Something that's an interesting thought not proven but just a theory of mine It's entirely possible that Jin and Malos knew what descendants were Adams so it's entirely possible that they hunted them to make sure that it wouldn't be anybody that would be able to wield the other Aegis that would explain why Rex's parents were brutally killed I want nobody actually knew whose Adam descendant actually where because they're always in hiding knowing but not knowing what was always hunting them This is just a theory so take it as you will this could be a thousand percent off or just a little bit off take it as you will
@@superscott9780 I like this theory! It makes sense that they would search out Rex then! But the only flaw I can think would be “what if the descendents weren’t salvagers? How would they get to the aegis then?” But maybe it’s just monolishsoft happenstance! 😂
@@ToxicBlur1337i mean Rex never needed to be a salvager in this hypothetical. The opening act of the game shows us that there were tons of other salvagers that Torna had employed to raise up Addam's ship, and with Malos and Jin's strength, any of the enemies they might find inside would've been child's play. Rex was only with them as a glorified key, he didn't need to be a salvager to do that

I really hate this English dubbing, I don't think the voice actors are bad, in fact they are good, but their voices just don't fit with the characters....
Mainly the age issue. It seems the western VA has not been systematically trained on how to mimic juvenile's voice. At the second they speak, you know there is a 30-40+ actor behind the scene. Compared with their JP fellows, who still flex on high schooler roles at their 40s, the difference is obvious. If a game consists of mainly mature / middle age characters, EN dub will usually be fine, but when it comes to teenagers, definitely avoid EN version since it will just ruin the experience. (Besides, XC2's so-called localization is just a ton of garbage. Even someone who barely understand Japanese will notice to what extent the original meaning was twisted.)
@@Test-bi5rg again they use the UK localization team like THE XC1 they use British VA because back then they XC1 was only going to be a EU release before it got a NA release.
We will all remebember that time when Lora, a girl who cannot even afford a meal fought against the Aegis, the most powerfull blade by punching her...
Love Mythra's facial expressions it screams "Oh great here we go again"
Anyone notice how much Addam looks like Rex? Like Rex being a direct descendent of him!
I think that's what is implied. Malos points out their eyes, and Rex is able to open pathways that were sealed by Addam himself.
And he has Mio’s hair color I’m serious her seems to be a lighter shade than Nia’s

I really didn't expect Addam to have that personality.
It was mentioned he was like Rex in a way.
@@Magiciter I’ll be honest he seems to act more like zeke
@@Inky682 Well Zeke did base a lot of how he acts off of Addam, so it makes sense
@ClawedAsh Zeke's people are descendants of Addam's so that makes sense.

I think Milton and Mythra are like brother and sister.

This is British dubbing which is different from American/Canadian which they sound the same

I might get crucified for saying this but… I’m so very glad I played this in Japanese VA 😶
