This is type ak that a working person could own. Someone that enjoys the style and 7.62 by 39 that doesn't feel the need to hear up and pretend to be a member of seal team 6 . Some these tactaturds getting ready for the zombies that think you have an original taken from the Taliban or a Russian don't or can't realize dead is dead it doesn't matter the name stamped on the metal it's the ability of the person holding the metal. I see them every time I go to my local range with their tacticool ars,aks shotguns, pistols all dressed up with latest crap hanging all over they themselves are wearing surplus gear bought from the store. Out there practicing drills and can't hit the broad side of a barn while standing on the roof.its enough to make a person just want to leave

You’ll get around 20,000 rounds out of the barrel before she needs a barrel replacement. Which is about 150 dollars from a smith. Makes this rifle a stupid good deal imo

Damn I was just looking at this AK yesterday at PSA and it's only $629 and this video is 2 years old so in 2 years in this horrible inflation economy and only went up 30 bucks not bad... well plus the $30 fee at whatever FFL you get it shipped to

No trigger close to the alg. I have a ul in one and el in the pistol. They are both awesome. Get el. You won’t find ul in stock anywhere and you can’t tell the difference.

I bought mine about a year or so ago and have put 1000 rounds through it without malfunctions and the rifle itself is good, besides the AK-74 firing pin issues I've been seeing a lot of people bashing PSA, maybe their QA and customer service has suffered during the pandemic? Im not sure
You can thank RUclipsrs that don't know 💩 about AKs _(Actually just one RUclipsr who published a problem with the PSA even tho its completely normal)_ and Reddit of course.
Psa has always has bad customer service. Gotta take the good with the bad. You get a great product at an unbeatable price. Just know going into it that it won’t ship for close to a week and don’t bother calling.
They have always had QC issues, they have used cast parts and got caught, now they are using forged but their qc on headspacing and heat treatment is extremely poor

The right side trunnion west has stopped and smoothed out and not progressed in EVERY SINGLE ONE. Your just hating just to hate 😂

Don't buy PSA they cut too many corners, dozens of examples out there of how poorly built they are.

Im putting one through its paces as my Alaska bush weapon. We shall see.. I was also under the impression PTR G3s were the t-i-ts but that proved to be a huge piece of junk and an utter waste of money........
You may have got a lemon. Has it been looked at. It’s a lifetime warranty. I don’t think your lying, but the overwhelming majority of these are foolproof. Send it back. It’s a pain but get it looked at. You will love it once it’s straightened out!

I have a Russian AK and SKS and I am considering selling the SKS. The practicality is just not there for me anymore compared to 30 round mags. It is a really nice rifle though.
I have the rifle and just orders the blem pistol. These are the best priced ak deals you will find. Way way better than century arms or wasr. It’s a steal at $750 yet alone 599

i think everyone should own both 5.56 and 7.62. can you get a bigger charging handle though? these are now $699. plus shipping than also ffl tax.
Maybe now I can actually get me an AK-47 by this coming summer, if they drop down a little more in price, to around the same price as a budget AR-15 but they are still reasonably priced at this time

Make that wish a reality. They won’t last long. The odg blem pistol for 759 lasted 2-3 days and probably because it was the week after Christmas or it would of been a day and half.

Russian military stopped using that cartridge. It may be no longer. I’d not buy the rifle, unless your looking for a collectors item. And Brandon banned Russian ammo so your in an uphill fight.
5.56 is the way to go honestly, but if you’re trying to get a 74, Meridian or Rifle Dynamics is the way to go for a perfect rifle, if you want a good to great rifle PSA is making some good 74’s now.
Honestly though Zastava M90 is a good option for a lighter caliber rifle, they do get heavy fast though.

@@davidjackson1141 Haven't tested mine yet but I sold my 7.5 basic AR because it didn't like steel (trash) to get this. If you want to add a good sight over a red dot I recommend Primary Arms PAC 2.5 because the mount has a hole that lets you use the iron sights.

So I’ve been looking into that pac 2.5. I really like it. I don’t like super technical and it seems right. I’m trying get a feel on it’s actual size but I like this idea over a red dot even though it’s a fair amount more. What exactly do you mean about the mount allowing you to use iron sights. I saw it has a bayonet lug but I've heard that some PSA AKs won't take one even with the lug

@@justsayin7937 They have heat treatment issues that both show is a major issues and their are not making the firing pin holes the correct size causing light primer strikes and breaking the firing pins. The one sent to G thumb was loosing its headspacing, clearly didnt watch his video.
@@zack9912000 It had nothing to do with the pin hole size. PSA has already addressed the pin holder issue. They were contracting out the pins to a third party. They have since started making their own pins and have eliminated that problem. You are literally the only person I have found that say they have "horrible headspacing issues" and "poor heat treating." Where do you get such info? Let you tell it and one would think your talking about an io ordenance or a ras47 smdh...

Problem with PSA is they have had to cut conrers to meet the price point. Plenty of example of them on the AK forums failing from poor heat treating and improper head spacing, firing pin holes is the wrong size and depth causing malfunctions. Buyer beware. Buy imports from Zastava if you want a quality ak. Sorry but the days of sub 900 dollar aks are GONE. if you buy psa its proven junk.

I just bought this one with the magpul furniture. I love it. It’s also my first AK. So far the only issue I’m having is the tight magazine fit. The mag won’t click into place unless I absolutely force it to. I’ve tried it with the standard mag it came with, a waffle mag, and a P-mag from magpul and all had the same issue. Is this normal or is there some sort of break in period I need to do?

For some people an extra 2-300 takes you out of the running, fact that’s a considerable number for most people I know. In my state that ak is under 700 with tax and transfer. The zpap
Zpap comes out to 950-1000. Pretty solid differebce

@@drakispain2213 I bought my 1st gen AK from them 4 and a half years ago. It was a blem for $429. They didn’t charge tax or shipping back then. With my local $25 transfer, it was $454 total. Those days are long gone. The AR guys started buying em when they couldn’t get their beloved NATO ammo, and it blew the AK prices through the roof!

Magpuls fit REALLY tight in all my AK's, therefore I just leave them at home. Luckily I only bought 2 of them.
That’s really odd considering PSA and magpul are joined at the hip. Everything they make is designed around magpul. Both mine take em fine. My KS47 shoots best with magpul. And psa admits to that. Tge KS47 would not shoot with a US Palms mag for nothing. The AK’s have no issues with any mag.

PSA 'sends' 704 T a 'blem' with nothing he can see wrong. Pretend I get a GF3, and it's totally jacked up. Sorry, I'll wait for a Zastava with a CHF barrel and w/Magpul Zhukov furniture. Extra $250-350 worth it IMHO.
I've never seen anyone say they can identify the blem. It's totally insignificant, baby. They don't send out weapons "totally jacked up."
