneak attack modifier? Yikes!!

I think that it's nothing to worry about. With the 19-20 crit. range being at 18th the rogue wouldn't get more then 1d6 sneak attack damage dice.

@@challengeratingepic Still one of my players is playing a gunsling and I think 18 fighter and 2 rogue is a strong multiclass given the cunning action ability. The only time he ends up in any form of trouble is when he actually gets crowded because he has the sharpshooter feat to avoid cover. I also allowed him to grab the CQC shooter fighting style from UA so the only thing that screws him is when hes stuck trying to avoid Opportunity attacks.
